"Well I'll keep that in mind if I ever have the notion to dig my claws in your neck." Cereza retorted.

Nijuu dropped to Tynan's side. "Are you hurt?" She asked him.
"Just my pride." Tynan replied, as he sat up, rubbing his neck.
"What's her problem with you?" Nijuu asked. "Why does she not like the two of us together?" She added.
Tynan looked at Nijuu. "It's because you're human..and I'm a half blood Fire Dire Wolf." He replied.
A puzzled expression formed on Nijuu's face. "Is it because of the mark on your chest?" She asked.
"Partly." Tynan replied, as he looked at Nijuu. "I wouldn't worry too much about it." He instructed. "There's nothing she can do about it now."

Kye chuckled, "Anytime Cereza, any time, so, where do you plan to go now?"

Cereza stopped her movement, and folded her arms. "As far away from that mongrel as possible." She replied.

Kye opened his hand, and as he did, a portal of flame appeared, "I have a place in mind, if you wish to enter it........hehehehe?"

Cereza looked as his hand, then looked at him. "I'm not going to fall on anyone; am I?" She asked.

Kye chuckled, "No, but you may hit some molten rocks if you go through the wrong way, heehehehe, luckily you won't be affected by it........" He stepped toward the portal.

Cereza unfolded her arms, as her tail flicked. "Anywhere is better than here, I suppose." She said, as she took his hand.

Kye and Cereza went through the portal, both landing roughly on the hardened ground of Velcana. "This is volcano country, gotta love it here, lots of heat, lots of things to fight, and lots of ways to get your anger out........"

Cereza straightened her stance, as her tail continued to flick. "You don't know too much about Fire Dire Wolves...do you?" She commented, as she folded her arms. "I am in no danger of going into a rage....that's a trait exclusive to those wolves whom can set their fur ablaze."

Kye titled his head, then sat down in what appeared to be a crater, "Please do tell, I so love to hear about your kind, its pretty interesting actually......"

Cereza raised her brow. "I can only speak for my pack." She replied. "All other packs are different, and thus, they are different from me." She added. "But first, I would have your name, since you have mine."

Kye placed his hands together, cracking his knuckles as he did, "My name is Kye Mystic, and okay, I'd be glad to hear about your tribe."

"Well, Kye, first off...it's pack." Cereza corrected him, as she sat down...sitting on her knees. "And as I said, all packs are run differently. How my pack is run, may not be the same for another." She repeated, as she placed her damaged swords in front of her. "In my pack, the female whom cannot go into a rage is valued highly, and in most cases becomes the next Alpha if the current Alpha should perish." As she spoke her ears twitched, and moved forward. "My pack is rather large...however, we are not large enough to require more than one Alpha." She looked at Kye. "And before you ask about the half blood....the half blood in my pack is needed to put down those whom go into a rage and cannot get out of it." She said, as her dull yellow eyes locked onto his. "The half blood is the only one in my pack that has two forms...the form of a wolf and the form of its impure parent...with its demonic power sealed in a weapon. Which in this case, happens to be two guns." As she spoke, she pulled the cloth from her damaged blades. "The half blood is still capable of going into a rage....but only while in its wolf form...since going into a rage requires demonic power." Her eyes moved back to Kye. "I cannot go into a rage, since I lack the ability to set my fur ablaze...a recessive gene in my pack...but a desired gene nonetheless."

Kye held a hand under his chin, "Interesting, well, with us knights, we are all born with at least two abilities, inert regeneration, and upon maturity, we remain immortal agewise, and many of us gain different abilities, I gained fire.....which is a trait in my family, though I was arrogant, entered Valveria, and got myself infected with the hellhound disease, well, I see it as a disease, they saw it as a damn gift.......we're always plagued with rage, but the stronger our wills, the easier it is to contain it. I used my power to help bring down Revlon, an arch angel who had been captured and turned into the leader of beasts.....he was just another victim........."

Cereza looked at Kye. "Well, he can't think that he's a victim if he's leading them." She said. "All beasts seek to either lead or follow. Those whom lead, need to keep those whom follow in line. If they do not have the strength, ability, or will to keep power, they'll lose it to the next who wants it." She said. "Even my position to be the next Alpha is not certain."

Kye shrugged, "You all have your wills, he didn't, he had his sealed until the day he died.......but I can understand your words, I choose to be a loner, because that way, the only life I'm responsible for is my own, so I can sleep easy.....my brother, took a different path.......and it haunts him every night........."

"K...k...kyaahh..."
Mawthrough's hands twitched feebly, blood dripping from his mouth.
"Ch...ch...chas..."
He coughed, sending his blood spraying onto her clothes and wings. He looked up into her eyes with the last of his strength.
He managed to force his mouth into coherence long enough to give her one last kiss, tender, yet weak, all too weak...

"I..." he started to say....

Then his eyes closed.
His head fell forwards onto Chastity's neck, his last breath leaving his lungs.
His body went limp, and as the broadsword vanished from his body, he fell off her, onto the floor, covered in his own blood finally vanquished.

He said no more. His lungs took no more breath. His heart lay still.
He was gone.

Minerva, who had been standing in the room, watching the slaughter of the poor hybrid, spoke a silent prayer for him, all the while giving Inferno a set of dead eyes.

Minerva slowly walked toward Inferno, "Why is it you are so against a union between one of celestial blood, and one of demonic blood Inferno, why are you so against change, when you yourself are the rebel arch angel?"

Minerva continued to approach, "Not all demons are bad, and not all Celestials are good, not everyone is stuck on a set path, you know this, you've seen it. My son, he was brought up in so many different ways that his mind was shattered on the inside, yet he maintained himself, and through love, he kept himself from the purest darkness, and he has sullied his hands many, many times, so why not this demon, what is wrong with him being given a chance. Nothing, that's the correct answer Inferno." She had sad eyes now. "Love only comes once for someone, truest love......don't deprive your daughter of it......"
