Zigera stepped forward, "Well then, shall we begin our hunt?"

Shrike bought several more things for Minerva and Amalia, then opened up a portal out of the store. Upon arriving back at the academy, and putting Amalia's clothes away, Shrike walked with Amalia to the med center.

Kerri unfolded her arms. "I'll get the car." She said, then walked to the parking lot.
"I'm so glad you're joining us too, Zigera." Kari smiled.

Amalia looked at Shrike, as they walked. "I hope she likes what we got her." She said, with only a slight expression of concern,

Zigera shrugged, "I'll run along the car, if that's okay with you."

Shrike smiled, "Well, if she doesn't, you can blame it on me."

"I can't let you take all the blame, my love." Amalia spoke softly, as they walked to the med center.

Kari raised her brow slightly. "Uh....sure..." she said at length, with a puzzled expression on her face, as Kerri pulled up in a black four door car.
"Let's go!" Kerri shouted from the driver's seat.
Tynan motioned for Kari to get in the car, and smiled slightly.
Kari turned, and got into the car's backseat, while Tynan got into the passenger side.
"Where are we going first?" Tynan asked.
"My grandparents." Kerri replied, as she waited for Zigera to get in the car.
"Oh...Zigera's going to run along side of the car." Kari told her sister.
Kerri merely nodded her head in response, as she drove the car out of the city.

Minerva was hooked up to several machines, her body still mortal, for some strange reason. She was woozy from the medication, but could still look around, as she felt two presences enter the room. She smiled faintly. She was wearing a long, white robe, instead of her previously garb.

Zigera readied herself to sprint, then let loose, her shadow speed state easily keeping up with the moving vehicle, a black blur, and her demonic eyes the only thing people could see.

Amalia smiled faintly, seeing that Minerva was awake. "Good morning." She greeted Minerva. "I hope you're feeling better. We were quite worried."

Kerri tried to take no notice of the black blur running along side of the car; Kari on the other hand, couldn't take her eyes off Zigera running along side of the car.
"Amazing." Kari said with an expression of awe on her face.
Tynan chuckled and looked at Kerri. "How long does it take to get to your grand parents?" He asked.
"It's a three hour drive." Kerri replied promptly.

Zigera looked to them, her body covered in dark energies, "Three hours, that's too long......." She then used Oblivion's energy to lift the car up above her shoulders, to the dismay of the passengers, and ran faster.

Minerva smiled back, "I'd have rather died here.....then be tortured in hell......and now.....I can go find my son......"

Shrike shook his head, "Not until you are better, okay? You need that body of yours to be healthy."

Kari gasped at the sudden lifting of the car, while Kerri dug her fingers into the steering wheel.
Tynan held onto the dash board and looked out the window. "Maybe a little more warning next time; okay?"

Amalia smiled gently, as she walked closer to Minerva's bed. "In the meantime, Shrike and I got you a few things, I hope that you like them." She said.

Nijuu slowly began to stir awake, feeling the warmth of Grey behind her, and Livia's tiny form in front of her. She smiled warmly, and continued to lay in bed while they slept.

Zigera chuckled, "I think its funnier to do stuff without warning....."

Grey nuzzled Nijuu, "Good morning my love......"

Shrike handed her the clothing, which included the dresses, some shoes, and comfortable underwear. Minerva looked over them, and giggled, "You two are so nice....."

"I can see that." Tynan retorted to Zigera, then rolled up the window, before one of the twins could complain about their hair being messed up.

Nijuu looked over her shoulder to Grey, and smiled. "Good morning, love." She whispered, then looked at Livia. "She looks so peaceful."

Amalia smiled, relieved that Minerva liked what they had got for her.

"Why aren't you going to see her?" Inferno said curiously.
"I thought you'd be at her side non-stop. I mean, chances are she's in a heavily weakened state and if someone comes after her..."
Mordial nodded. "For once, I agree. At the very least, she'll be safer in your company than without."

Mawthrough took her hand and held it, and although he couldn't feel love, he felt... privileged.
"I'm fine. Just thinking about the whole thing."
He looked up at her, guiltily.
"I think you should know... there is a time limit on Inferno's spell. If I don't... change in a few days... the effect will be permanent." He looked away. "Sorry."

