Grey kept up the pace he was going at, driving on a road through the scenery.  The forest was meant to captivate, and also, protect the academy at the same time.

Tynan looked at Zigera. "Demons did this." He said to her. "And a pretty powerful one at that, if they were able to kill two knights like this."

Nijuu looked out at the scenery and smiled gently. "It's beautiful here."

Zigera's body became covered in purple flame, and her eyes glowed red, "They've never faced a shell of entity before though, I'm going to change that."

Grey slowed down for a moment, "Yes, it is quite beautiful, and peaceful too."

A man reaching eight feet in height ceased his combat with one of the four armed zangerians, and approached her. He wore long, white pants, with gold, embroidered shoes, had a red sash with embroiderments all across it, and silver, metal rings around his wrists. He had dark, purple skin, and red eyes, but a very gentle look to him. At his side, rested two scimitars. He was a rare one amongst his kind, to only have two arms. "I am Falsan."

Ezekiel walked outside, and looked at a small, black book in his hands, one different from the journal, "Now, who to start with first?"

Kerri grabbed her gunblade, and walked towards Zigera and Tynan. "I agree completely."
Tynan shrugged his shoulders. "I guess I can't refuse you then."

"Where are you taking us, love?" Nijuu asked.

Zigera extended her arm, and as she did, two revolvers shot up from the shadow, both about the size of her head. "Lets go!"

Grey continued his path, "I want to show you the academy grounds, this place is a haven of sorts, it was made to be this way.....by Marcus....."

Mawthrough tweaked her butt.
"Ta for the view, darling," he smirked as he flew to match her speed.
"I can tell you know what I like..."

"Oh yes."
Darkion's zombies rose out of nowhere, circling the now screaming and panicked humans.
"There's plenty for the both of us, may the best zombie win." The zombies swarmed, and people started dying everywhere. "After you, Rein."

Shrike awoke holding Amalia, and smiled, though he felt a coldness in his soul, as if more life was being lost that disgraced the law of balance. Standing up, he felt his adaptive armor begin to cover his body almost completely, the conversion causing him severe pain.

Ezekiel spread his wings,, and took off into the air, "I'm thinking a meeting with my fellow dark angels may be a priority for myself!" He said as he took off in a completely different direction than them.

Kerri nodded her head and looked at Tynan and Kari.
Tynan merely shrugged his shoulders, while Kari continued to sob over the death of their parents.
"Kari...we need to do this for them." Kerri said to her twin. "Can you hold your tears until after then?" She asked.
Kari looked at her sister and nodded her head, then wiped the tears from her eyes. "I'll try."

Nijuu looked to Grey. "You mean the man that sent me a message about your injuries when I returned?" She asked.

Amalia woke, and sat up on the bed. "What's wrong?" She asked.

Grey nodded, stopping the bike for a moment, "Yes, Marcus is one of the oldest knights alive, and at the end of the early era wars, all he wanted was a peaceful place to train the young ones of our kind, and those like us. He wanted a place where knights, vampires, hellhounds, demons, and celestials could be without prejudice.  Sadly, even now.....some try to shift his academy against those ideals."

Shrike felt his inner organs vanishing as the adaptive armor covered him, "I....don't know, this has never happened before....." He fell to his knees, holding onto his half skeletal head, looking to her with his one remaining eye.

Zigera's presence was crushing the ground around her, as she held her guns. "We ready to kill them Tynan?"

Tynan only pulled out one of his guns, and nodded his head once. "Let's hunt some demons." He said, then took off in the direction of the scent of the demons that seemed to linger in and around the place where his mother had died.
Kerri turned and grabbed Kari's hand. "Let's go." She said, as she gently pulled on Kari's hand, and the pair followed Tynan.

Nijuu looked around, as Grey spoke, then looked at him. "In my experience, people find living in peace a difficult thing to attain, or even hope for." She then looked to the blooming flowers. "Peace is something that needs to be protected, even after it's been attained. If you can't protect the thing you want most, you'll loose it."

Amalia lept of the bed, and knelt down to Shrike. "Is there anything I can do, my love?" She whispered, with a concerned expression on her face.

Zigera smelled demonic blood in the distance, and rushed forward, knocking down trees as she charged through them.

Grey looked into the distance, "Marcus knows this, and that's why he's been the first to the front lines to defend this academy over the years. He is the master of defense, and he lives up to the title."

