Maraud had silently departed and was now seeking a belltower to take as his home. Or maybe a crypt. Gotta love a good crypt.

Cryth got up and walked over to her, and hugged her tight.
"I can protect you. And we have the bed."

"What, am I a superweapon now?!" the bed protested. "I'm not Super-bed! And don't you DARE start calling me that!"

Amelia look over at the bed then up at her brother
"I dont think the bed will be able to go everywhere we go. It would draw attention and look strange"
she sighed
"Are you sure you can protect me by yourself?"

Cam swung the heavy great sword around her again and again. The body parts piled up at her feet as she moved fluidly through the purple hued darkness. Unstoppable, unfatigued, cleaver of a sword effortlessly severing bodies in two with one swing, leaving deep gouges in the surrounding walls. More and more seemed to appear and then all of a sudden the last one fell and she looked around seeing no more come to take its place. Nothing but demon blood and severed piles of bodies remained.
It was remarkable! Normally after a fight like that she would have had to catch her breath, sit down and rest her aching body, feed, deal with any injuries. Not to mention she wouldn't have had ready access to the large sword crafted from one of her wings. The weapon flowed back into its original form and she reattached it to her back, flexed it to make sure it operated correctly and then turned her attention to the man she was helping. He battled a large demon, much bigger and more ferocious than the rest of the horde. Her attempts to aid him were met with angry stares and accidentally close swings of his weapon. Getting the message Cam kept her distance and watched the fight.

Fenrir turned out his pockets and produced multiple buttons, a couple of bottle caps, a still live field mouse (which he explained was being saved "for later"), and a few slabs of card shaped plastic. One of the slabs he handed awkwardly to the inn keeper then began wandering down the hall without even taking a key.

Fonn nodded in agreement with the woman. She cast another uneasy, regretful look over her shoulder. Raven rustled her feathers in irritation. "I'm sorry again about your tail. My name is Fonn, this is Raven. I'm... I'm not really sure what to do anymore. This world is foreign to me. Could you help me? Maybe?"

"Don't worry," the bed said confidently. "I am a master of subtlety."

Cryth took her by the shoulders and put her head on his chest.
"I am positive. Don't you trust me?"
His face fell. "Though I can't blame you if you don't."

Decoda tried to hang on to Tybalt, as best as she could. "Where did he go?" She asked, as her eyes followed Fenrir down the hallway.

"I will try my best." Arianna replied. "My name is Siren." She said.

Amelia nodded her head
"I do trust you"
she hugged her brother
"Its just, your only one person and if a bunch of them attack, Im afraid you wont be able to fight them all"
she looked up at him
"Your the only family i have left"
she looked down
"Everyone else is dead"

Tybalt had a confused look on his face as he watched Fenrir walk away.
"Heeey, where are you goin'? Huh...I dunno where he's going. Ah, well...he'll be fine. I think."
He turned his attention back to the innkeeper.
"Wow, when did your twin brother get here? Never mind, doesn't matter. Two rooms, please."
After Tybalt paid for the rooms, he could tell that Decoda was still quite wasted. He decided to bring her to her room so she wouldn't collapse on the way.


Sauriel felt a disturbance, he could tell right away that it was a demonic spell being used. He turned in that direction and saw a man being chased by a group of feral rats. He swooped down in front of the man and waved his hand towards the mice. They all burst into flames, and the man fell to his knees in exhaustion. He spoke to Sauriel as he tried to catch his breath.
"Th--thank you. They...those rats...killed my wife. Why...how could this...what happened to us?"
The man started to break down crying, but Sauriel replied in his usual emotionless tone, sparing no pity for the man.
"No doubt they were the work of a demon. Tell me, did you see it? Did you see who summoned those creatures?"
The man shook his head.
"No...we just ran."
He pointed his shaking finger in the direction he came from.
"We ran...and ran...but she couldn't get away..."
He broke down sobbing again. Sauriel walked away a few steps, then started to fly in the direction the man pointed to, looking for whoever summoned those rats.

"Like I said, we have the bed."
He guided her back to it and sat her down on it.
"Now sleep. We'll talk more in the morning."
He cuddled with her.
"I'm not going anywhere. And I never will. I promise."

"Get any sappier, I dare you..."

