Grey sat down next to her and grinned, "Well, knights often have to be forward, I say what I say because I mean it. If you don't like, just say so, and I'll minimize the comments......."

Mawthrough shook his head, smiling a little at the idea of him going all that way to boast of his prowess.
Instead, he just held her. This woman who he knew next to nothing about, but she knew so much about him.
He didn't know what to do, or say.
Instead, he just rested his head on hers and kissed her neck.
"I came here... I don't know why."
He sighed, his breath tickling her neck.
"I just... wanted to see what kind of woman I managed to fall in love with, I suppose. What kind of lass could actually stop me in my womanizing tracks."

Nijuu placed her hand on her head. "When I was Jessenda's age, I was just learning how to heal people. I really didn't pay attention to a person's behind, or their chest..." Nijuu sighed heavily. "I really must be strange to your family."

Grey shook his head, "You aren't strange, your just more reserved. That's all my dear. Its okay to be that way. My mother was a virgin for over seven thousand years, but once she found someone she could love, she had us, and she's a loving mother."

Nijuu rested her head on Grey's shoulder. "I'm sure she's proud of each of you." She spoke softly. "After my mother left, it was just myself and my mother for the longest time. I really don't have many memories of my mother, nor do I remember what her physical form looked like." She said, then straightened her stance, remembering what her mother had told her, when she was in the shower.

Grey gave her a nod, "My mother loves us......and from that love, we can learn to love others as well. She's strong as well, and never lets me go a week without talking to her. She also helped prepare me for the real world, same with my father, but he was always critical of my decisions........" He placed an arm around Nijuu, "My eighteenth birthday's next week, and I don't know how to spend it.....and I have no idea what's going to happen........"

Nijuu looked at Grey, and smiled softly. "I'm sure there will be some kind of shin-dig happening." She said. "I've never really celebrated my birthday. I've been around for so long, that it was never anything I put any significance in."

"Shh...don't cry."
Mawthrough stroked her back and cradled her on the bed, letting her cry into his chest.
"Just calm down, Chastity. Listen."
He sighed, and wiped his own eyes, and was stunned when his hand came away wet.
It took a few seconds before he realized that he was crying, crying for this girl that he'd known and loved, and now forgotten, watching her heart break in front of him.
"Please stop crying," he whispered, feeling his tears run down his face and land in her hair.
"I forgive you. Please stop. I forgive you."

Inferno looked upward.
"Truth is, Ezekiel... I don't know. I don't know anymore. I'm so tired. So tired of this struggle. He's been hounding my thoughts for every waking moment for the last two years. I just know that I could never forgive myself if he hurt her. And as long as there's the possibility of him doing that, I can't tolerate the thought of her at his mercy."

Mawthrough shook his head, tears still falling.
"I don't know. I just... "
He hung his head.
"I just don't want to see you cry anymore. There's something about it that's wrong. Just... flat-out wrong. A face as beautiful as yours should never be marred by tears."
He kissed her lips, softly, tenderly.
"I want you. So badly. Your body is so desirable I can barely control myself sitting here. But I have respect. And pity."
He kissed her again.
"I forgive you. Now come here and bury your head in my chest again so you can cry yourself out without me having to see it. Please..."

Grey shrugged, "Eighteenth birthdays are some of the only ones celebrated by knights.....mainly cause.....that's when our powers become active........or.....usually would......I fear that day........my power is sealed.....but Zigera said that being near death breaks the seal........and I've been so near death lately......"

Ezekiel spoke aloud, "You have power brother, but I have the ability to judge without prejudice. Give the chance, and I will assure you, that I will either bring you positive news, or deadly positive news. But I will not interfere unless you ask." He felt the presence of a demon, but he kept his sword sheathed, hoping Inferno didn't sense him.

Nijuu placed her hand on Grey's face. "You don't have to worry about being close to death, when I'm around."

Amalia flew over the fields she had seen not too long ago, to make sure that the demons she had thrown to the ground learned their lesson.

Shrike was peacefully napping next to Lake Minerva, the bodies of several dozen demons piled all around him.

Grey looked away from her, "It might already be too late, and if that happens.......I'm afraid of what's going to happen.....that's why I came back here.......because if Genesis goes out of control.....I know my father and mother will be able to.....be able to end him......"

"End him?" Nijuu looked at Grey with a puzzled expression. "You mean 'kill him'....kill you?"

Amalia, spotted one of the demons she had thrown to the ground...clearly this demon did not take care to look for Amalia before terrorizing the humans on the farm. Amalia dropped like a stone to the ground, grabbing the demon's head, and throwing him into a nearby tree.
"Pathetic cur!" Amalia hissed at the demon, as she dropped her bag full of her belongs...mainly a blanket and a pillow...and held Frost in her hands.

Grey sighed, "If he goes berserk, they'll either have to kill me.....or force him out......I know he can leave my body......forcing him out may kill me just as easily as slicing my throat.....but at least one way, there's a chance for me to survive........I haven't feared again though.....not till now........"

Nijuu rose from the couch. "I can't accept that." She stated flatly, then looked at Grey with an expression of both fear, and confusion. "I don't understand this....I don't even know what to call it..." her voice trailed off as she spoke.

Grey didn't know what to say, so he simply asked, "What do you think I should do?"

Nijuu looked at Grey. "I think you should fight to live." She replied in as calm of a tone that she could muster.

Grey nodded, "That's something I will do....especially because I don't want to end up leaving you....not now.....I don't......." He didn't know what to say.

Nijuu tilted her head slightly. "You don't?"

Amalia charged at the demon, this time knocking him back on his feet, then picked him up and carried him over to the lake that she had be thrown it. She breath a small plume of ice on the demon, which encased his entire body except the leg she was holding on to. Then with a coy smile on her face, she dropped the ice cube of a demon.