Shrike held onto his head, shouting loudly, as his entire body became armored and skeletal.

Tynan followed closely behind Zigera. "They're close." Tynan said to Zigera, and looked over his shoulder, seeing that Kerri and Kari were a pretty good distance behind the pair.

Nijuu looked at Grey and smiled faintly. "That is comforting to hear." She spoke softly. "I wonder if many of the students here share that quality...to protect peace." She thought out loud.

Amalia placed her hands on Shrike's shoulders, almost to the brink of tears. "Shrike..." she spoke softly, not knowing what she should do.

Falsan took the letter, opened it up, reading its contents closely.

Zigera traveled faster, her presence felt throughout the forest.

Grey sighed, "Some prefer to protect it, while others prefer to disrupt it, or even destroy it."

Shrike roared out in pain, as several dozen reapers surrounded Darkion and Rein, their scythes flooding the nearby area with shadow.

Nijuu hugged Grey, as she rested her head on his back. "I will do anything and everything in my power to protect this place." She said, as she hugged Grey.

Not knowing what else to do, Amalia opened her wings, and wrapped her arms and wings around Shrike.

Tynan ran through the woods, and spotted a demon in the near distance. He raised his gun, and shot the demon between the eyes.

Grey smiled, turning his head, "You're very sweet."

Livia looked up at the two of them, "Count me in too."

Shrike's body became cloaked, as he looked at Amalia, and hugged her closely.

Zigera's bullets began to riddle the demon's body.

Nijuu looked at Livia and smiled warmly. "We'll do it as a family."

Amalia continued to hold Shrike close to her. "I hate to see you in pain, my love." She whispered softly.

Kerri sped forward, and cut the demon in half with her gunblade, while Kari remained back, and fired a hail of bullets on the demon.
"There's more." Tynan declared, as several demons emerged from the trees.

Standing a short distance away from Falsan, there was a Zangerian, who's entire body was garbed in white cloth, with lines of black running down different sections of his armor. Jammed into the ice was a black, twisted axe, with arcanium lacing the blade and handle. Falsan walked past the girl, and looked at this zangerian, who wore a white, metal mask, two black spheres shown in place of his eyes. "Falsan......" His voice was muffled by the metal of his mask, "I've come, to regain this land which is rightfully mine." The moment he grabbed his axe, he was in front of the zangerian leader, his axe's blade meeting Falsan's two blades.

Turning to the girl, Falsan shouted, "Move girl!!!" Two Zangerian soldiers tried to interfere, only for their heads to fall from their shoulders due to blades of shadow firing from the darkness.

Grey was about to answer, when an elemental shot flew past his head. In the distance stood Lelonia, a set of pistols in her hands. A barrier rose up around him and Nijuu.

Zigera continued firing rounds of pure energy, but as she did, the smell of a demonic hellhound approaching overwhelmed her senses. She felt it near Tynan, and as fast as she could, she pushed him back, only for a black hellhound's arm to impale her through the abdomen.

Shrike held his head tightly, in agony until his full body was in its armored, skeletal form.

The reapers prepared to attack, when an orange, liquid-like being appeared, his appearance forming to be identical to Darkion. Upon seeing this being, the reapers pulled back.

Nijuu looked from the strange woman, then to Grey. "What's happening?" She whispered.

Tynan grunted as he hit the ground. As the hellhound appeared, the demons vanished.
"Zigera!" Kari shouted, and ran to her.
"Kari..." Kerri turned, and ran for Kari before she got impaled as Zigera had been.

Amalia continued to hold Shrike. "I wish I knew what to do..." she spoke softly, as a tear rolled down her cheek.

Lelonia tapped her pistols together, as they began to flow with a sort of black, purplish energy, "Omega's shield, easily dealt with." As she fired a pure stream of Oblivion's energy, hitting Grey directly in the chest, throwing him twenty feet away from  Nijuu, and into a tree."  Next, Lelonia appeared in front of him, and prepared to fire a pure beam of energy through his head before he could even hit the ground.

Zigera shakily aimed both of her pistols toward Revlon, and fired, only for her bullets to simply melt on his flesh, as her wound began to burn as well.  She tried to muster up Oblivion's power, but her body wouldn't let her.  Pleased, Revlon lifted her up, and bit into her neck, ready to tear out her throat.