Amelia laid down on the bed
"Are we leaving tomorrow"
she asked as she pulled the covers over herself
"Where will we go?"
she closed her eyes but didnt fall asleep



Semira leaned over the balcony and watched as the couple ran away til she couldnt see them anymore. The scream of the woman stopped. Semira looked at her nails as if checking them for any chips
"Should have ran faster"
she said with a smirk before looking around for ways to start more chaos
"I might just pay the boy a little visit tomorrow, I could use some help with taking down another church

Fenrir stumbled down the hallway towards... towards... well he was going somewhere wasn't he? He had to be, why else would he be walking? He stumbled on eventually coming to a glass door that wouldn't open when he pulled on it. So he problem solved. Punching the glass frame he walked through the frame not noticing the cuts from the the shards that remained in their frame. He made his way across the wet tiles uncertain of where he was or where he was going. His foot come down on empty air and he tumbled forward. Splash! The sudden rush of water against his head made his already dulled senses incomprehensible. He broke the surface spluttering and coughing. His anger flared and he pulled the shadows to him from around the room. Engulfing his body he let out a cry of pain and ecstasy as he transformed.
Pulling himself out of the pool and stalked back through the glass door. trudging down the hall, bestial rage blazing through his being. The first door he came to he broke down easily. Screams from the occupants. Screams that died as they choked on their own blood or they were beheaded. Grabbing a leg he moved through the hotel taking bites from the leg and drunkenly slaughtering anyone in his way. The whole time he was shouting in the language of the werewolves. Mourning his pack, mourning his love, mourning everything. Rage against the demon, rage against humans, rage for his rage.
He moved up, moved down, but always moved forward. He came to the top floor, fur matted with blood, claws dripping, some person's limb clutched in one blood covered paw with several bites having been taken out of it. He tore through the first door he came to. The limb feel to the floor with a wet sound. The room's sole occupant, a young nun turned to look at him with surprise. The clothing registered on Fenrir's mind, the memories fueled by his rage. Letting out a howl of challenge he charged, eyes glowing with hatred.

Fonn followed Arianna fidgeting nervously. She didn't speak and Raven stayed quiet other than ruffling her feathers or fixing her perch on Fonn's shoulder. Longing glances over her shoulder until the smoke was out of sight and the sirens on the fire apparatus were out of hearing. Suddenly a howl split the night, startling her.
"W-What was that?"

"Somewhere safe."
Cryth couldn't say anything else.
"Somewhere away from all this."
He sat back on the bed, her head in his lap.
"I'll get you away from this. I promise."

Arianna stopped, and looked around. "It sounds like a wolf....I think..." she paused. "I can't really tell." She looked at Fonn. "Shall we investigate?"

Decoda looked up at Tybalt, as he led her down the hallway. "Thank you." She said sleepishly.

Semira turned to see the wolf charging towards her. She held out her hand and a staff appeared. the staff started to glow and the wolf was suddenly floating in the air.
"Well well what do we have here"
she circled the wolf
"A stray pup?"
she stood in front of him
"now whats a wolf like you doing in a hotel like this hmm?"
she tilted her head. Noticing the blood on the wolfs fur she smirked
"Looks like you've been busy""
she lowered him back onto the floor but kept her staff ready in case he would try to attack her again
"Now then, we can do this one of two ways"
she held he staff out in front of her
"I can destroy you right here and not"
she pulled her staff back
"Or you can turn around and never return"
she thought for a moment
"OR you can work for me?"
a second later she had a large steak in her hand that she seemed to pull out of no where, swinging it in front of him
"What will it be?"


Amelia yawned
"I'm gonna miss our home"
she slowly drifted to sleep

Tybalt smiled as he and Decoda approached the door to her room.
"Sure, don't worry about it."
He brought her inside the room, gently put her down on the bed and left her room key on a nearby table. He turned back just as he was about to walk out of the room.
"I'm four doors down to the right if you need anything. Good luck...your first hangover is sure to hit tomorrow morning."
He still had a smile on his face, but also a look of pity for what the poor, unsuspecting angel is about to go through.



Sauriel followed a faint trail of demonic energy from the demon who summoned the swarm of rats. He followed it to a nearby hotel and, after walking around for some time, made his way to a room that had its door torn down. Knowing that it must have something to do with the demon, he summoned his spear and walked inside to see a young nun with a staff in her hand and a werewolf that was being levitated by some sort of demonic power. He pointed his spear to the nun, more or less ignoring the werewolf.
"You are the demon who is wreaking havoc on this city and desolating its churches, correct? I have come to this city to deliver your punishment. Know that you face the angel Sauriel; I have destroyed many of your kind before and I will continue to do so after your death."

