Inferno instantly attacked, clashing his blade against her bow, trying to break it, the force of his strike driving both angels in the direction of Velcana, where their powers would be increased even more.

The army below saw this and attempted to pursue, but Mawthrough and Ignirforce darted amongst them, dragging their attention back to their fight.

"Come on then! CHASTITY I BELIEVE IN YOU! Show him what you can do!"

Then a pause.

"OH ****!! You're flying above everyone and you're not wearing any panties!"

Mawthrough's speed doubled.

"OH HELL YES!!"

Spectre held within his hand a glowing red arrow, though his bow was on his back, "A father fighting his daughter, how adorable!!!" He continued to watch them, a trigger in his other hand.

Mawthrough punt kicked an angel in the face, flapping his wings up and rugby tackling another one.
"Come on... jeez, how many of you guys are there..."

Inferno's face went from red to purple to almost black with rage and he slapped her hard across the face.
"MARK YOUR TONGUE CHILD!"
Knocking Chastity to the floor, Inferno raised his blade above his head, eyes wild with anger.
"I have no daughter."
He started bringing the blade down...

A great rumbling filled the air, and the ground started to shake.
Inferno's eyes widened at the fireball Chastity was summoning.

Even at it's original size, it had been more powerful than the attack he had formed. At it's current size, it would do enough damage not too dissimilar to that of an atomic bomb.

"CHASTITY! I HAVE BEEN AROUND ON THIS EARTH FOR THOUSANDS AND THOUSANDS OF YEARS! YOU HAVEN'T EVEN SEEN YOUR FIRST CENTURY!"
He focused his energies into a counter-attack, summoning forth all his power to counter the attack his daughter was creating.
"YOU ARE STILL A BABY COMPARED TO ME! A CHILD! YOU DO NOT KNOW ONE DAMN THING ABOUT THE WORLD, OR WHAT IS RIGHT AND WRONG! I HAVE FOUGHT ENOUGH DEMONS TO KNOW THAT GIVING ONE EVEN MORE THAN A PARTING GLANCE IS COMPLETELY RIDICULOUS, AND WHAT'S MORE BEING WITH ONE... IN BED... IS... JUST... WROOOOOOOOONG!!"
And with that final roar he released a fireball large and powerful enough to reduce a mountain to ash and incinerate a city.

Mawthrough roundhouse-kicked a demon in the face, and looked up in the distance to see the two fireballs forming.
Don't give up Chastity. You're stronger than you know. You can do this.
An angel promptly kicked him in the balls and he returned with an uppercut, shouting "I NEED THOSE!"

Spectre looked to the being, the trigger still in his hand, "I'm just here to ensure the death of an arch angel, that is all. If I need to intervene, I can simply activate my generators all around this land, and make this interesting. Have you ever wondered what its like to be mortal?"

Lelonia rested in Spectre's shadow, waiting for the time she may need to spring forth and protect her master.

Ezekiel grabbed his weapon, and waited, "The fight, i sense it is not over....."

Shrike sensed something outside the academy, a being of extreme power, as did Grey, and both rushed towards the entrance. Not even paying attention to each other, they rushed out. Using his power, Shrike was outside within mere seconds, having held onto his smaller set of weapons that he kept attached to his waist. He looked to the creature, and as he walked outside, a barrier arose, one that drew strength from Marcus Andro, the world's strongest knight of defense. "Now who would you happen to be?"

Jim raised an eyebrow. "Oh, I'm as hard to kill as you, pal. And no offence, I can't really let you do that. And believe you me, I'm no pushover. You hear that, lass?!" he shouted. "I can sense ye hiding in there. Now come on out, surprise is not gonna surprise me. Well, it would, but, you get the idea."
He moved one foot backwards, sensing he would need to move very quickly if Spectre tried anything.
"Now seriously. Put the arrow down. NOW."

Inferno coughed, his body completely wrecked by the power Chastity had hit him with. Falling onto his front, he attempted to crawl forwards, managing but a few feet before falling back onto his front. His wings were in bloodied tatters, and he retracted them, wincing as he did so.
I had no idea she had so much power...
Something shifted in his ribcage and he yelled with pain, loud enough for Chastity to hear...

