Amelia opened her eyes slowly and realized she was fine. she relaxed a little and placed her hand on her lap
"D-does my brother ever say anything about me"
she looked at the bed
"Whether i was a burden to him or not, I know why he wasnt home much, it was cause of me wasnt it?"


Semira sat back
"and if i was a demon, whats it to you?"

Tybalt folded his arms in thought, most likely giving the idea more thought than it deserved.
"Well...I don't know if I'd call it strange, but it'd certainly be something I've never seen before! Whether you want one or not is up to you. I guess it could come in handy sometime."
He shrugged and continued looking around. When they came to a pay phone, Tybalt smiled and motioned towards it.
"There we go! It's all yours, Decoda."

Decoda smiled, as she walked towards the pay phone. "Thank you." She said to Tybalt, then moved her wings closer to her body, so she could fit. She took the phone number out of her pocket, and dialed the number. "Hello?" she said in response to the person on the other line. "It's Decoda...you may not remember me-" a pause.."well...a friend of mine and I need a place to stay...is it-" another pause. "Thank you." She smiled. "We'll be there shortly." She hung up the phone and turned to Tybalt. "He agreed to let us stay there for as long as we need."

Appearance: Has a single wing that has been stained over the centuries by various bodily fluids and chemicals into a bizarre multi colored tapestry. The wing is on the right side Sephiroth style. She has burn scars on her body that are from various chemical reactions in her experiments. There is also a rope scar on her neck where she was lynched once in the distant past.

The church stood before her. It was an old building surrounded by modern architecture. A visual reference to how the times had changed. Purposeful strides drew her to the front door past the pile of ashes and half burned items that looked somewhat church related. It wasn't her issue though. The heavy doors opened at her touch and she stepped into the large communal hall. Her footsteps echoed around the empty space and she felt the unfamiliar aura pressing down on her. The affront of her presence was duly noted in her mind, yet in the end she didn't care. She had come to see someone. The differences of opinion between the faction of angels she belonged to and God the big angel himself weren't out and out hostile, but the Gray and White angels had never really seen eye to eye for most of their recorded history.
A few curious heads poked out from the few doors that lead off into the building proper but she paid them no mind. Seeming to select a door at random she walked down the hallway behind it following the twists and stairways s it went allowing her perception to lead the way. Eventually she found herself standing outside of the room that housed her quarry. She had just passed the Father of the church and a White angel. The latter had bristled at her presence but kept silent while the Father nodded, unable to tell the difference other than the obvious physical deficiencies of her appearance.
Newi didn't bother knocking. Turning the knob she opened the door.
"Greetings, brother." She said to the armor clad angel meditating in the middle of the chamber. His helmeted head turned to her and she felt the annoyance in his aura at her presence. She smirked inwardly at his discomfort.

Fonn made her way into the basement of the hotel, Arianna following behind. Raven was down there somewhere.

Amelia shook her head
"I don't what that to happen..No I won't let it happen"
She sighed
"Maybe he is better off without me, maybe I should leave and fend for myself and not rely on him so much. I dont want him to get hurt because of me and if these angels and demons are after me and he is with me they will hurt him"
she looked up at the bed
"He has already done enough for me"

Tybalt smiled widely.
"Well, that's the first piece of good news we've heard all night. Where does this friend of yours live?"
He moved behind Decoda, following her.
"By all means, lead the way. The sooner we can get some shut-eye, the better."

Sauriel made no effort to hide how displeased he was at having another "guest." He stood up, muttering to himself.
"It seems that peace is quite a luxury in this city."
He then turned to face the other angel.
"You are one of the Grey Angels, are you not? What business do you have here? The sooner you finish what you have come to do, the better; both for your own safety and my patience. Make no mistake, this city will soon become a battlefield once again."

Decoda stopped and turned to Tybalt. "Are you afraid of heights?" She asked him.

"Is Raven okay?" Arianna asked, unsure of how a shadow would react to that bright of a light.