Semira noticed another man walk into the room
"So many visitors"
She heard the man go on about wreaking havoc and desolating churches, things she has heard before. but the one word that got her attention was 'punishment' and her eyes lit up
"What kind of punishment are we talking about?"
She looked up at him and tilted her head
"I never knew an angel was kinky, does your master know about your fetish? giving 'punishments' to nuns none the less"
She started walking towards the angel dressed in only a silk robe which flashed the flesh of her skin as she walked.
"You look rather familiar and your name is familiar, have we met somewhere?"
she stopped for a moment and glanced at his spear in his hand
"that's a nice spear you got there, is that what you uses for your 'punishments?"
she smirked

OOY having soo much fun with this

Abiron walked up to the hotel he was told to head too. He was told to met back up with Semira but he wanted to have a little fun first. Abiron walked up to one of the bellboys. "Excuse me sir but I need you're help with something." He brought the bellboy to a closet and kicked him inside it. He walked in the room and closed it. "I'm sorry sir but I need your face." Saying that Abiron pulled out a knife. The bellboy screamed but before a voice could break out Abiron broke the bellboys jaw. "Ow! Shit that hurt!" Abiron shook his hand. "Ah the things I do for fun." The man scrambled but Abiron stepped on his leg and grabbed on of the bellboys arms. "Oh no you don't...." CRACK! The bellboys arm snapped back and Abiron smiled. The bellboy feel to the ground and whimpered softly. Abiron turned him over, sat on his chest and put the knife to the bellboys face. Abiron leaned closer to the bellboy and spoke softly into his ear. "Shhhh.... Now now big boys don't cry." Saying that Abiron started to laugh as he plunged the knife into the bellboys face. A few moments later Abiron walked out of the closet in the bellboys clothes. The bellboys laying there fine but with his uniform missing. "Well that was fun. Now back to work." Abiron pushed the serving cart into the elevator and walked down the hall to the room where Tybalt and Decoda were by mistake. Abiron knocked on the door and said "room service."

Fonn nodded to Arianna. "I feel battle in the air. Like a thunder storm is coming. We have to go." Fear filled her but she knew that she couldn't miss this one. It felt like a slaughter, so her sisters would take their time showing up to this one.

Fenrir stood up unsteadily on his haunches, balancing precariously. The room seemed to be spinning and the scents coming from the demon, the steak, the angle and his armor not to mention all of the blood on his fur mixed the world into a bizarre swirling mass. Staggering forward against the staff he doubled over and threw up. Various chunks of human flesh and blood pooled onto the carpet under him. That helped a bit although his now empty stomach craved more. He figured he would be fine and stood up, eyes blazing as he stared at the demon from earlier that day, now almost naked. Her flesh exposed alluringly by the robe she was wearing at the moment when she moved right. He turned his attention to the angel, spear aimed at the demon, white wings held in a position for attack.
An Angel. A Demon. And a Werewolf.
Fenrir knew he was at a disadvantage against either one of them. The demon was the one from the bar earlier, and he knew what her power was. Knew that he had been unable to escape from it by his own power. But if he had the angel on his side...
His gaze fell on the steak. His stomach grumbled. His madness from earlier seemed to reassert itself. The steak, it wanted to be eaten. It had to be eaten. Steak...
Drool dripped from his fangs as he stared at the slab of meat. Semira's ploy had worked for the moment.

Arianna nodded her head. "Then we shall go." She said to Fonn, and followed the direction of the howl.

Decoda rolled on her stomach, as she drifted off into a drunken slumber. Then heard someone knock on the door. She opened her eyes halfway. "What does that mean?" *HIC*

Tybalt heard a knock just as he was about to open the door. He replied to the man behind it.
"No thanks, not tonight."
Instead of leaving the room, he made his way to the bathroom when his stomach started to turn.
"Sorry about this, Decoda...it can't wait..."
Saying that, he knelt down and...emptied the contents of his stomach into the toilet.
"Agh...blech...well, at least I'm feeling a little better, now."
He spoke to the man behind the door again.
"Would you mind coming back tomorrow morning?"


Sauriel grunted in frustration. If you could see his expression underneath his helmet, it would no doubt be contorted in rage. He spoke angrily to the demon while keeping his spear pointed towards her, his voice booming loudly throughout the room.
"Are you making a mockery of me, demon? I did not come here to be trifled with. Whether this is your idea of a joke or you honestly thought that an angel of my stature would fall for these vile attempts at seduction, you have gravely insulted my honor."
He then turned his attention to the werewolf.
"And you. Are the last remaining members of the beast-kin truly so easy to manipulate? What a pathetic display! Come back to your senses and try to regain some semblance of dignity."