The sky lit up from the colossal outburst of energies, and Mawthrough looked up in horror.
"My God... CHASTITY!!"
An angel raced towards him, blade drawn, and with a snarl of rage Mawthrough's bone arm ruptured his stomach.
"OUT OF MY WAY!"
Mawthrough's wings sprouted, and he took to the air, flying as fast as he could towards Velcana.

Inferno managed to make it to all fours, slowly healing himself. If Chastity had pressed her advantage even a shard more in the few seconds he'd been vulnerable, he'd be dead.
He clawed his way up to a standing position, using the side of the crater for support. Then he struggled to climb out, collapsing once more after managing it. But he got to his feet once more, and started looking around, still furious.
"CHASTITY! WHERE ARE YOU!"

Mawthrough was over the battlefield by now, and he was now wild with fear.
He heard Inferno roar, but he couldn't see or sense a damn thing through all the smoke and smog from the volcanoes and the fire.
He dived into it, flying blind.
"Chastity! CHASTITY!!"

Mawthrough descended through the cloud of fog, and unable to see the ground crashed into it, hard.
Now that he was out of the fight, and the adrenaline was wearing off, he was starting to feel the fatigue of the battle he'd just been in. If he hadn't been supercharged prior, he'd have been killed.
It was far too dusty to see, and he couldn't sense Chastity's energy.

But Inferno could.
He staggered, exhausted but standing, towards the weak energy signature.
"So...little... she knows..."
He caught sight of her, lying there, and knew just what he had to do. That damned incubus had corrupted her mind so irreparably the only way to save her would be to tear out all her memories of him, so she would never remember being so defiant to him... in fact, he'd even make out the incubus did this to her...

Mawthrough was staggering too, too weak to resist the howling winds that buffeted him with dust and sent him tumbling ever which way.
"CHASTITY!" he roared.
"CHASTITY!!"

Spectre pointed the arrow toward Jim, "I can understand that just from being in your presence, however, this arrow in my hand is the least of anyone's fears." As he said this, the arrow melded with his arm, creating a tattoo of sorts upon it, one that lined the side of his. There was a black glow coming from it. Lelonia rose from the shadow behind Jim, this time, with white hair, and a black suit.

She spoke aloud, "Spectre gets what he wants intervention means nothing, every contingency has been planned out, every lure, and every death."

Spectre looked to Lelonia, "Silence, you are not allowed to speak unless given permission to do so, don't make me cut your tongue out again." With a sad smile on her face, Lelonia shut her mouth completely, and pulled from her sides two guns, each seeping with a rather volatile energy.

The sky blackened, as a sword flew down from the heavens, the weapon known as 'True Death', designed in a similar fashion to a corrupted angel wing. The very lava began to freeze in Velcana as the blade entered the atmosphere above the land.

Inferno staggered closer, his hand casting the spell needed to do this.
"You're not my daughter, Chastity. Not yet you're not. Now then. Don't worry. I'll save you."

"CHAAAAAAAAAAASTTTTTTTTTTITTTTTTTTTTY!!!!!!"

Mawthrough came barrelling through the land bolting as hard as he could towards Inferno and her.
"YOU DON'T DARE TOUCH HER!!"

"I'm saving her, incubus!"
The spell finished, and Inferno held the orb high.
"One touch with this," he panted, "and it's over. Your hold over her will be forever gone."

He brought his hand down -

FZZZZZZZZT.

Mawthrough took a firm grip of Inferno's hand, preventing him from pulling away.
The spell firmly lodged, spreading it's corrupting tendrils, in Mawthrough's stomach.

At the same time, Ignirforce emerged from nowhere and scooped Chastity up as if she weighed nothing, and looked back at Mawthrough.

Mawthrough coughed up blood as the magic spread.
"Get her away from here. Take her to where she can be healed and be safe. That's AN ORDER!"

Ignirforce nodded, silently.

Inferno tried pulling away again, but Mawthrough held him in place - then head-butted him, sending Inferno lolling to the floor. The contact broke, and the spell went wild, consuming Mawthrough's body at an incredible rate. He looked back at Chastity, tears rolling down his face.

"I love you."

Then he staggered off, his body glowing and distorting, away from them.

Ignirforce took this as his cue and, kicking Inferno aside, took off, running at the speed of a car with Chastity in his arms out of Velcana, deep into the fields and forests beyond and out of sight.

Inferno rolled over, gasping for breath.
"Damn you... damn you forever... incubus!"
