Mawthrough smirked, then kissed the top of her head.
"That's my queen."

The underside of the ship began to glow as a white energy seemed to charge up - and Mawthrough laughed.
"Sorry, I need the energy boost - that and you'll enjoy it..."

With his right hand a sphere of energy exploded into existence, growing and growing until it was twice Mawthrough's size.
The ship fired, and Mawthrough squeezed his lover's chest - and the energy sphere doubled in size, becoming huge and pulsing with power.
He hurled it, and the two energies exploded in the air...

He looked back at Chastity, smirking, his hand still on her chest.
"Hope you don't mind, my queen..."

Occidio was still in a coma, back in the company labs, Minerva however, wasn't. She came upon the site of a massive Celestial ship exploding, and flew high into the air, her massive wings nearly blotting out the sun, her power nearing the levels of Lucifer, her beauty, despite the scars, radiating off of her. She flew up toward one of the ships and stopped, holding out her arms, "STOP THIS!!!!"

Grey gave Serenity a gentle kiss on the brow, and held her close, "Without you....I'd be dead......and if I'd never have met you.....I'd have been a slave to all those minds in my head until the day I died............"

He smirked. Then as the other ships surrounded them, he stepped behind Chastity, pressing his body into her back, his hands encircling her.
"My powers are nothing unless they're focused... brought through a source, brought through you... my love..."

A ship came in low on their right and began to charge it's weapons, and Mawthrough simply pressed himself into her more and licked up her neck. As his tongue traced up her skin dark lightning flew from his hands and destroyed it near effortlessly.
Two more came from the left, started charging - and Mawthrough squeezed his lover's chest with both hands, one each. Lightning flew from his eyes and the ships were dust.
He rocked her slightly, still squeezing.
"This enough excitement...slave...?" he moaned in her ear, chuckling slightly.
"I think you enjoy it when I fight like this..."

The ship confronting Minerva simply opened fire with all batteries, only to discover the power of the being it was facing. A second later, all the ships were silent, waiting for the hybrid and the angel to make a move...

Minerva, despite her power, was launched backwards, past Mawthough, and into the ground, her body battered from the bullets and cannon fire. She stood up, and her voice rang out in pain, "Stop the violence......please..........." She flew back up, acting as a shield for Mawthough and Chastity.

The lead ship opened fire for a second time - and Mawthrough tilted Chastity around and kissed her.

Lightning ripped out of nowhere, completely and totally shielding them, Minerva included, from their attacks. Then Mawthrough broke the kiss and shouted up to the ships, his voice booming just as loud as the angel's had done.

"Leave, or perish."

And an instant later, the ships vanished from existence. Mawthrough chuckled, still holding Chastity in his arms. Then he looked up at Minerva.
"You alright? Sorry about that..."

serenity lays her head against his shoulder
"well im glad i was able to help you my love. and i will remain by your side forever"

chastity was breathing heavily from the excitement he was causing her, from him licking her neck to him moaning in her ear
"i didnt know you could fight like that"
she smirked
"i enjoyed it"

Livia spun a metal string around her fingers, "That is bad......hmm.....well.....she should talk to my mom and dad sometime, they could instruct and offer some advice to her.........."

Minerva turned around, a gaping hole in her abdomen. "I'll be....fine.....Occidio wouldn't want you two to be hurt....and I didn't want to see Occidio sad.....but I also didn't want to hurt them either............."

"Not wanting to hurt people is a very good thing. As you can see..."
He stroked Chastity's rear, and pointed a glowing finger at Minerva - and a bolt of energy started at Chastity's rear, traveled up his body, out of his finger and into Minerva, healing her wound instantly. He knew he didn't really need to do it, but any reason to touch Chastity was fine by him.
"...I'm more a lover than a fighter."
He kissed Chastity's cheek then whispered passionately in her ear.
"I'm betting you enjoyed it, you little innocent minx... and the first thing I'm going to do after all this is over is make a bathtub for us large enough to swim in. Then I'm going to make you scream so loud God can hear it..."

He looked back at Minerva. "How is Occidio? He alright?"

Minerva's eyes were toward the ground, "Those chain strikes he took.....they placed him in a coma....both in body and soul..............."

Minerva crosses her arms, "He simply doesn't trust in the nature of others, and sometimes, my son is correct......." She looked to the lich, "But sometimes, he is also wrong........" She looked to Mawthough and Chastity.

Grey held his wife's hand with his, "And that is all I ask......"

serenity looked up at her husband
"so what would you like to do, im sure your pretty exhausted from everything, would you like me to make you something to eat, just tell me what you are hungry for and ill make it for you"

Grey stands up, helping her up to, "How about.......you surprise me?"

serenity nods
"i believe i can do that i think i have an idea what to make you"
she smiled
"if you to was up while i cook that is fine with me, unless you want to eat and we can enjoy one together"

Grey looks upon the sky, "I actually feel like sitting up here for a while longer....the sky is....beautiful tonight..........."

serenity nods
"ok my love if thats what you want to do"
she paused for a moment
" would you like me to stay with you?"

Grey nods, "That would be wonderful..........."

serenity sits back down and looked up at the sky
"it is beautiful, i can see why you want to stay up here"

Grey nods, "The sky is what I long for at times......but....then I remember......I have you....and everyone else on the ground enjoy this life with..........."

serenity continue looking at the sky remembering the first time she flew in the air with him, the same night jessenda embarrassed her about knowing what they had done afterward
she smiled at the memories
"do you remember what i told you the first time i took you in the sky with me?"

Grey looked at her and sighed, "I'm afraid not........sorry..........."

she shook her head
"its fine my love, i told you that if you ever wanted to be in the sky all you ever had to do was ask and i would take you"
she looked at him
"so much has changed since that day hasnt it? i mean look at us now, we are happily married, an amazing daughter, wonderful family, we got to see my mother more then once, and even got to see my father at our wedding, i have gained soo much since then, and the best part about it is, i got to share it with the love of my life, my husband, you"
she smiled

"Hello, lich. How are things?"
He turned back to Minerva.
"How can we help?"
