"Everyone else seemed rather excited about the quest as well."

He nodded.

Ty was so caught up in thoughts of bloodshed he initially missed Trinity and Ayase leave, and he hurried out after them, hoping the girl was going to spill the beans on him so he could spill their blood...

The ring let flames curl around her fingers like someone was kissing them, one by one...

Grr... I hope that those shadows get purged from reality itself- sorry, Ayase, I'll calm down...sorry my love...

Varen blinked at what Lucy had said before looking back at her, his eyes meeting her beautiful smile.
"Yea. That would be great. I-I'd like that." He replied, smiling back.
He saw the others get up and start heading for the door.
"Looks like the others are ready to go. Shall we head out as well?" He asked Lucy.

Varen stood up as well and began to think about Lucy's inquiry.
"Hmm... try to slip away from it... If we can." He answered.
"We don't know just how powerful it is yet. And if finding these artifacts is the best way to stop it, we should focus on that."
He began walking toward the doorway where the rest of the group was waiting before turning to Lucy.
"Come on." He said, smiling.

Ty was about to walk out into the corridor when the door glowed red and magically slammed on his face, sending him toppling backwards.

After that door stunt, Martyris wasted no time, and glided straight into Trinity's head.

Listen very closely, and whatever you do -WHATEVER YOU DO - don't. React.
It's not Ty in that body - it's some sort of twisted mind game.
The real Ty's in your ring - or his ring - protecting you, as best he can...
Now, three things.
One - Don't let Ty get near you again.
Two - Don't ever let go of that ring, not even while you sleep.
And three - and this is the one that's going to hurt the most - you've got to keep acting like it's the real Ty; if you don't and he realises you know, he'll kill you and not even we could stop him in time.

The ring gave a gentle warm pulse through her body...

Ty got up again, fuming, now walking towards the door with an angry look on his face...

I... I don't know, Trinity. If we fight him, well - that's Ty's body. If we destroy it, there might not be any way for Tyrcestus to return. And we may not even win - he's so strong... but if you think he knows, then run, because if he even suspects you know, he'll kill you on sight...

The ring flamed brightly, as if trying to reassure her, comfort her, be there for her...

He finally stormed through the door, uncertain what had transpired...

The ring let warmth creep up her arm like a line of kisses...

Martyris didn't dare move from Trinity, in case Ty noticed and decided his cover was blown...

The ring seemed to cool, still flaming, but a nice pleasant temperature as it nestled in her chest.

He growled.
"Damned door hit me in the face..." He glared at Ayase, but she didn't glow red.
Odd...

He looked closer and moved closer to Trinity.
"Everything alright... my love?" he smiled... waiting for a single flicker of red and then he'd tear her apart...

Martyris growled, anger building, but kept it cool.
Remember. Normal... normal as you can... for him...

Varen held back his laughter after seeing Ty get hit with the door on his way out, almost bursting into tears.
"Yeah, are you alright, Ty?" He said as he followed the group.

He resisted the urge to slap her and Lucy to wipe the smirk of Varen's face.
"I had a door slammed into my face, of course it hurt!" he snapped...

Martyris was starting to get really cross with the situation, but still he held his tongue...
