Upon hearing the creature's crimes, Grey snapped, his body becoming relaxed for a few seconds, while he spoke, "You shouldn't have said that......you really shouldn't have......" At this time, his eyes turned bright red, as two massive hands clamped around the creature. Before it could react, waves of Genesis' energy, atomizing the flesh within the mass, while containing it, "If I destroy you body a few thousand times in thirty seconds, do you think you can outlast that!!!!" He shouted, as more and more hands clamped down upon the creature, further containing it, as Grey's body began to destroy itself from the over use of this power, one of his kidneys having already burst, as well as numerous blood vessels.

As the creature's body, Grey staggered backwards, his skin pale as snow, his veins shown brightly underneath his skin. "Finally......that thing is......dead............" As he fell to the ground, half a dozen of his ribs broke, and his right lung was filled with blood. As his vision dimmed, he could see numerous knights picking him up and placing him on a stretcher, with Zigera standing at the side. By the time he lost consciousness, he had already been placed in a recovery tank.

Shrike began to awaken, only to find that the undead monstrosity was already dead. Looking up at Lilith, he asked, "What'd I miss?"

Lucia bit her lip as she threw gauntlet on her hand off, and headed back into the academy.

Mawthrough could guess the answer.
"I don't want you to think I'm callous. But I'm sure you can survive, find another guy. Maybe not an archangel, they're dicks, but there are good guys out there, maybe even a demon or too who can give you a good time..."

Inferno rolled his eyes.
"Oh, we're not above reproach. But we don't toy with people the way he's doing."
He looked straight ahead, pointedly not looking at Ezekiel.
"What we've done, in the past? It's been morally reprehensible, despicable, things we never want to think about. But there was no deception. We didn't trick people into thinking we were on their side. We didn't LIE."
His eyes narrowed, then closed.
"And as for those that fell with Lucifer, he's descended from one of the bastards. I'm pretty sure he's proud of his heritage."

Grey was trapped within his own mind, as his body was repaired, and his mental state seemed to recover.  Using that much of Genesis' power was enough to eradicate just about all the stability he had come to know.  The clamor of arguing voices rang throughout his mind, as multiple souls fought for dominion over his body, whilst his mind remained apart from them.

Lucia had arrived in the med center of the academy, and sat still as a nurse removed the bits and pieces of flesh from her hand, and began the process of repairing the muscle tissues.

Zigera was being inducted into the academy by Marcus Andro, remaining silent while the man lectured her on the rules and regulations of the school.  The man was very calm while he spoke, but his words held a sort of power to them, not one that incited fear, but one that inspired confidence.

Spectre sat on a mound of chilled lava, and popped the top off of a bottle of wine, "An interesting day this one is.....to see the fall of death............"

Ezekiel kept his hands in his pockets, and spoke in response, "No, we do not toy with our subjects, we simply abandoned them to their own devices, and to the demons that escaped hell. If evil exists, and you have the power to stop it, and yet you do nothing, then you are just as foul as that which you despise. None of this excuses what the demons have done, nor does this excuse us. I was able to speak with my son in the past, and from what he told me, there are many demons who walk the earth in the hopes of redeeming themselves. Do they deserve no chance at love, nor any chance at bliss, just because of their heritage?"

Zenith rounded the corner and stared in horror. Her father was inside, but he was by no means unscathed. It seemed the guards were felled, but the doctor himself turned towards her, holding her father's neck with a flaming hand. He let go, and Zenith's father fell to the floor. He breathed no longer.
"Father" Cried Solstice and Zenith together. Zenith charged the man, but her stance was wide open. He grabbed her hand and punched her in the stomach. Hard. She fell to the floor, gasping for breath. The doctor grabbed Zenith by the hair and threw her into the corner. He pressed up against her.
"Just one final experiment to do." The doctor began to undress her. Zenith was mortified but barely conscious. "Imagine if I contribute to creating the ultimate life-form ever! Three elements combined!" Zenith cried as he exposed her breasts and began to fondle them. She lost consciousness.
That's when her eyes rolled back. Her tears turned red and her hair turned white. Solstice reached out and grabbed the doctor's hands.
"Don't!" She broke one wrist. He cried out in agony. "FUCKING!" Another wrist and another cry, with a bit more whimper this time. "Touch! My! Sister!" A headbutt. A kick. A punch to the face.
Half of Zenith returned and proceeded to punch the doctor's face in time with Solstice. The man was clearly dead, but they kept up the beat in a trance, until they both cried at the sky. Light burst out from all sides, and Zenith was alone in a crater created by Solstice's energy burst. It atomized everything in the room, including her father's body. Zenith quickly dressed herself and ran out of the hospital, keeping her arms wrapped over her chest the entire way, crying and shaking.

Mawthrough's nose let out a trickle of blood.
"I... I don't... I can't... say... no... to that..."

Mawthrough's grandmother let out a sigh.
"My dear, I wouldn't try that unless you've talked to some experts. I tried it with my husband years ago - of course, that was when I'd loosened up a lot -"

"TOO MUCH INFORMATION!!" Griffin exploded.

"Still, that's the kind of stuff you use as bribery if they've been good boys, washed the car, saved the world, that kind of thing..."

