Mawthrough's family all exchanged looks of amusement.
"I do not think that we will enforce that."
"Seconded."

Mawthrough rolled his eyes.
"I think you may need to try a new approach, honey. Frankly, I'm not THAT desperate."

Inferno looked away and said nothing.
"If it comes to it, fine, then. Thank you, brother."

"It's a free country."
Griffin leaned against the wall.
"Up to you."
Mawthrough tilted his head. "What you planning now?"

Ezekiel looked into the distance, and kept on walking, taking in the air, before going on to speak again, "Glad to see your willing to take my help. Now its just a matter of singling out their location, and then using my favor with Lamia to get there." As he continued to walk, he spoke off topic, "I've never been very connected with the earth, can you tell me brother, if there's anything key that I must know?"

Nijuu had been home for no longer than a few hours before receiving word from Marcus Andro that her good friend was in desperate need of her help. Unsure of what Grey would need with her, and why he so desperately needed her help, she collected everything she thought she would need and set off immediately.
It had been awhile since she had been in the city....the last time she was here, was right before her mother called her away. She rushed to the address that had been provided to her. She stepped inside the building, and not seeing anyone she called out.
"Hello?" Nijuu called out. "I was asked here by Marcus Andro....Grey needs my help...."

Grey was out of the recovery tank, and on one of the hospital beds, his clothes off of his body due to the cheer amount of blood on them. His veins were pressed against his flesh, which was colorless now, due to the lack of life in it.

A massive man in a golden suit approached the woman, "I am Marcus, and your number was found in this students pocket. From what he told his friends, you seem to be just whom he needs right now. He was injured severally, keeping a monstrosity from attacking the academy. I was too late....anyways, can you help the boy?"

Nijuu removed her cloak and nodded her head. "Can you take me to him?" She asked promptly.

Marcus calmly brought her to the room where Grey was resting, leaving a moment later so that the two could be alone. Grey's eyes were slowly opening, but he still couldn't see, only feel the presence of someone. "Who.....who's there.....?"

Nijuu looked at Grey. "It's me. Nijuu." She replied, as she walked towards the bed. She placed her hand on his chest, his skin feeling cold to the touch. "They asked me to help you." She added.

Grey tried to lift his arm, but numerous bones within it were still heavily shattered, "I'm sorry Nijuu.....I got into......another pointless fight.......after you asked me not to..........."

Nijuu placed her other hand on Grey's arm. "It's okay. I understand." She whispered softly. "I'm here now, and I'm going to heal you." She added. "It may be a bit longer than the last time I healed you, but it won't hurt this time."

Grey pulled the covers down, and gripped his side, "I don't think I can be healed.....I lost a kidney.....portions of my organs........I have spinal damage.......I don't think this body is worth saving.....I try to use this power to protect others, but I become weaker every time I use it........" He looked to Nijuu, "But I still want to continue....for some reason...."

Nijuu removed her hand from Grey's chest and placed her fingers on his lips. "Hush." She instructed. "My time with my mother was not all in vain." She added, as she removed her fingers from Grey's lips. "I can heal this body, even with all your injuries. When I'm done, you'll feel as good as new. Trust me."

Grey sat back in his bed, "Alright.....I'll trust you......" as his heart rate slowed, and his body temperature lowered.

Nijuu placed one hand over Grey's eyes, and placed her other hand on his chest. She closed her eyes, as her hands began to glow softly.

Several hours later...

Nijuu opened her eyes, and her hands stopped glowing. She could feel the warmth in Grey's skin...even his color had returned. She smiled gently, as she removed her hands from his eyes and chest. "There." She whispered softly.

Grey opened his eyes, and let out a long, cool breath, "I feel.....so much better now......." Leaning upward, he reached out to give Nijuu a hug, but was reluctant to move forward anymore, due to the limit of his covers. So instead, he sat backwards, "thank you....."

Nijuu smiled softly. "Anytime." She replied. Though she felt a little dizzy...she had not expected to feel this...but with all of Grey's injuries, she had to spend a little extra time on healing him...she had even gone further than that, and tired to heal the scar tissue, and the deep wounds to his soul.

Grey looked at Nijuu, and found that she was tired, "You are amazing......and through all of what happened, you didn't give up........" He looked her in the eyes, and gave a weak smile.

Nijuu looked at Grey. "Why would I give up?" She asked, still smiling. "You've been very kind to me."

Grey's heart was beating, and what he did next, he did without thinking. He stood right up, out of the bed, the covers falling off of him, walked forward, and hugged Nijuu, "Cause I'd given up on myself before, and but you gave me the hope to reverse that choice......."
