Daemon froze, then stared at Ella for a few moments before letting out a short burst of laughter,
"Wait... let me get this straight. Despite all that big talk, you can barely last a fight?"

she shook her head
"its what happens when i use too much of my ability, between the men that were here just now and this it took a lot out of me"

Daemon thought for a moment,
"Would a battery help?"

she shook her head
"no a battery will not help any other smart comments?"

Daemon scratched his head for a few moments then looked up to the sky.
He clicked his fingers,
"Got it! What if you held a metal stick under a lightning storm"

she shook her head
"all i need is rest then i will be back to my usual self"

Daemon sighed,
"Well suit yourself...",
He paused and though for a moment,
"But I just hope that house will be secure when they come while you sleep"

Mathuriel was leaning against the wall.
"That shouldn't be a problem..."

out of the corner of my eye i saw a flash of light in the distance. "did i miss one?" i asked myself, pulling my sword out of one of the creatures heads. "can't have them running around causing problems." i walked towards the light, already generating lightning into my sword, ready to make the first strike. surprisingly there was no creature but a small run down house. listening closly i could here the faint noise of talking. putting my sword away i started to walk up the creeky steps of the house, to the door.

she looked at daemon
"thats the worse time they want to mess with me "

Daemon bent down and picked up a clump of dirt then stood up against and twisted his body,
"Catch",
He spun his arm and released the clump of dirt towards Ella

ella caught the clump of dirt
"whats the point in this"

Daemon looked slightly disappointed but chuckled all the same,
"Just wanted to see if it would hit you"

"and why is that?...whats did i do to you to be hit with dirt?"
she dropped the clump

Daemon shrugged,
"Better mud than bullets",
He grinned,
"Of course when more come I don't expect you to hold out long, therefore staying here would mean my death...",
His voice trailed off more a moment,
"And I cannot afford that loss... Not yet",
Daemon spun and began to walk away again

Daemon stopped dead in his tracks upon hearing another gun shot. He sighed and looked back,
"Guess the ones that ran away have bought help...",
He looked forward at another group of eight.

Mathuriel coolly stepped sideways and began spinning his hands again.
"One moment, please..."

ella looked over at Mathuriel
"what are you planning to do?"
she looked back at the group of eight coming towards them

He smiled as his hands began to glow as he spun them.
"Magic..." he said softly, then snapped his fingers and vanished....

ella looked at daemon
"well i guess we better prepare ourselves for their attack"
her eyes started to glow as she got ready to fight

"Bet ya wish you killed them now, eh?",
Daemon shook his head and turned on his heel so that he was facing the house once again,
"But... Since you seem so confident in your abilities, go ahead and deal with them"

Three of the men started to fire on Ella while the other five provided general cover fire in case she should retaliate

lightening started surrounding ella blocking the bullets, she pulled out he guns in her holster and started shooting towards them combining her lightening with the bullets
"so your just gonna sit there and watch?"

Daemon sat down upon hearing her words,
"Sure, sounds good",
Daemon sat down against a bush and watched the fight

Four of the men broke from the group and rushed forward with knives while the other four continue firing,
As one of them got closer they jumped into the air, while another slid along the ground. The remaining two chargers split to the sides and tried to attack her from each side.

ella ducked away from the one that leaped into the air then held up her arm as she did this lightening struck down all around her
"well your no help at all"
