Ella looked up at Mathuriel when he gave her the robe
"Thank you"
she said as she pulled the robe around her to keep her warm. She had closed her eyes but then heard Eylan ask for introductions. She opened her eyes and looked over to Eylan
"I'm Ella"
She smiled then closed her eyes again
"Sleep well"
she spoke out to everyone



Allora was half asleep when she replies
"Im Allora, this here is Spirit"
she patted the wolf she was curled up next to.
"And thats Skye"
she pointed to the hawk that was now sitting on a ledge. She then nuzzled against the warmth of spirit and drifted to sleep

OOT: Gonna Recap Carlyle a Bit.

Carlyle was slowly being surrounded when The group was suggesting to go to a cave, A soldier charged towards Mathriuel, He leaped in front of it, and grabbed it in his hand smashing the sword between his palm of the gauntlet. He said out loud. "Run, Get everyone to safety, I will catch up with you later. Get to the cave, And if I don't show up, Don't look for me, I'm just lost. I'm sure we'll cross paths again brother."

2 More soldiers charged towards Carlyle and Mathrieul, "Now, Leave!" The soldier swung down on Carlyles left arm just grazing it, In reaction, he slashed open the soldiers stomach with a single movement of the gauntlet. The second soldier, tried to impale him, But to no avail his attempt was futile. "COME ON! THERE ISNT ENOUGH OF YOU TO TAKE ME ON! I CAN GO ALL NIGHT!" A clear bluff. But he had to keep attention on him.

Once he saw that the remaining resistance wanted him, He gave all of his might towards killing them. Several hours later, Most of the men had died. However, Carlyle collapsed due to exhaustion. The men, all were baffled by it. And refused to kill who wasn't going to fight back and so, They shackled him and began to escort him to the nearest town. He was out cold. Period, He couldn't even wake up if he wanted too.

Jericho waited for his wife to enter slumber before he would do anything at all, once he heard her snoring he got out of bed silently. Being meticulous about silence. He walked over to his unarmored clothing and put it on, than put on his armor. He opened the door as silent as possible and closed it the same.

Finally he reached the ground floor of his castle and began to walk towards the exit. But before he did, He wrote a letter telling divinity it was telling her he was getting sent on duty in a town back to where near he raided. He finally exited and jumped onto his horse,

Slowly manuvering out of the grounds Divinity could here. He started to gallop wildly. It was a dark, stormy night. The raindrops glistening the armor and exaggerating its illumination in the moonlight. All the while getting wet. Once he reached the first town next to his castle his exhaustion showed. He went to a local inn and began to fall asleep.

Current:

Carlyle slowly began to regain consciousness, His vision was blurry and his hearing distorted. He looked down at his wrist and saw the shackles. It was another stormy night. And it showed, Water was leaking like a geyser expelling. And a piece of bread lay drenched. It was his dinner but he would refuse to eat it.

"PRISONER!" The Guard yelled. "You, and the man next to you are scheduled for execution 4 Days from today. We need to work the in and outs of the process before just killing you, Why if it was up to me you would be dead!"

Regardless of the rain, Carlyle was tinted red from head to toe, Only giving him an all but to guilty appearance. He sat in silence as he slouched back and stared at his fellow inmate.

OOT: Hey I'm back now. I'm just gonna assume I'm still with you guys since around the time I took a break the kings men attacked the pub.


"Will someone please remind me why we're running from the king again?" He said sitting down and taking a small flask from out of his jacket. He wiped some of the water off from it and took a drink.
"Ah, I'm running out already. Should have gotten it refilled at the pub while I had the chance. You guys owe me a drink."

After taking a drink he closes the flask and puts it down, then takes off his jacket to ring it out and let it dry.

I really don't want to have to fight the King... He thought. But I can't get caught by Donovan either. Damn it... what have I gotten myself into this time? After I promised Sara that I wouldn't get involved with something like this again I do it anyway...

He lay down away from the fire and closed his eyes.

"It feels like it would if you weren't bathed in it." he let a slight chuckle out. He was surprisingly calm about his situation, the male on the side of him didn't seem to bother him either.

