Nikita quickly bolted up and his eyes swung wide open.

He looked around with concern at his surroundings before realizing he was back in the house.

He turned to look at Mara, who he had noticed had dozed off next to him. He patted her in thanks, before realizing something awful.

He could hear it. The rumbling of massive heavy gears sliding into place, as the ware house came alive.

He knew just what the warehouse was just not for what purpose it was created, and he realized now that someone had gone in. Someone human. Nikita stood slowly out of the spot, testing his footing to make sure he was stable, before looking around the house for supplies.

After a few moments, he came across a room he had not noticed before, behind a false wall, the contents of which severely startled him. It was a room solely in existence for creating bombs and other violent devices.

Searching through the racks, Nikita searched and searched until he finally came upon what he needed. Iron oxide, and aluminum shavings. Every anarchists go to.

He would make thermite, and he would burn a hole straight through those thick warehouse walls.

Since the beginning, he had felt a strong urge to go back to that warehouse, but why, he did not know. When he escaped, it was as if a rope had stayed tied between him and the building, and when he caught himself slipping up, it would pull him back. So several weeks ago he had decided to go back of his own will, and figure out what the hell was inside that building.

Steve hears the large sound of something jump above him. By the sound of it, it had to be something massive. Whatever the creature stalking him was, it was in the rafters above him. Steve began to think of methods for attacking this monster, but none came to him. He assumed that the monster could see in pitch black, otherwise it wouldn't been able to move so well inside this warehouse. He kept walking at the same pace to try and find the light switch.

Nikita erupted from the house, jar of thermite in one hand, magnesium bar in the other.

He sprinted to the Warehouse, paying no mind to the pain exploding through his body.

He ran to the door, noticing the girl standing outside, but not even bothering to introduce himself.
He simply nodded to here before knocking against the wall f the warehouse, finding the thinnest metal.

Nikita placed the jar against the thinnest point he could find and lit it with the magnesium bar, he took several steps back and pulled the girls body so she would not look at the burning thermite. After a few moments, a small hole had been burnt through the metal..just large enough for Nikita to squeeze through.

He could the red pathway, but choose to avoid it.

Instead, he began making clicking noises with his tongue..
He didn't know why, he just knew he had to.

The clicking though.. He understood after some time. Suddenly he could see. But not in the normal fashion... He could see the shapes.. From the echo of the sound.

He was echo locating.. How odd.

OOT fell a bit behind lol



When the door had slammed shut Kari started pulling on it to try to get it open but it was no use. She tried to look in the window but it was completely pitch black aside from dim red light. All she could do as sit and wait. Wondering what all was in the warehouse. She sat down on some debris and waited

Several moments later a man came running towards her. She had jumped up, clutching her bag but when the man completely ignored her, aside from the nod he gave her she eased up. He started knocking on the side of the warehouse. She wanted to ask what he was doing but then she was pulled away, being faced in the opposite direction of the warehouse
'strange'
she thought to herself. When the man turned to face the warehouse she did the same and noticed there was now a small hole. She watched a the man crawled into the hole. Kari walked over and bent down just enough to look inside but decided to wait outside of the warehouse
"What on earth is going on?"
she could hear the noises coming from inside the warehouse. She crouched down in front of the hole and watched as the man vanished into the darkness
'I'll just stay out here'
she thought to herself

Steve yelled out in agony, as the monsters claw tearing through his flesh. His baseball bat was dropped, and he was thrown off his feet. He skidded along the ground, clutching his shoulder in pain. When he stopped sliding on the cold hard ground, his head landed on a duffle bag.

Mara woke up suddenly, looking around she realized that Nikita was no longer in the house with her. Knowing the dangers of a head injury She quickly gathered her gear and set off to find him. She went out the front door and saw the warehouse in the near distance. A girl was standing outside next to a small hole. Rushing over checking that there were no zombies nearby she came to stand next to the girl. "Uh, hey. I'm looking for this Russian guy named Nikita. Did he go in there?" She asked Kari.

Nikita could slightly see the outline of the creature approaching him from the rafters. He began clicking louder and louder, attempting to get a better reverberation from the creatures form. It was definitely the one from before. Something was different this time though. He wasn't afraid. He was almost.. Angry.

From his walking pace, he slowly transitioned to a jog, and then suddenly to a sprint. toward the creature.
His head was pounding heavier than it ever had before, but it was almost as if it was pushing him forward. Pushing him deeper into the darkness. He could feel more and more rage well up inside him.

Kari was still crouched outside of the hole trying to see what was going on inside of the warehouse. When suddenly she heard someone yell in agony. She jumped up and started slowly backing away from the hole. She then heard the voice of a woman, which startled her, asking if she saw a russian by the name if Nikita. Kari looked at the woman and shook her head
"No one I know of that name but there was a guy who made that hole in the wall and went in"
she looked back at the hole
"I wouldn't go in there if I were you, something isnt right with that warehouse"

Mara felt the odd presence too. A feeling of foreboding and the thought of blood and dismemberment came easily to mind. "Yeah, I'd rather not go in either. So who are you waiting for?" She asked knowing that the girl wouldn't just be standing here without a reason.

The creature was observing the man as he started to sprint towards him, Not taking any chances he leaped from his current position behind Nikita. He was still in the rafters, but only for a moment. Jumping down, he charged in from behind Nikita. Claws at the ready.

Once he was in leaping distance, He pushed himself towards Nikita, Launching him with plenty of momentum Thought it was overshot, His claws gashed the side of Nikita. The monster tumbling in front of him quickly regained balanced and stood up. He ran the same direction that Nikita was, only to make him chase.

Nikitas strength is far superior to the monsters. However the speed that the monster has is his true offensive weapon.

