A lonely block of ice floated across the ocean, not far from the ship. The slowly dimming light refracted on its surface making it glow a multitude of colours.
Crystal did not stir nor let out more than the occasional soft breath as she lay sprawled across the ice, her long hair spread around her head like a fan.

He kissed the top of her head again.
"I've died more than any other person on the planet. I've also then come back to life. Over and over again. And every time I've come back it's like I left something behind. I can't feel hope, I can't feel fear, I can't feel sleepy or curious or cheeky. Just love, and anger, and sadness."

Then he looked over at Ayase's happy face. "Good for you, I suppose..."

Martyris flickered out of Ayase inside him again.

Martyris spoke out loud to Trinity.
"Do you mind if I... do something pretty dramatic to Ty? It might fix him. Might."

trinity thought for a moment about martyris question
"it wont hurt him will it? as long as it wont hurt him i guess its ok"

"Alright..."

Tyrcestus kissed Trinity once more, then stepped back.

"Martyris... do your thing."

There was a blinding flash of light, red light, so blinding it completely masked Tyrcestus from view, causing Ayase and Trinity to throw their hands over their eyes.

When the light cleared, Tyrcestus was gone - but there was a clunk as someone slipped below deck, trying and failing not to be heard.

Oh dear... I hope I did that right... get after him, would you? said Martyris inside Trinity's head...

trinity started running towards ty
"what did you do to him?"

Trinity entered the hold - then Martyris made her turn around towards a sudden twanging.

Sitting on a crate, happily twanging a rope, was a happy-looking boy, not even in his teens, wearing clothes that were miles too big for him, apparently having the time of his life.

"Hello!" he said brightly, and continued twanging the rope.

Ah... it appears I may have... as you say... messed up a bit.

The boy got off the crate, and almost danced up to Trinity.
"You're pretty," he said, smiling, then gave her a massive hug.

Oh dear, I HAVE messed up... I may have ever so slightly regressed his memories as well as his age... he doesn't remember you. He still loves you - no magic can stop that - but now he can't remember why...

trinity hesitated a moment when the boy hugged her but she hugged him back
"how long will he be like this ?"

Like I said, twenty four hours... but hopefully, he'll be back to his usual self in no time after that.

The boy let out a little murmur of contentment, obviously feeling happy in Trinity's arms.

"I'm Tyrces - Tyrcest - ah - I'm Ty," he managed, still cuddling her.
Then he looked up at her.
"Are you an angel, pretty lady?" he asked in slight awe mixed with adoration, looking deep into her eyes with innocent ones of his own...

trinity nodded then looked at ty
"my name is trinity, thank ou for the compliment"
she smiled then heard the thump
"what was that?"

"I don't know! Let's see!"
Seized by a sudden excitement, he grabbed her hand and tried to drag her up to the deck again.

I apologize... though he is kinda sweet..almost lovable...

trinity walked over toward the sound and looked over the side of the ship
"what is that, we need to get it out of the water"

Steve and Junko came over to see what Trinity and Ty were looking at

"OOH! It's another pretty lady!"
Tyrcestus let out a little laugh and looked down at Crystal.

"I think she needs to be stop being in the sea."

He seemed to hop from foot to foot. not letting go of Trinity's hand, but wanting to jump in the sea and save the lady at the same time...

He let go of Trinity's hand in a nanosecond and wandered up to Orran, his attention span microscopic compared to his boundless curiosity.
"Hello mister."
Then he wrinkled his nose, and looked puzzled.

"Why do you stink so bad when there's so much water you can take a bath in, mister?" he said, looking up at him innocently.

He blinked.
Then he laughed, and gave Orran a big hug around the waist, clinging on tight.
"Hee-hee-hee... you're funny, smelly man. I'm gonna call you Mr Stinky."
