"Everything alright, my love?" he simpered, knowing every compliment he gave her was a killing blow to Tyrcestus...

The ring remained blazing as usual, only it seemed to get a little hotter on her hand in reponse to Ty's words...

He followed them, giving a quiet chuckle. "I'm fine... just glad to be by your side again..."

The ring seemed to dull slightly, the flames dimming a little...

*Steve and Junko teleported into the garden of the kings castle*

"Do you think it was proper to teleport straight inside the castle?" Junko asked

"I'm sure it will be fine, he sent that messenger to have us return here." Steve said sitting down on a stone bench

Varen was intrigued by Lucy's response.
"A quest?" he asked, looking back at Lucy.
"What quest did they have you all do last time?"

He smiled, right back, despite it making him want to kill her all the more.
"Good to be back. I love you..."

The ring glowed in Trinity's hand - and at his words began to shudder slightly, as though something inside it was starting to cry with helplessness...

"Hmmm..." Varen thought for a moment with a snide grin on his face.
"How much did this quest pay?" He asked.

He shrugged, and the ring in her hand was now growing colder and colder the moment the words "I love you too" left Trinity's lips...

"I just... I just fought off the shadows. Wasn't so hard once I really summoned up my energy..."

When Ayase punched Ty, his teeth gritted and he resisted the urge to smite the bitch into dust.

Also, when she punched him, the ring suddenly flared back into life as if revived by Ayase's fighting spirit...

"I think whatever the demon did to me must have patched my soul up. Look, does it really matter?" he snapped. "The point is, I'm here now, and I'm with you."

Oh, I'm going to tear that impostor apart if Ty doesn't do it first...

Ayase. You. Are. Brilliant. I want to kiss you so hard - but, even now, you're still thinking of our bet, aren't you?

He frowned, suppressing a growl.
Very well then... if that's the way they wanted to play...
He shook his head, and moved up next to Trinity, close enough to snap her neck, and looked at Ayase with an expression that said very plainly that Trinity's continued existence depended entirely on her cooperation.

"And what, pray tell, are you going to do if I refuse to such a ridiculous dare..?"

The ring seemed to buzz angrily at his closeness to Trinity...

He heard the challenge in her words, and moved away from Trinity, towards Ayase, black flames curling up where Trinity couldn't see them as she was still walking away.

"You really want to fight me?"

An instant later, Ayase glowed red, a crimson aura surrounding her.
Before you fight, there are three things you should know.
First, she's one of the only fighters that Tyrcestus was afraid of. And you have all his power, so you know how strong he was. Let the fact that he feared her sink in for a second.
Secondly, you won't just be fighting her, you'll be fighting me as well - and I am NOT IN THE MOOD right now.
And thirdly, but most importantly?
If you so much as bruise her, I will squeeze you into a bloodied pulp.

He let out a disdainful hmph, then turned back to Trinity.
"You're not worth the time to spend... I mean, all you want to do is fight," he corrected himself hurriedly...
