Minvera continued to approach, "If Genesis were to have a child, if it were to be open to change, to not being like its parent, I would show it the courtesy the child would deserve, and my son only did so, because he wanted to save others from having to do what he was doing....and I know true love exists, my son found it........even if it was brief, he found it, my great grand child found it............many of my great grand children have found true love........why must you be blind, did you not find someone you love in this mortal realm, someone to have a child with, love is everywhere.......even I found love........we were forced to hide our true feelings in order to keep Michael from finding out.....but Ezekiel and I.........our hearts belong to one another, though Ezekiel's allegiance is bound to the heavens, his heart and soul are bound to me, as mine are bound to his........."

Cereza looked at Kye, and raised her brow slightly. "Is that not a lonely way to live?" She asked. "I could not imagine my life without my pack....responsibility is a part of living...it's how you carry yourself, and how you manage your responsibility that makes life interesting."

Kye looks to the sky as he raises a fist up to his face. A moment later, his arm bulges unnaturally, as if three extra layers of muscle had been built into it, before it receeded. "Being alone is tough, but its given me a chance to learn to control this anger, and this power of mine.....I no longer have to worry about trying to consume my family members, and friends.....and when men try to hunt me, I show them what its like to be hunted.........."

Cereza sat back, stretching out her legs, as she rested back on the palms of her hands. "I suppose so." She thought out loud, then looked at Kye. "I don't suppose you get hunted that often."

Kye chuckled, "Actually........." He lifted up the bottom of his shirt to reveal numerous blade and bullet scars, and pointed to the scar on his neck, "I've been hunted quite often.........."

Cereza looked at the scars, then looked up at the sky. "You're a popular one I see." She commented.

Minerva smiled, "Alright........."

Kye chuckled, "Yeah.....people see a hellhound and they bring out the pitchforks and torches............."

Cereza couldn't help but chuckle quietly. "How medieval." She said. "That's almost the same reception my pack gets on occasion."

Kye chuckles a bit, "Fun, hehehe......humans are such annoying creatures at time............."

He gritted his teeth.
"Don't push your luck," he growled, and flicked his hand.

Dark energy flowed out of him and into Mawthrough - and at the same instant, a thunderous noise filled the air.

As all Mawthrough's power flowed back into him, restoring him to the land of the living, three things happened in quick succession.
First, a portal opened in the air, and hawked up a stunned queen of hell and a bruised and bloody Eros - hilariously wearing a full on bondage leather outfit - onto the ground, as every act Mawthrough had magically done undid itself to add to the resurrection.

Second, the thundering noise became recognizable as the sound of paper tearing, as something inside Chastity felt like it was splitting itself in half, something important and powerful.
And thirdly, Mawthrough's eyes opened, and he sat up.

At the thunderous noise, Inferno stared at Chastity.
"Tell me you didn't have a contract with him. Tell me you didn't sign ownership, tell me you didn't..." he said, eyes wide, suddenly thrown off guard...

Minerva snarled toward Mawthough's mother, giving her eyes of pure anger.

At the sound of Chastity's voice, Mawthrough's head whipped in her direction, his eyes glowing faintly, darkly, blazing with savagery.

Mawthrough's mother returned the snarl Minerva gave her and spoke to them.
"You're a damned fool, Inferno..."

He summoned a broadsword - only for Mawthrough to get to his feet and begin advancing on him, letting out a almost hungry growl in the depths of his throat.

"By giving you that contract, girl, my son split himself into two halves - the half of him that is, shall we say, inclined to the darkness and the half with a soul, that he gave to you. Your father killed that half."

She planted her foot in Eros's back and kicked him towards Mawthrough. Eros staggered - then Mawthrough held him up over his head and tore him in half before ruthlessly tossing the pieces aside and stalking back towards Inferno again.

"So now, you're looking at something that's angry, savage, unthinking, unbelievably powerful and out for revenge."

She tittered darkly.
"Oh, how I hope your daughter fails in stopping him.... I can't deny Inferno I have longed for this to happen..."

Mawthrough came closer, his teeth bared, muscles tensed, growling angrily.
Inferno raised the broadsword.
"If you don't stop him daughter I will..."

Ezekiel, whom had hidden his presence, appeared behind Mawthough's mother, placing his deatblade against her neck, "If anything happens to my brother Inferno, you will pay bitch.........I could always put you down.........and your even weaker now..........."

Minerva didn't know what to do.

Cereza nodded her head. "They are worthless creatures."

Kye shrugged, "Yet some of the most dangerous in the world.......and strangely, one of the most resilient.........there are some good humans out there though............"

"I wouldn't say they are dangerous. They are controlled by their fear." Cereza sat forward. "They are frivolous, and cruel. They deserve nothing but contempt...the same they would show us."

Kye sighed, "So you've had a tough time with them eh? Many younger knights were caught in the middle ages by humans, those damned bastards burned them alive.........but......there were also humans that helped the knights, not all of one is bad, as not all of one is good, Occidio used to tell me that.....he was a hybrid of heaven and hell, bound to a mortal body, and a cycle of reincarnation..........."

Cereza's ears twitched. "I have yet to meet a human whom is not worthy of contempt." She stated with a slight growl upon her tone.

Kye sighed, "I've story to tell you, if you're interested in listening........"

Cereza looked at Kye. "Go ahead." She said, as she stretched out her legs.

Dark wreaths of hellish magic coiled around Mawthrough's frame, his whole body tensing to strike.

His mother whispered sweetly to Ezekiel, "Oh come now, you really think I'M in charge here? I'm retired. He's the one you need to be threatening. I'm just a poor innocent sweetheart who's looking at the bastard who took my son's father from him." By the end, her words were spoken with unmitigated venom.

Her words seemed to anger Mawthrough further, almost making him scream in rage - but the raw instinctual drive that was spiralling his desire to attack almost beyond control was also screaming at him not to hurt Chastity, who seemed almost afraid of him.

That thought made him back away, his gaze fall to the ground. His black wings seemed to crumple.

He landed on the ground then looked up at Inferno and Chastity, almost stifling screams of anger.
Then he looked at the ground, shaking quietly...
