Grey turned, "Stay there! I'm getting Mawthough to you.....if you move in your condition, you'll be dragged in with us....." He struggled to pull Mawthough backwards.

"Hahahaha..."
Mawthrough managed, with Grey's help, to keep his footing and rise to his feet at the same time.
"Little boy, eh... guess that makes you an old man... and since when do I ever bluff? I mean every word I say, as evidenced... when I blew your head off..."
He met Genesis's eyes.
"And to say you've proven your worth just shows how arrogant you really are... no-one can ever truly prove their worth to themselves, because that's only allowed for lazy stupid people."
He gave a weak derisive laugh.
"Lazy stupid old man... suits you..."

At that moment, Genesis sends forth a wave of corrupted, deadly energy toward Mawthough, aimed for his neck to take his head off, only for Grey to throw him back, and take the blast, though he was hit in the torso, a gash, one centimeter across cutting him. Genesis launched another blast toward him, and instead of dodging, Grey gripped his chest, right over his heart, "Not again.....my heart......." He took the entire blast, and hit the ground, remaining silent afterward, his body slowly drawn toward the void.

He grabbed Grey as he slid forwards, and dug his feet in, holding on with all of his might and his wings flapping furiously to avoid the Void's pull.
"Touch a nerve, huh..."

He thought of Chastity, and the thought gave him strength - he began to fly back, escaping the pull despite the extra load...

Out of nowhere, Caelestis flew past Mawthough, closelining him with her arm as she did, while flying up and away from the void.

He was slammed through the air, almost dropping Grey but refusing to do so out of principle.
He landed on his knees again -even closer to the void than before.
"Damn you..." he muttered to no-one in particular as his wings started flapping again, trying to get them away...

Genesis waved his hand, and the lifeblade changed itself, this time into a gunblade. With it, he fired several large rounds toward Mawthough's wings.

"THAT'S NO FAIIRAAAAHHHH!!"

He hit the ground in agony, his wings in bloodied tatters, being helplessly dragged towards the portal again.
He twisted, placed Grey behind him and dug his one good hand into the floor, anchoring them both, holding them still as the Void tore at them...

Genesis slowly walked forward, until he could place a hand on both Grey's neck, and Mawthough's, holding them both in the air, "Fair is fair in battle I say......" He lifted Mawthough into the air, and tossed him toward the void.

OOT- A request, no more power-ups for people, please, if that's what the void is leading to.

He landed, rolled - then barely stabbed the ground with his claws as the void lapped at his feet.

This is what comes of playing the hero...

He looked up at Grey, at Genesis, then at Chastity who was still pinned.

He shut his eyes.
Come on Grey... you can come back... or this is not going to have a happy ending no matter what happens...

Grey opened his eyes, and painfully slammed his knee into Genesis' ribs, getting himself dropped onto the ground, and slowly dragged toward the void. He summoned up a set of chains to help Mawthough keep away from it, and climb away, but he himself was helpless. "I can't lose control again.....not again....I won't use the entities......" He was slowly dragged toward the void, incapable of holding his footing for long, "Damn that Lich!!!"

He could only hang on and watch.
"Thank you Grey," he said softly...
He felt he had to try SOMETHING and stuck out his broken hand, hoping he'd grab onto it.
It would hurt, but at least it would be something done...

At this time, Grey's close his eyes, and held his hands over his face. His body became covered in what appeared to be bio armor. This time, it was glowing bright red, just like when he was possessed by Genesis. He stopped in his tracks, only heavy breathing from underneath the smooth helmet could be heard.

He looked at Grey and knew that things were about to kick off... and he wanted to be home, safe, with his woman...

He heard her call his name and he looked up - and his face broke into a smile of things he still needed to do - like get her pregnant, for one...

That thought started off a flood of mental images, and the next thing he could feel was his hand healing itself to the point where it was almost no longer broken...

At which point he saw the blood on her chin and his roaring demon instincts took care of the rest, painfully forcing his hand back into usability and sending him climbing up the chains, gaining enough lust-and-rage-born strength to break Chastity's bonds then carry her out of the pull zone, his wings still destroyed, useless, dripping blood...

Grey used his left hand to open a white portal in front of Mawthough, "You two, go through that portal, it'll take you to my wife, she can heal you.......I have........some vengeance to enact........" At this time, Nusquam, Ignis and Caelestis circled around Grey, ready to tear him apart, "If i don't make it.....tell Serenity.....I'm sorry.........." He opened his palm, causing Midnight to fly into his hand, forcing Chastity into Mawthough's arms, and pushing him partially into the portal that led to Grey's personal realm of safety.

Arron fired a few more rounds through the smoke screen and managed to send a couple of green lit rounds towards Genisis, tring to help grey and Mawthough.
As he fired his rifle, he relized that Nihil was right above him as he turned around, holding his rifle in front of him.

Genesis noticed the blasts, and blocked with the life blade, while Nihil impaled himself on the rifle, past the point of where the rounds could harm him, and slammed his scythe blade into Arron's chest.

Arron smiled a little as he reaches into his jacket as Nihil scythe blade was slammed into him.
he drew out his desert eagle and fired a coupe of charged rounds into him. he kicked him off his SR-25 and grabbed his fighting knife out of him as he flew higher up. his wound slowly healed with light surrounding the wound.

Nihil stayed still within the air as he reached out, and summoned a chain. At this time, the soul cannon appeared once again within the skies, and prepared to fire.

He started to aim towards Nihil then he saw him grab a chain. next thing he relizes is the soul cannon appearing in the sky.
he sent a wall of charged bullets at Nihil as he tried to figure out what to do next...

OT....goodness...I really regret not taking my laptop with me when I went to my Aunt's...lol

Nihil's body let several bullets pass through his body, while others damaged his flesh, and continued charging the cannon, for it would harm all but a wielder of it, keeping the man in the blast range of it would be a kill for him.

Nijuu left in search of Tynan...though more than a little embarrassed that Livia could read the two of them so well.
She walked around the parts of the building where Tynan and herself had been it...she thought it would be unlikely that Tynan would venture anywhere in the building where he would think he would be unwelcome. It was not long before she found him...now fully clothed.
"Tynan?!" Nijuu spoke softly.
Tynan turned around and smiled faintly at Nijuu. "Yes?" He retorted.
Nijuu walked up to Tynan, standing in front of him. She bowed her head slightly. "I'm sorry for the way I treated you the other night." She said. "I really should have been more thoughtful."
Tynan continued to smile faintly, as he said: "You can say whatever you like, Nijuu." As he spoke, he gently lifted Nijuu's chin, so that she would be looking at him. "You know what my nature is....sometimes, I need to be scolded."
Nijuu smiled warmly.

He realized what that cannon was capable of and started to fly out of it's range as fast as he could.
"Crap, why does he get to bring that thing in?"