As Nikita chased down the creature, his pounding head reached one critical moment. He let out a guttural scream, as he felt his muscles exploding and tearing and rebuilding. His vision went blank momentarily, and when it came back, something was different.

He was powerful.

(Think like... Undead hulk.. But not green)

Steve heard the primal scream that that filled his ears. He assumed it was from whatever creature attacked him, and he had no intention of going another round with it.

Sitting up from the blood coming from his back, he looked around and tried to get his barrings. He was able to see not far from him a small window of light, one that spelled freedom from this nightmare.. He groped around on the ground, trying to find his baseball bat, only to find the duffle bag he landed beside earlier. He threw the bag over his shoulder and began to walk to the opening of light. As he walked, his foot accidently kicked the baseball bat, causing a loud commotion.

He bent down and grabbed the bat and sprinted to the hole in the wall. thanking that monster might come back for round two. He rushed over to the hole and crawled through as fast as he could, until finally his body lay on the hard ground with sunlight beating down on his exhausted and bloody body.

A bone chilling scream echoed out of the hole startling her. Mara instinctively took a step back. Something was coming closer, approaching them from inside. The man stepped out and she simply stared at him. Blood stained his clothes and his skin had a sick pallor in the current lighting, taking her rifle in both hands she readies herself to kill the commie. Just as she was about to swing the girl said something and stepped over to him. Then Mara realized that it wasn't a zombie coming out to eat them, it must be who Kari was waiting for. Sheepishly she lowered her weapon and stood there a bit awkwardly, her face turning red.

OOT "Commie" is supposed to be "Zombie" I'm laughing too hard to change it at the moment.

Kari looked at the girl
"I'm waiting for...."
before she could finish there was a scream coming from the warehouse which startled her. She was about to run when Steven had stumbled out of the hole. She noticed the blood on him, she looked to the hole, then to steven then back at the hole
"W-what happened? did you get bit?"
she slowly started to back away from him in case he did

Steve rolls on the ground, clutching his shoulder in pain. Underneath the torn fabric of his shirt, three distinct claw marks were visable. He sat up and looked at Mara and Kari and said "Relax, I haven't been bitten. There was a monster in there that attacked me from behind. It must have been something real big, like a lion, tiger or a bear." Vyse said as he looked up at the two gals and said "Did one of you make this hole?"

Kari shook her head
"It wasnt us."
she looked at the hole
"Some guy came over and made that hole then he went in"
she looked up at steven
"Did you happen to see him while you were in there?"

Blinded by pure rage, Nikita stopped his unfruitful chasing and ripped a large storage container from the ground. Something that would normally contain a massive amount of some chemical, but in this instance, was empty.

With all of his might, he launched it toward the creature, a massive crash could be heard in the darkness as the storage tank connected with its target, and then another as the mass of steal and beast crashed through the wall. A massive burst of light erupted through the building as the tank and creature were launched out into the daylight.

Nikita walked slowly to the opening, which was about thirty feet from where he had initially come in, and stepped outside into the bright sun.

His gaze shifted to to three humans standing before him, and he leaned his body forward as if to charge.

Instead, a mass of steam began to roll off of him, as the extra flesh began to peel away and and fall to the ground, melting in a pool of unidentifiable organic matter under his feet.

As the transformation had completed once again, his clothes shredded and body covered in some sticky organic matter, Nikita took two steps forward, a hopeful smile on his face, before collapsing at the feet of the three people.

He mumbled one last thing before blacking out.

"Payback...is a bitch."

Oot: Time for a bullshit moment!

While the container was thrown towards him. He made any attempt he could to dodge it. It landed. But it only managed to do one thing, that was incapacitate its wings by some miracle of whatever god there was. The monster was aware of the day time. And since it wasn't unconscious it quickly burrowed underground.

The sun only blinded him. Rendering him useless in a battle any of them could kill him with little to no effort. Underground would shelter him for however long he needed to stay. He stayed in eavesdropping distance and traveled below them. His heightened sense of hearing is what would allow him to stalk them so precisely. He waited below Nikita. Knowing he was incapable of attacking. He waited, And listened. Once the night approached. It was open season again.

While he was burrowing, The others saw a glimpse of what was just released from the warehouse.  

Mara crouched down next to Steve and slung her pack onto the ground. She took the medical kit and opened it up. "We should get that wound tended to before it gets infected." She began pulling out tape and bandages and a few other items of unknown use and a syringe of clear liquid. With Kari's help the two of them stopped the bleeding and bandaged Steve's shoulder. Mara inserted the needle on the syringe into a vein and injected the painkiller. Taking a cravat she fashioned a makeshift sling. She leaned back and let her weight rest on the balls of her feet. The job looked good enough. It wasn't exactly pretty but it got the job done, and that's what mattered.

Steve took a moment and sighed in relief. The effects of the painkillers and first aid were sheer bliss on his body.He breathed for a minute before saying "Thank you Mara, that really helps." As he stood up. Just then his eyes landed on the duffle bag he found in the warehouse. He assumed it was from another victim that met their untimely demise at the hand of whatever creature attacked him. Just as he was about to open it and see what was inside, an unusual sight met his eyes. He witnessed something crawl out of the hole he escaped through. At first he assumed it was a monster, and he held the baseball bat in his right hand. Right before he was gonna leap forward and attack, the flesh from it's body began to fall away from Nikita's body. He heard what he said before passing out, and his face showed great confusion. He looked from Mara to Kari and said "You just saw that, right?"

Kari nodded
"yes I did"
she looked at the two
"what do you think we should do?"
she looked back over to nikita
"should we go and help him?:

Mara nodded. "It would only be fair." She said thinking of Nikita saving her. "There's a house just over there. Me and Kari can probably carry him that far."

Steve nodded before saying "Okay, lets go. Give us a chance to rest to, heavens know I need to lie down after today."
