Hellknights, twisted from the power of the corrupted lifeblade, shot out over the battlefield, slaughtering any human troops they found like cattle.

The last essence of the true Dageroth approached Syrus, and slowly merged with his shadow.

Syrus was interrupted by an overwhelming feeling of an intrusion in the pit of his soul. His eyes widened as he turned to his shadow. It was twisting and shifting like a pot of boiling water. "What the fuck?" He whispered, shocked and confused by what he was seeing. He then the felt strange feeling move from his shadow to his body. The feeling was confusing to him, it felt ugly and painful, yet warm and comforting at the same time. The feeling started at his hands and feet and started travelling up, engulfing the rest of his body. The more of his body it took, the more he felt himself slip out of consciousness. He tried to fight the feeling and stay conscious, but it reached his head, and he fell into darkness. Syrus' body then fell to the ground, seemingly lifeless.

As Dageroth's consciousness began to fade into Syrus', he spoke, "Soon my puppet....you will aid in my vengeance......soon.....for now....find Grey Mystic..........he'll tell you what to do next.....best hurry......your fellow troops are being massacred........." All around Syrus', the soldiers, even the knights, were being torn to shreds by hellknights.

Syrus felt himself drifting in a dark empty space. The dark void of his unconscious mind. Just then, he heard a dark, commanding voice tear through the somber silence of the black void he found himself in. He himself, could not speak, only listen as the voice spoke to him, each word resonating in the darkness. After the voice finished speaking, Syrus could see a small but blinding light ahead of him. He started to feel a strange force start to pull him toward it. As the light engulfed him, he heard his own voice repeat three words the voice said to him, "Find... Grey... Mystic..."

Then he opened his eyes. His senses started to return to him, though his sight was blurred and there was a strange ringing in his ears. He lifted his head and stumbled to his feet. All he could see around him were blurs zipping left and right. All he could hear were low-pitched pitched pops and strange hums after the ringing stopped. But his nose gave more detail, he smelled the familiar smells of smoke and blood. He tried to blink the blurriness out of his eyes, it began to work a little as he looked again and could see the all-to-familiar hellknights. He saw them tear the soldiers he arrived with to shreds before him.

Syrus stood in shock for a moment but quickly snapped out of it before drawing his sword. Just as he did, he saw a hellknight take notice of him and charge at him. He reacted quickly and stabbed his blade into the hellknights stomach before spinning around, bringing the blade around with him, and bringing it across his neck. Severing the hellknight's head from it's shoulders. Not taking a moment to rest, he started to tear through the hellknights in search of Grey, fueled by the words that resonated in his mind.

At that moment, before Syrus' eyes, five explosive rounds were fired simultaneously, and out of the darkness came two figures, one he had seen before, Zigera, with two revolvers, the other one, a metal skeleton of a man, in body armor, firing off a rusty, yet powerful revolver. Strangely, the pair had to take the hellknights heads off for them to stay down permanently, rather than simply shooting them in the head.

"He has dageroth now?" he throught long about that fact.
"Well then, I might as well go see if I can tweak my rifle any more, we'll need everything we've got then. I'll be more than glad to provide support from the air."

Grey nods, "He has his power.....but Dageroth, as far as I saw, is dead.....for tactics against Genesis, I'd say Minerva and Ezekiel can draw his attention and aggression, while we stay in the distance, hitting him with as much power as we can, my goal is to cut one of his arms off and take that damn blade from him........"

He nodded at Chastity then at Grey -then chuckled ruefully.
"Part of me feels that he may not be inclined to aid me in particular... maybe if I was to wait outside while Chastity asked him to help..."
He looked at her.
"I doubt he'd aid us if he knew about me planning to marry you... not until he incinerated me first, and I don't want that. And I'm pretty sure you don't want it either..."

Grey stands up, and staggers backwards so that he can sit down on the bed. "Well, if you want, I can send Ezekiel with you, he's not gonna raise a hand against Inferno, he's not as adept to fighting in the human realm as Inferno is, but maybe he can talk some reason into him....."

He shook his head.
"Thanks, but this isn't his affair - it's me and Chastity that have to talk with him, and thinking about it lying will simply reduce the chance of his help. I need to somehow - don't know how yet - prove to him that I'm good for his daughter. And then he'll come and help... hopefully."
He grimaced.
"Also hopefully, there'll be less holy water and divine fire this time around..."