"This entire planet is a battlefield, is it not? Whether this city or another is seeing actual conflict is not much of an issue." She said, a bored tone in her voice. "As for your patience, our lives stretch eons, certainly you have benefited from this long stretch of existence in that regard. However I did not come here to engage in idle conversation or be warned about irrelevant details." She stepped fully into Sauriel's chamber she didn't seem to care much about the warlike angel before her or his deteriorating mood.
"My goal here is simple curiosity, nothing more. However since I am here perhaps you could point me in the direction of potential experimental subjects. I went through the last group I had acquired much more rapidly than i had intended. So I'm in need of more. Would you happen to know if this city contains any notable humans or subhumans that I could use for my research?"

"She should be okay. No actual damage to her being, she is just unable to be around intense sources of light. Especially divine light." Fonn trekked into the gloom and called out telepathically as she went. Eventually a small dark form made its way from the depths of the shadows and came to stand at Fonn's feet. Reaching down she picked up the small creature and cradled it in her arms. She turned to Arianna.
"She is simply shaken, nothing more. We can be on our way now."

Semira sat back her eyes going back to their natural color
"Well he didn't fully attack me, we sorta got interupted"
she sat back and crossed her legs
"Shame, I was really hoping to find out his punishment"
she pouted
"No one ever wants to have any fun"
she looked back at the man
"Well you caught me red handed, I am in fact a demon, surprise surprise"
she leaned in wit interest
"So if say i allow you to take me in, where are we going?"
she paused for a moment
"Oh do i get to wear those metal things on my wrist....those...handcuffs yes thats whats they are, I've always wanted to try out handcuffs"
she smirked
"Would you be the one handcuffing me?"
she seemed excited all of a sudden



Amelia looked down
"and he is all i have left but he should be able to do what he wants and not constantly look after me all the time"
she heard the footsteps coming from the hall but remained in the chair
"he probably wishes i wasnt his sister sometimes"

"Take it from me when I say that's the last thing he'd think," the bed said quickly then maintained it's silence as the door opened to reveal Cryth and the young man from before.
The only difference now was that the young man now was... a mer-man. Water cascaded off his green scales, and his fin flapped around as he slithered towards Amelia.
"Amelia, don't be alarmed," Cryth said quickly.

Amelia looked up at her brother and the merman as the entered.
"what happened?"
she looked from the merman to her brother then back again

The bed whistled.
"Wow, you're not running for the hills. You're getting braver by the moment."
The boy looked rather embarrassed.
"This... is my real form. My mother cheated on my father with a merman and... well..."
He gestured to himself. "It kinda shows."
Cryth took over. "Samuel here is giving us a quick place to stay until we can sort somewhere out. This can be your room. I'll take the bed so you can have the queen-size."
"Kinda feels like you're cheating on me," the bed commented.
"Any questions or anything, ask Samuel. I'll be in the library, trying to find out more about this mess. In a bit," then Cryth was gone. Samuel looked at her. "Any questions, or shall I leave you in peace?"

Semira froze upon feeling the blade on her neck
"Oh shes feisty, I like her"
she smirked
"now how about you take that blade away nice and slowly or I might just have to hurt you"
Shula felt something against her stomach from under the table. Semira had summoned her staff and had it pressing against her stomach the crystal on the end of it was glowing red.
"In the time it takes you to press that blade in my throat ill have you blasted to bits, do you really want to tempt it?"she raised a brow

Amelia thought for a moment
"Do I have to stay in here or can I take a walk?"
she watched as her brother exited out the room
"It my fault he has to do all this"
she sighed

Semira kept her staff where it was and looked at Gabe with a raised brow
"And that would be?"


Amelia nodded then got up and headed out of the room. After wandering around for a bit she found herself in the garden. Finding a quiet spot in the middle of the garden she rested on the grass looking up at the sky
"What do I do?"
she sighed

All of a sudden, in front of her, the boy in her dream appeared again.
He was somehow lying upright, on something invisible, tossing and turning, looking conflicted.