Odd I don't know this voice. Maybe it's one of Semira's followers. "No no I insist S-" Abiron was cut off as he watched Tybalt walk out of the room. Abiron peered inside the room. Oh fuck! And angel! Something seems... wrong with her though. She doesn't seem to know I'll a demon. Just to be safe though... Abiron changed his eye color and started to act more like a "human". " Oh gee I'm so sorry mister it seem's I've gotten the wrong room. I am so gosh darn ashamed or myself. While I'm here though do you think you could tell me if you've seen this one woman? She's a nun." Abiron wore a nice expression on the outside but was cringing on the inside with every word he spoke.

Tybalt crossed his arms and thought to himself. After a moment, he smiled at the man and replied.
"Well, I've only run into one nun today. She had blonde hair and red eyes...but she's the kind of nun you wouldn't want to look for, trust me!"
He motioned to the door.
"The young lady in here is quite tired and doesn't wish to be bothered, so please don't worry about it, okay?"
He then turned around and started to walk away, but after taking some steps down the hall he stopped and turned his head back to the man, glaring at him. He spoke in a tone that was much less friendly than before.
"By the way...it's no use trying to hide anything from me. I know what you are. And if you try to harm the angel in that room in any way, I'll know right away. Don't try to cause any trouble around me."
He opened the door to his room and walked in.


Sauriel's rage had reached a breaking point, to the point where his eyes started to glow brightly underneath his helmet.
"I would like nothing more than to remove your head from your shoulders..."
He lowered his spear and took a few steps back.
"...However, something more important has just come to my attention. It appears I was wrong about you. If honeyed words and debauchery are the only weapons you have at your disposal, I find it hard to believe that you could defeat even a single angel, much less two. I sense the presence of another demon in this building...it must be the one I am searching for."
He started to walk out of the room.
"But make no mistake; if I ever see you again, I will end you."

Fenrir crouched silently watching the angel and demon through blurry eyes. He knew he had caved into the demoness's desire but for some reason he wasn't ashamed of it. Maybe it was because of the alcohol, but it seemed easier to accept the offer than to fight her. Realising his alignment he stood and stared at the angel, sizing up the armor for weakness, judging the weapon and its strong and weak points. No doubt the angel had eons of experience on top of him, but the hardened veteran always had to fear the amateur with no experience. Who knew what crazy thing they might try that went against common sense. There was possibility here too. If they fought using his ability and the demoness they could defeat the angel, then in her weakened state he could terminate the demoness as well. A few members of his pack had commented on the taste of demon flesh, it was supposed to taste like nothing else. Whether that was good or bad he didn't know. The same had been said of angels.
He wondered if he would want to kill her though? A throbbing seemed to reverberate in his skull at the thought of harming her and a fog seemed to cloud his vision and dull his senses. Most likely it was her magic.
He was still drunk, knew that despite the sobering effect of the situation his abilities and judgement were still badly impaired. Any chance he had would come in the form of a surprise attack. Tensing, he prepared himself for combat.