Grey smiles a little, "Alright bud, whatever you say, though pal, I could aid you in regards to holy water, you won't like it, but it'll help for an hour or two at a time......."

Weiss entered the room, his icy presence filling the room. "So I guess all hell finally has broken loose, damn." He shrugs.

Grey nods, "Very true Weiss......so, did you find what you were looking for in hell?"

Syrus stopped when he saw the hellknights around him had fallen after their heads were inexplicably blown off. He stood confused for a moment before seeing two figures rise from the battlefield. He immediately recognized one figure, "Zigera?" He said to himself as he watched them both breeze through the hellknights with ease.

Nijuu stepped forward, with a concerned expression on her face, as she said: "I'm sorry...but I think myself and Tynan have stumbled upon something that perhaps was not supposed to involve us." She looked at Tynan. "I know that it may not concern us, but I think I would like to help."

Grey looked to Nijuu, his chest still burning, "Well, I'd certainly appreciate the help.....just don't lose yourself..........."

Zigera grinned, her golden pupils shining in the dark as Havok ran forward and kicked one of the hellknights in the face. "Of course, the mistress of massacres is here to save your hide........." She created a black portal behind herself, "Leap in!" She continued to fire at approaching hellknights.

"I'll try not to." Nijuu said, as she smiled faintly. "There's much about my own power I do not know...and the only people I thought could teach me, or at least explain to me about it are either dead...or-"
Tynan placed his hand on Nijuu's shoulder. "You're rambling." He said in a soft voice.
Nijuu looked at Tynan, then bowed her head at Grey. "I'm sorry...I didn't mean to ramble."

Grey sighed, looking at the floor, then looked up at her, "Well, if you'd like, I can take you to your father's cell....the Knight's Council have their own realm.......so your father'll be secure there......it'll take a bit of effort on my part, but if you wanna learn, I can help.....got a pretty strong truth serum here somewhere too.........."

Nijuu's eyes seemed to light up at the chance to talk to her father about her power. "I would love a chance to talk to him." She beamed.
Tynan folded his arms, and looked at Nijuu. "Are you sure you want this?" He asked.
Nijuu nodded her head once. "Yes, I do." She replied. "I know how dangerous he is...but he's the only one who can tell me about it...otherwise I learn via trial and error."

Grey sighed, "Alright, I'll setup a portal for us....hopefully it works......" He tried to focus, but found his power wasn't in sinchronization, which electrified his body, "Dammit......looks like trial and error will have to do for now, luckily, we have a big training hall in this place......"

"sounds like a good plan. I tend to do better the futher away I get. And I'll make sure you get that chance."

Nijuu walked over to Grey. "I don't want you to over exert yourself. I'm content in waiting if I need to."
Tynan followed Nijuu, and looked at Grey. "This training hall...can she use this?

Cereza found herself in a small village. Knowing how to find a lone Fire Dire Wolf would aid her greatly. Though they could be quite social, they, in the past, have always taken to smaller communities...a place where they could lay low...however, with her appearing the way she was, many people in smaller communities would more than likely fear her. Though her pack did not need to consume mortal souls, it was not unheard of from other packs. Taking precautions, she decided to observe the village first...from a distance. Sticking close to the shadows, and places that people would not think to find a demon such as her.

Syrus stood confused for a moment as a hellknight charged him from behind. He could hear it over all the others, snarling in his direction. He turned his head to face it. The hellknight jumped at him. In that moment, from Syrus' shadow, emerged a pitch black spike. It impaled the hellknight up through his head, killing it before quickly retracting. Syrus then turned and ran toward Zigera and her portal, dodging attacks and defeated soldiers taking their death falls. He jumped through the portal not knowing where it would lead, but somehow knowing it would take him where he needed to go.

In a small rural village, Kye, a man whom was part hellhound, and was Grey's younger brother, began to approach the scent of someone with demonic blood, but with the scent of a hound as well.

Grey sighed, "True....I can't do much right now......"

The portal caused Syrus to slam into the floor in front of Grey, leaving everyone in the room astonished as Zigera and Havok made their way through as well.

Nijuu jumped...startled, as Tynan quickly pulled Nijuu to stand behind him, as he growled lowly.

As Cereza observed the village, she suddenly picked up the scent of another demon. Her white ears flicked, then moved slowly...scanning for any 'odd' sounds around her. She turned her head slightly, her dull yellow gaze scanning the faces closely.
