Thera looked at Beelzenef, and shrugged her shoulders. "I suppose my parents thought I should get some worldly experience." She replied. "They never really gave me an explanation as to what I'm supposed to do." She added. "Our community is fairly small, and it's not unheard of, for someone my age going out like this." She looked at Beelzenef, as she tried to hold her wing still for the goblins.

"I see, well you are welcome to travel with myself and my warriors if you wish. Myself and my warriors here are searching for the Panther girl you were mistaken for earlier and destroy her." Beelzenef said

The goblins running back and forth between boxes nearby, making sure they did a proper job fixing Thera

He emerged from the shadows of the walls, the shadows puppeting him deciding now would be a good time.
"Trinity... it's me... it's Ty... I'm sorry... I'm free now, I'm so sorry for hurting you..."

He nodded, moving closer to her.
"I fought off the shadows... I'm back... I... does it really matter? I'm back..."

After countless training sessions Steve and Junko decided to search for their friends. Somebody matching Zerron's description was seen in the town of Tanzaku, so that was a good a place as any to start looking. The two teleported and found themselves on the roof of the town's blacksmith.

"Well at least this time you didn't get us stuck inside a tree like the last time." Junko said cheerfully as the wind blew through her long hair

"It makes a perfect place to look for someone, from here we should be able to see our friends." Steve said as he looked around

"Hey, isn't that Lucy from the wedding?" Junko said pointing towards the towns entrance.

"well then let's go say hi." Steve said as he swept Junko into his arms and jumped from rooftop to rooftop until they jumped towards the ground and landed directly in front of the new arrivals.

Zerron saw Ty walk out of the shadows, but something was off.
he stood there by trinity, being cautious of him. things didn't add up.
"ty, so you managed to fight off those shadows eh? "
his hand twitched slightly as his bracelet got hot.
It may have been possible for him, if the demon was young....but I'll watch him and trinity until I can confirm this.
"so trinity, want me to take you to that clothes shop to get you the right kind of clothes?"

Sean laughed a little as he saw Zerox, suprised that he was able to match him.
"I'm not sure if I want to kill you or not, but I wonder how far that drop off is through." sean kicked him off the edge of the drop off as his mind got currupted my this new power.
"now to find some old friends to play with." and with that, he vanished in a bolt of lightning...

His expression changed into a look of sorrow.
"I couldn't hit you though... I was being forced to... but I stopped.... I couldn't bring myself to hurt you..."
The sorrow was genuine - sorrow he couldn't have destroyed her earlier and spared all this sneaking around...

"If you don't mind me asking," Thera began, as she looked at Beelzenef; "what did this panther girl do?" She asked, as she moved the part of her wing that was not broken. Though it still hurt to move her wing, it felt more manageable now than before.

Varen walked with Lucy down the village's market square. He was deep in thought about the events the transpired not too long ago, and about Ty and Trinity's situation. They were in a bad way... I could have helped them... Instead I dragged my feet. He also remembered the joke he made a while ago. Never before had he felt bad about saying something. The whole situation on top of trying to remember what happened while he was fighting Ty just depressed him. He didn't even feel like stealing anything from the merchants' tables.

Varen looked over at Lucy beside him, seeing her there actually made him smile. "Hey... Do you see anything you want here?" He asked. He didn't know why he asked it, he just felt that hearing her voice would make him feel even better.

"That woman as you can see bit off my arm. When i find her, the honor of destroying her will be mine alone." Beelzenef said

one of the goblins approached Beelzenef's side and said in goblinish "Fa'ja tuha fryd fa lyh vun dra Bird girl, ec drana yhodrehk amca fa lyh tu vun oui Lord Beelzenef? Ymcu fa nalaejat funt dryd dra kupmeh amtanc fecr du ryja y yiteahla fedr oui."

Beelzenef nodded his head before saying to Thera "Well i apologize, but something has come up. The elders wish to talk with me about something, and it's something i've been putting off. The medics did what they could about your wing, just let it rest for a bit. I must be heading back to our underground home, so i'm afraid i won't be able to join you on your quest of self discovery." Beelzenef said as he walked over to a savage looking tiger that had walked into the clearing

He gave a smile, then hugged her close to his chest.
"I've... missed you too..."
Even the words tasted foul in his mouth, but he said them anyway, forcing himself to smile. He kissed her head, and she tasted horrible.
The shadows could not wait for the chance to tear her apart...

"Sure, sure..."
She suspected something.
He gave her a smile, trying to imitate the host's pathetic grin.
"I'll buy it if you want..."
She even attempted to attack him or warn the others, he'd rip her to pieces...

Inside Trinity's coat where she'd placed it, the ring Tyrcestus had given her, the real one, started to glow brighter and brighter, the crimson flames starting to peek out the pocket...

His eyes widened upon seeing the ring - and he knew, instantly, what the mind this body had previously hosted had done.
He moved beside her, placing a hand on her shoulder as they walked.
"Of course, of course..."

The ring seemed to surround Trinity's hand in harmless crimson fire, dancing and crackling merrily in the light, reflecting off her eyes...

Varen smiled back at Lucy.
"That's a good principle to live by." He said, just as he remembered his pack back at the inn, filled with things he'd stolen.
"...One I don't live by as much as I probably should." He chuckled, feeling a bit better after hearing her laugh.
"Oh, and umm..." He was going to ask her something, but he all of a sudden feltvery nervous asking it, he couldn't very well understand why. "... Since yesterday was so crazy... I was wondering i-if you'd... like to join me for dinner... again? I-if you want to, of course."
His mouth felt dry, he was shaking a little. He was utterly confused as to what was happening to him. But, all he cared to know at that moment, was her answer.