"I suppose I deserve to be here. The king hired a new military director. The guy is one hell of a coordinator, The men were as loyal to him as a dog would be to its owner. Not much recollection after that. I kept going till I collapsed. That's why I'm here... What did you do, to be sentence to a public hanging?"

Carlyle coughed dryly. Weaseling his hand up to hid mouth so no saliva expelled anywhere.

"So, Four days. We can be good friends till than."

Zenith stroked Serena's hair as she bumped into her arm. She smiled softly.
"Go to sleep, Serena. It's been a long day."

Serena nodded and drifted off.

Zenith saw a glow from Serena's pendant and suddenly, a burst of heat came through. Nobody was wet anymore.
"Wha-?" She woke Serena. "Did you do that?"

"Do what?"

He swallowed water in shock. He grabbed the chain around his neck.
I refuse to die here!
He stepped on the ball, and started pulling of the chain.
He will pay! He will die for what he has done!
He yanked hard on the chain, pulling it apart, then dragged himself up the bank of the moat. Valan violently coughed out most of the water, and continued to pull himself away from the water.
'I will watch...as the light drains from his F***king eyes.'

"Cheated a few men. Won too many games of cards. Made a little too much money."
He pinged off some dirt from his nail.
"And I'm always looking for friends."

Mathuriel sat up, feeling the magical heat.
"Something magical just happened. Who has something magical on them?"

An arrow thudded by Valun's head.
A group of archers stood on the battlements, laughing.
One of them threw a decapitated wolf's head onto the ground in front of the wildman, the terrified eyes staring unseeingly.
Another arrow thudded.
"Go on, run away, monkey man!" they jeered. "Yah, yah!"

Ella opened her eyes and looked at her clothing noticing they were dried
"Well at least we are dry, I can't complain"

Elyan opened his eyes and looked around.

"What...was that? I thought I felt something just now."

He sat up and looked around the room. After a few moments he decided that it was probably nothing and went back to sleep.

OOT just gonna push this along

Ella woke the next morning bright and early. She walked over to the water and washed her face to wake herself up. Since the other were still asleep she decided not to disturb them, they were safe for now. She took off her boots and dipped her feet in the water. She wondered what lies ahead of their journey, what her future holds. She then wondered what happened to Carlyle since he never showed up. She made a note to mention it to Mathuriel when he woke....

Mathuriel opened his eyes, feeling like he'd been run over by a cart.
"Ow."
He got up, cramped.
"Hey, Ella."
He then proceeded to take all of his clothes off, walk completely naked past Ella, drop his clothes next to her and slid into the cold water.
"Ay ay ay ay ay ay ahh... How are you feeling this morning?"

Aizengard woke up and rubbed his still tired face yawning. Seeing some of the other were still asleep he decided it'd be best if he stayed quiet. He put his hand on his chin and noticed that his beard was growing a little to long and prickly. He took out his knife and started to shave away at the hair on his face.

I really like my beard but Sara hates how prickly it gets. Oh well. He thought.

After making sure he got all the hair off his face he put his nife away and put his jacket back on and checked his flask seeing that it's still empty. With a look of disappointment on his face he put the flask back into his jacket and waited for the others to get up.

Zenith was appalled.
"GODS, Mathuriel! There are children here! Have some decency!" She was woken up by the noise. She was facing away from Mathuriel on the ground, huddled next to Serena.

Aizengard heard the commotion and laughed.

"Come on guy, have a bit of self control. I know their are a bunch of pretty looking women here but there are other ways to make your move so to speak." He said laughing, a grin crossing his face, the first real grin he's made in forever.

"I mean it's like the lady said, there ARE children here. I mean I've heard of liking them young but come on."

Ella notice Mathuriel passing her out of the corner of her eye. She glanced over noticing he was stark naked. She quickly turned her eyes away, her face reddened.
"Um..I'm fine thank you but..."
She pointed at the clothes
"I think you might want to put something on, the others don't seem to happy"

"Well, she would be asleep if you weren't waking her up with all that racket," Mathuriel pointed out reasonably, but made the concession of leaning out of the water and putting his pants on whilst still submerged up to his waist.
"Sorry about the view, well, I'm not sorry if you like what you see -" he winked at Zenith cheekily, before wiggling his eyebrows at Ella - "but today is going to be the day we kill the king, and I will be damned if I end a regime without having freshened up first."
He moved further back into the water, now submerged up to his neck.
"Sorry if I offended anybody. Now then, rise and shine, we have a monarch to depose."

