Shrike's hands shook, "To try and make me a cold, uncaring bastard.......if they leave you here......I don't think I could live with myself......"

Amalia turned to Shrike, looking as if she was about to cry, or hit something. "Why are they doing this? They said that you would place my life above all others...but I don't understand how you have done that..."

Minerva spoke aloud, "They believe in hypatheticals.......so here's one.....say you are destined to die, and ten attackers are there to kill you. None would have died if you died, however, Shrike could intervene with this fate, and as a result, ten lives would be lost for one. That's is the way of the reapers, and it is foolish."

Amalia turned slightly and folded her arms. "So they are constantly thinking of a future that may or may not happen?" She tilted her head slightly. "And they clearly don't know my lineage very well either," she added, as she moved her tail; "I'm the great grand daughter of an ancient Frost dragon, Vulthuryol. I carry his blood, as my father, and grand father had. I don't know everything that they did, since they are both dead...but he was the first to give his kin the ability to freeze our enemies to their souls...but the cost of this, is our anger...it slowly turns us into a dragon." She moved her tail again.

Shrike stood up, "Well, I'm not letting anyone anger you to that point, cause I like you just the way you....well....actually.....that tail looks pretty nice on you.....gives me some ideas......" He shook his head a second a later, "Dammit, I gotta focus on what to do right now......."

"I haven't exactly gotten used to the tail yet." Amalia said, then looked at Shrike. "We can do something about that later...we need to find away out of here."

Elsa threw on a silk robe and walked back into the washroom she noticed effro's slumped over. She gave hime a questioning look

She used the towel to dry the tip of her hair that were wet from it being in the water

Shrike crossed his arms, feeling stronger in the realm of hell, as the energies from the damned souls began to flow into his own, "I think I have a way.....to free us all......."

Amalia tilted her head. "How?" She asked, as a puzzled expression formed on her face.

Shrike continued to gather energy, "I can feed off of their souls......and with that energy, charge up my scythe. Its powerful, not me, and its bound to my soul, I'm going to break Minerva's chains......and she can create us a portal......"

Amalia looked at Minerva, then back to Shrike. "Okay." She nodded her head. "Do you need me to do anything?" She asked.

Shrike crossed his arms, "For now, just sit there and look pretty......its gonna be a while......this scythe needs to be strong enough to cut all those chains in one slice.....I don't want Minerva to suffer.......and I'm going to make sure she gets to see her son again....."

Amalia folded her arms. "Do you want me to freeze the chains in place so they won't cause her pain?" She asked, as she raised her brow slightly.

Minerva rose her arm, "That would be a rather bad idea dear......"

Amalia looked at Minerva with a puzzled expression. "Why?" She asked. "My frost and ice breath produces the same frost and ice here."

Minerva shook her head, "Lucifer will know what's happening........and he'll send other arch demons to stop you......."

"So I suppose, I'll just sit here and look pretty then." Amalia retorted, as she looked at Shrike, then back to Minerva. "I don't want to draw any more attention to us then needed."

Ezekiel kept quiet, as he felt something deep within himself, "Someone's about to piss off Lucifer......."

Shrike opened his eyes, as his scythe formed in his hands, and in fell swing, he cut loose all of Minerva's chains at once. The very moment his occured, nearly two arch demons approached their location. Minerva, despite her pain, had begun to weave a portal below their feet. Shrike stood in front of Amalia and Minerva, ready to hold off an assault from these beings.

"No." Amalia grabbed Shrike's hand, then grabbed Minerva's hand. "We go together." She said, then rushed to the portal before the arch demons could get to them.

Shrike and Amalia landed on the floor in the academy, their bodies having both been placed in Shrike's room, whilst Minerva landed on the one clean bed, though, since her body had materialized, her pain became magnified, as the chain links that remained inside of her were still causing her immense pain, as blood poured from her body onto the bed.

Amalia was relieved that they had all arrived back safely. She looked at Shrike. "We need to find something to stop the bleeding." She told him. "I'm not so sure it's wise to remove the chains, that might cause more pain." She looked at Minerva. "I could possibly cool one of these chains to help with the pain...but I'm not sure if that would work."

Minerva cried out in pain, "Just do what you think is best........I can't move......it hurts too much!!!" She cried.

Shrike looked down at her, unable to do anything, his mind in shock. Hell had numbed her senses, but having her body recreated had placed her back into a state of hell.
