The king cleared his throat and started to talk again,
"There have been rumors of a demon horseman who rides through the night collecting sacred artifacts... I want you to collect these artifacts before he can..." |

| Junko Dragged Steve towards the table and together they sat down. As they heard the kings new quest Steve couldn't help but tense up. More demons causing more chaos is bad enough, but what worried him was why the demon was searching for these artifacts.
"Excuse me your highness, do we know what the horseman intents to do with these artifacts?" Steve asked |

| Junko, who heard Trinity talking to Ty looked at the man's face. She tapped Steve on the shoulder which made him turn to his girlfriend. As casually as she could she tapped the temple of her head, indicating that she wanted a private conversation with him. Steve turned his attention back to the king and queen, but began to chat privately with Junko. |

| Varen listened quietly to the King explain the task that has been set before them. Still a bit in shock about being in the royal castle. About meeting the king and queen themselves. He then began to think about the quest, the dangers ahead, and the reward to be received. Knighthood and a wish, eh? I guess I could make that work.
He looked over at Lucy, seated next to him. She seemed much more beautiful to him then she normally did today, he didn't know why. He didn't care why. A small smile tugged across his face. He wondered what she thought of all this, but his nervousness turned him into an overly-chivalrous dolt. He didn't want to be rude to the King and Queen, so he waited to speak until they were finished and all questions were answered .He looked away and began to play around with his fork as he continued to listen, sneaking small glances at Lucy as he did. |

"In the orphanage, I had heard amazing stories about the King and Queen, and the castle. And none of it disappoints." He looked all around him in silent amazement. "It's like nothing I've ever seen before... As for the quest. I think it'll be fun. It's been a while since I've done anything productive and adventurous."