They went in through the lobby, unnoticed in the confusion left behind by the rampage. The inn keeper was running around trying to get some kind of order yet none of the guests seemed to care about him. They were too busy trying to "help" the injured. Of course instead of actually doing anything productive most of them just stood around the destroyed rooms and mutilated corpses commenting about "how horrible all of it was." Fonn felt a calming effect come over her and knew that Raven felt it too. She stepped through the crowd drawing gazes from bystanders, Arianna seemed to shrink slightly at the attention.
Fonn ignored it though, pushing her way into each one of the rooms, examining the bodies, or what was left of the bodies. She'd kneel down over one and touch it, her eyes would glaze over as she went into a trance reliving the last moments of the now dead person's life. Upon coming out of the trance she mumbled a word almost as an after thought. The binding of a soul to Valhalla was a rather simple procedure. All a Valkyrie had to do was review how the person died, their final moments showing what they thought and how they felt just before the time of death. Once this was done the Valkyrie then decided whether the human was worthy of Odin's hall or not. At this point the word "Accepted" or "Rejected" was spoken. Since she had been banished, Fonn's binding held no power and she knew this. But habits are hard to break.
The visions were brief and most of them were disjointed. Large furry body, burning eyes, razor claws and blood. After several she managed to conclude that all of the people had been killed by a single werewolf. She stood, eyes sweeping the "battlefield" for clues and followed the werewolf's path through the hotel. As she went, following Raven's mental path several people stepped out into the hallway blocking her path.
"Angel." One of them said in a pleading, sorrow filled voice. "Please help us." The man stepped aside to reveal the corpses of a woman and a what was most likely her daughter due to resemblance in the facial features.
Fonn stared at the two corpses, then back at the man unsure of what she should do. As a Valkyrie her only duty as to take the slain with her to Valhalla while her counterparts from Folkvangr did the same for Freya. Of course she didn't have that power anymore.
"I'm sorry, I can't do anything for them besides judge whether their souls are worthy." The man seemed to steel himself before nodding grimly.
Fonn stepped forward to the two corpses and put a hand on the woman then her daughter. The vision was roughly the same; the werewolf tore through either the door or wall, attacked them and left. The deaths had been short and the two women had only shown fear and terror at their demise. She took her hand away and let out a sigh.
"I'm sorry, sir. They are not worthy of the All Father's Hall. I'm sorry." She said to him. For a few moments he was saddened by the news, then confused as her words didn't seem to make sense.
"What the hell are you talking about!" He snarled at her. "All Father? What Hall?"
"Odin's hall, sir, Valhalla."
Her head spun 90 degrees before she knew what had happened. Cheek stinging she looked back at the man. "Wha...?"
"Valhalla!" He shouted. "What kind of shit is that! Are you an angel or aren't you!"
"I'm a Valkyrie." She said, unsure how to deal with this. No one had ever questioned her before. Or hit her.
The man seethed and he began to twitch his anger was so great. The mood of the other people nearby slowly began to mimic his as his aura infected theirs. Raven came up behind the man, her dark form moving fluidly and the tip of her lance penetrated through the man's chest. The rage left his form as his body reacted to the sudden fatal intrusion. Fonn was just as shocked as everyone else.
"Raven?" She thought spoke to her shadow.
"Not allowed. To harm you." She spoke back through telepathy.
Forcing more of the weapon through the man's body she tilted it up lifting his feet from the floor then swung teh weapon like a bat dislodging his now limp form and bowling over several other humans. Her next move brought her beside Fonn and Arianna, taking the two of them into her shadow the three of them vanished from the hall.
Hard carpet floors appeared under her, the area was quiet. She looked around at a hotel hallway that hadn't been destroyed by a werewolf. Looking up at Raven the dark eyes stared back. Raven stared down at her, wings flexing in rage. Lance held at her side.
"I will not let anyone hurt you."

Tybalt decided that it wouldn't be wise to go to sleep yet, especially with that demon lurking around. So he simply turned on the television and started flipping through the channels.
"It's been a while since I've used a TV. Let's see...is there anything interesting on here?"
He went through channel after channel, quickly becoming bored with each one. Eventually he made his way to a channel that was showing a giant mecha anime. His eyes lit up a little.
"Hey, this looks pretty decent!"
He leaned back on his bed to enjoy the show, but he still kept part of his mind focused on tracking the demon he encountered earlier.


Sauriel stopped in his tracks, turned back and listened to the demon. He soon realized just how dire his situation truly was.
"Two demons and a werewolf...it is as you say, I seem to be at quite the disadvantage. But I have never known defeat..."
A bright light appeared in his hand.
"...And I never shall."
He raised his hand and a blinding light filled the room, stunning the unsuspecting demon and werewolf. It would only last for a few seconds, especially against a powerful demon, but that was all he needed. He shot a fireball from his spear towards the far wall, blasting a giant hole through it. He then flew past his opponents, out of the room and to the roof of the hotel. When he landed on top of it, he quickly set up a barrier of light around himself. It would not hold for very long, but it would buy him a precious few more seconds as his enemies broke it down.
"To defeat this many opponents at once, I will need more power. The humans in this place should have more than enough energy for that. I will do what needs to be done."
Normally, Sauriel did not partake in the rituals that other angels used to drain the power of humans and strengthen their own power. He preferred to drain the power of his opponents in battle, as he considered the idea of using willing, submissive humans to gain power to be beneath him. However, in times of desperation, Sauriel can forcefully absorb strength from nearby humans and add it to his own. It would not work on more powerful beings such as angels, demons or even empowered humans, but there were still at least a few hundred normal humans left in this hotel. He planted his spear firmly in the ground and his body took on a bright, golden glow as he absorbed the life force of the people beneath him.