Darkion smirked, and slapped Rein on the booty.
"I like your style..."
They entered the library, students looking up at them in considerable alarm, and Darkion immediately brushed through them all looking through the texts.
"Come on, I know you're here somewhere..."

Ezekiel sighed, "Minerva will not want to see me, not after how I've been. Besides, the one who bears our child's soul is in the academy, if anyone touches her, he will know, and they will die. The Grimm is also there." He took a sip from his black flask, after taking it from his coat.

Grey nodded, "Yes, she does, its adorable." Livia turned in her sleep, and wrapped her arms around Nijuu's waist, clinging to her desperately. This caused Grey's eyes to become saddened. One soul within Grey was restless, wanting to move at this moment.

Minerva sat up, numerous more scars very evident on her body. "I can sense my child's soul in this place......"

Shrike had sensed it before, a soul that had been marked as a friend to the reapers, but he had not said anything.

Nijuu rested her hand gently on Livia's head. "It's okay Livia. Mommy and Daddy are both here." She whispered. "We have a gift for you too."

Amalia raised her brow slightly, as a puzzled expression formed on her face. "Really?" She asked.

Minerva nodded, "Even in this weakened state.......I can sense my child....."

Livia started to awaken, and looked at Nijuu curiously.

Amalia tilted her head slightly, then smiled. "It's a good thing; right?" She asked, as she looked from Minerva to Shrike.

Nijuu smiled warmly, as she showed Livia the charm she had shown Grey through the night. "This is something that my mother gave to me." She said, as she handed it to Livia. "The flower on this charm, is the same as she one on my neck." She turned and pointed to the four petaled flower on her neck. "But this charm was made by my mother, so it's potential to protect you is far greater than anything I could make for you." She said, as she looked at Livia. "If anyone who has evil in their soul comes too close to you..." she touched the flower, and it glowed...and from the flower sprang a barrier; "this barrier will keep them from you, and depending on how much evil is in that person's soul, it might hurt them." She touched the flower again, and the barrier disappeared. "Keep it close to your heart, okay?"

Livia nodded, "Okay mama........"

Shrike sighed, "Her son's soul is not the dominant one in the body."

Even more puzzled than she was before, she decided to sit down in a nearby chair. "I'm sorry...I don't understand what that means." Amalia spoke softly, feeling like she had missed something she should have known about.

Nijuu smiled warmly, and looked at Grey. "Hmm...are you okay, my love?" She asked him.

Grey nodded, "Yeah......I slept very well........and having you two next to me eases me.........."

Zigera continued to carry the car, the ground indenting under the ground.

Shrike looked her in the eyes, "I mean, if she talked to the one the soul was in the body of, she might not be able to communicate with her son."

Nijuu smiled warmly, as she looked down to Livia. "Are you hungry?" She asked her.

Tynan sat back in the seat, resting his head in his hands. He looked over at Kerri, whom had no expression on her face, then looked in the rear view mirror, seeing that Kari looked like she was going to be car sick. 'Hmm...I hope we get there soon.' He thought to himself.

Amalia looked at Minerva, then looked at Shrike. "So, even though you know your son's soul is here, you can't exactly speak to him?" She looked back to Minerva.

"You'll have to see her sometime," Inferno pointed out.
"And for her, I don't think any amount of protection would be enough if Michael gets pissed off enough. And if something happens to her, you would never forgive yourself."

Mawthrough returned her smile.
"Well, the thing is..."
He looked out of the window, suddenly feeling years younger.
"I think that, if I was going to choose anyone to fall in love with... I don't think I could do better than you."

Darkion responded by tweaking Rein's breasts, before darting behind a bookshelf.
"Here we go..."
He plucked down a tome and laid it out.
"AHA! This is it!"
He paused.
"Hmm... where did I... aha!"
He pulled out a paper and pencil and started copying down the decrepit cobwebbed page.

Ezekiel shook his head, "Michael wouldn't attack with Occidio nearby. Remember, when that boy was being trained, he made Michael bleed in a sparring match, few were able to do that, and all were arch angels. He's a slayer, just like me. And if his mother is endangered, he'll be there to protect. He was always there for her. I will go to her, however, if Michael himself steps into the mortal domain."

Livia nodded, "Yep, can we have cake again?"

Zigera leaped high into the air with the car on her back, as she and what she touched became weightless.

Minerva shook her head, "No, I cannot, and I don't want to cause pain to the one he resides in."