Shrike simply wrapped his cold arms around Amalia, not knowing what to say.

'No.' Nijuu thought to herself, as she got off the bike. She looked at Livia, and said: "When I nod to you, go to Daddy, as fast as you can, and activate the charm I gave you." She then looked at the woman, about to shoot the man she loves in the head. 'I won't allow this.' She closed her eyes for a second, and when she opened them, they were bright green. "Don't you dare touch him." She said in a commanding tone, as the tree Grey was under knocked the woman away from him. She then looked at Livia and nodded her head. "Protect Daddy for me, okay?"

Tynan rose from the ground, and rushed the hellhound biting Zigera. He grabbed his neck, and pulled his fangs out of Zigera's neck as gently as he could. "Kerri, Kari...tend to her wounds!" He ordered to the twins, then pinned the hellhound to a tree.

Amalia held Shrike in her arms, welcoming his embrace. "I'll hold you for as long as you need me to." She whispered.

Mawthrough grinned.
Then his grin faded, upon seeing where Mordial was leading them.
Below them were an army of reapers, a grand slaughter and what seemed to be a man, a woman and a globular... thing squaring off.

"Well now... who's that handsome devil?"
Darkion cocked his head.
"Who are you and what are you doing interrupting my playtime? We were just having some good fun, is all..." He pouted.
His zombies looked at the reapers hungrily, but Darkion gave a sharp whistle.
"Down boys, they'd just turn you into mincemeat. Let Daddy do the talking."
He waited for someone to explain what was happening.

Above, Mordial hovered with Mawthrough and Chastity.
"Well, talk about things getting interesting..."

The liquid being spoke, "I was quite bored, and when I found this group of reapers coming after one demon, and a walking pile of rotting meat, I just had to come take a look. The demon may even be worth absorbing, both body, soul, and mind." it stretched out a little, moving around its arms and legs as if preparing for a race, "Well then, I think I have a good feel of your reflexes." Its body began to shift into a form identical to Lilith's now. "Hmm, not much in the way of physical prowess, more of a dependence on the magical nature. Still, dangerous with a weapon, best to keep distance." Finally, he shifted into what appeared to be a man in tattered black coat, the top portion hanging down the back, with leather straps attached to his tattered pants. The face on this appearance held innocent eyes, long, and long, shadow soaked hair. The liquid began to change so that is was colored the same as flesh. "I think this appearance will suit my needs for the next hour." Anyone from the heavens would know who's appearance he had taken, as black, corrupted wings sprouted from his back, for he had taken on the visage of Lucifer. "I am Chaos, by the way."

Hearing the name of the being before them, the reapers entered the shadows, hoping to get their Grimm, for there was no way they could defeat this being, one of Dageroth's four trump cards. Shrike was still holding Amalia, "The other reapers......I think they need me......."

Lelonia had taken the full brunt of the tree, her delicate body's bones crushed by the impact of tree, well, those within her torso. She seemed in pain as she got up, only for her to aim her pistol toward her toros, "Omega's seed........" As she fired a stream of green energy into her body, repairing her wounds. She tapped the back of her guns together, "Genesis' triumph!" As she fired a stream of anti materializing energy towards Nijuu.

Zigera covered her neck with her own hand, and aimed her pistol towards Revlon. The black hellhound looked Tynan in the eyes, "Ready to die halfbreed?"

Darkion circled the specimen that had presented itself.
"Fascinating. From where do you come, Chaos?" he asked, curiously.
Then Chaos's words actually registered, and he waved his hand dismissively.
"No no, don't absorb Lilith. She's quite amusing. Plus, she is helping me, so wait your turn."

Mordial gave a slight whistle upon seeing it take Lucifer's form.
"Ok... that's a fairly tough wee beastie."

Mawthrough floated closer to Chastity.
"You ok?"

Amalia looked at Shrike and nodded her head. "If they need your help, then help them." She whispered softly, as she touched his face. "Do you want me to help as well?" She asked.

Tynan growled lowly. "I assure you a beast such as yourself, cannot kill me." He then pressed one of his guns to the hellhound's gut and fired several times.

Nijuu, with little to no expression on her pale face, brought a large rock slab from the ground to deflect the anti materializing energy. In her next breath, vines wrapped themselves around Lelonia's body, and began to constricted, like a snake would to kill a rodent.