"You speak as though Mawthrough is some misunderstood saint. He is not. Before he met my daughter, he ravished whoever he pleased, doing whatever and whoever he so desired. Also, leaving them to their own devices - that is how freedom is created, and leaving them to fight against the demons is how they forge their existence in the world, as must all living things do."
Inferno looked over at Ezekiel, irritation flashing in his eye.
"And do not use "evil" as some grand definitive word, as though you know what it means. One thing I have learned both painfully and peacefully is that everyone has their own standards of evil, and Mawthrough in his callous disregard for the natural order of things happens to fit mine. I am content to let our subjects make their own way in the world, but Chastity is not my subject, she is my daughter. And as her father I will be damned if I let her be taken and corrupted."
He looked up at the sky.
"You ask so many questions, here's one of mine. If someone you loved was walking towards a cliff edge, insisting that it was the right thing to do, would you let them?"

Ezekiel stopped for a moment, and did not speak. This was not the question to ask him, for it struck deep, and at his very core. He could not find the words for several minutes, and when he answered, the area froze around him, "Sometimes we must let our loves ones jump, because that is when they learn to fly my brother. I could not keep Minerva with me, and I could not keep my son with me. They made their choices. Its as simple as that. The only time my son truly started to suffer, was when I forced him to become just another soldier of heaven, because that is where his hell started. I did not realize, that I signing his death warrant, by turning him into a pawn. Forcing my will upon him for his own good only turned him into something his mother had never wanted him to be. Do you want your daughter to become something.....something that she is not. You chose to live on earth, because it gave you free will, and yet you deny your daughter her free will."

Mawthrough's eyes rolled back in his head, and then -
He became serious.
"Listen. I may have been able to be bribed with sex, but there's not really much point in it if I'm going to forget about it later. If I'm going to stop existing. How the heck am I going to enjoy it if I'm just going to stop existing afterwards?"

Inferno didn't respond for a moment, and the air around them stayed cold. Then it heated again as Inferno spoke, his voice barely audible.
"You talk about her becoming something she is not. That is what I am scared of. So I am keeping her exactly what she is. And that is fundamentally safe."
He looked back at Ezekiel.
"She has the kind of power I can only have nightmares about what would happen if demons got hold of her and corrupted her, turned her to their will. On top of that, I am absolutely sure I can protect her a great deal better than some arrogant child. She is my daughter, and I have not stopped loving her and caring about her from the moment she looked into my eyes for the first time. I may not be able to let her go. If it was into your care, brother, I would. Because I know you. Mawthrough? I see the callous trail of heartbreak, disaster, ruin and chaos he left behind him. I see the fact that I've had to bury several dead angels, slain by his hand. I see the fact that although I am no saint, he plays a worthy devil."
He closed his eyes.
"I'm willing to let her think of me as a monster. I'm even willing to let you think of me as a monster, if it comes to it. But I would not be able to sleep at night if anything happened to her and I will fight Michael and Lucifer at the same time if it meant she would just come home and be safe again."

Ezekiel spoke aloud, "To mature, we all walk along a path that presents us with our own personal hell.  I'm not asking you to abandon your daughter, I'm asking you to give her a chance to walk her path."  He started walking again, "And if this demon chooses to harm her, I swear to you brother......." his sword materialized in his hand, "I will execute him myself!"  He stopped at this time, and spoke aloud once again, "Even if heaven is still no longer my home, my duty still demands that I strike down heaven's enemies.  Those who would harm heaven's children will be cut down, but only if they truly harm them." Ezekiel let out a long sigh, "You are a father who wishes to protect his daughter from all the dangers in the world, yet in doing so, you become a danger to her. Rather than try to protect her from everything, prepare her, for that will do far more good. If needed, I shall test this Mawthough, and prove whether or not he is worthy of execution. That is what I can do, if it means I can ease your troubled mind my brother. For I am the judge, jury, and executioner of heaven, and True Death is my gabble, my evidence, and my tool of execution."

Standing up, Shrike looked to Lilith, holding onto his injured shoulder, "Did I miss anything Lilith?"

Shrike chuckled, "Glad to hear they killed that thing. I ended up getting myself hurt pretty bad. That's what I get for showing off eh?" He moved his hand away from his injured arm, "Just wish it didn't cost me such a wound is all, knights and reapers don't heal as easily as demons."

Shrike chuckled, "And yet we of reaper blood were made to do exactly that, to cause demons, and vampires pain, whilst being soul couriers." He then clamped his hand down upon his injured shoulder, and focused a sort of energy into it, his hand becoming armored and skeletal. As he did this, his wound began to heal rapidly, though at the cost of a wandering soul in the area, "The pain of being a Grimm........"

His voice appeared in her head again.
'Child, I have a task for you. Mark the Reaper and return to me.'

He looked down at her with his cold eyes.
'You have served me well, child.' The symbol on her head glowed white, giving her a strange sensation of euphoria.
'I want you to go to the North. There is a human tribe that has been growing at an inexplicable rate. Such activity warrants my attention.'
The glowing stopped, 'Investigate this for me, discover the secret to their growth, and report your findings to me.'

'You will have to observe them from within. They are not truly a tribe any more. They are more of a city state, with various outlying territories. Gain access to the city.'
He turned away, and begin to walk off.
'Do not fail me.'