Looking around he noticed that the guy Mathurial was arguing with was still asleep so he stood up and walked over to him.

(OOT: Saying this to Dungeon Master's Character)"Hey pookie, rise and shine." He said kicking the guy in his ribs as hard as he could.

"Hey you." He said to the bathing man. "When I joined I was promised a free drink and now I'm out of liquor in my flask. I think you owe me when we get to the next town."

OOT: How did I not see that!? Sorry for the confusion everyone....

Ella kept her head turned away hiding her face behind her hair which was still red at this point. She pulled her feet out of the water when she knew she wasn't blushing anymore and stood up
"I agree, today the king dies... we should get a move on"
She slipped on her boots zipping them up



Allora woke up stretching her arms above her head while yawning
"Whats all the commotion? I was having such a nice dream"

"About that..." Aizengard said walking over to the guy who was bathing.
"I need to talk to you about a little side trip if you don't mind."

OOT: Whoops, how did I miss that many posts?

Elyan groaned as he faced his rude awakening.

"What was your name again? Eyes-in-something? Wake me up like that again and you might find that you're missing that foot the next day."

He rubbed his eyes and looked around the room.

"So, we're just gonna go for it, huh? Sounds good to me. Sure, a full-frontal assault might sound insane to a normal person but we're not exactly normal, are we?"

He grabbed his equipment and looked over to Aizengard, remembering something else he heard while he was half-awake.

"Oh yeah, you wanted to do something. You'd better make it quick. The longer we spend taking care of your little errand, the harder our lives become with the king's men right on our tail."

Aizengard turned to look at the guy he kicked.

"Aw did I hurt you? Sorry pookie I'll be a wittle more gentle next time. But yes this is a little important." He said looking back at Mathurial.

"I might have told you already but I was running from someone named Donovan when I ran into your group. I haven't told you yet was that I have a four year old daughter waiting for me to return home. Now before you say anything, I'm not insane. I didn't leave her alone, I left her with a friend of mine but I need to make a quick trip home to check up on them. You know to show them I'm still alive. It's close to the capital city so it's not too far out of the way. So if it's alright with you.... uh... Well I just realized I don't know your name yet, but anyway if it's alright could we head over there?"

Elyan gave a suspicious glare to Aizengard.

"Well, isn't that convenient? Right before our final push against the capital, you suddenly have an errand to run. Your four-year-old daughter, was it? Maybe you'll go see her and come back to us right away just like you said..."

In the blink of an eye, he pulled out his bow, readied an arrow and pointed it in Aizengard's direction.

"...Or maybe you'll visit someone else like, say, the king. Then maybe you'll tell him what our plans are for a little bit of gold in your pocket. Then maybe we'll be ambushed along the way and head straight from the battlefield to the gallows!"

He let the arrow go. It flew right past Aizengard only a few inches away from his face. He loaded another arrow and pointed it at Aizengard's head.

"That was for calling me 'pookie.' The next one sends you to meet the gods."

Aizengard glared at Elyan but the anger in his face vanished in seconds.

"Oh come now friend, what would I have to gain by turning you in to the King? Well aside from a little bit of money that is."
He said laughing a bit. "Let me give you a head up: The town I'm from, while near the capital, is about 7 days away on horse. Now then if you and your group haven't noticed I was gone by the first day then I'd be a little concerned though to be fair you DO seem the type to not notice something like that princess." He said trying to anger Elyan even further.

"Ah yes.... Princess has a nicer ring to it then pookie now doesn't it? Makes you sound like royalty! Now that there friend is a compliment." He said with a big, stupid grin on his face rubbing his hands. After saying that he snapped his fingers and vanished from sight, sneaking up behind Elyan and putting a knife to his throat.

"Now why don't you put the bow down princess and let the big boys will have a nice discussion about seeing my daughter..... understand." Aizengard said losing the cheer in his voice and replacing it with venom. "And word of advice pookie, next time you threaten my life a make me think of how it will affect Sara..... you don't want to know what I'd do to you."
