Elyan stopped for a moment and turned back to Valeria.
"Fine by me, we can use all the help we can get. If you have any more problems with anyone, I'll vouch for you. Just...keep your distance from Aizen-- he's the one who got all pissy and stormed off yesterday. He's hard enough to reason with even when he's not in a bad mood."
He turned back around towards the cave.
"For what it's worth, I think it's good to have you with us, Valeria. I'm gonna see if anyone else is waking up yet."
Saying that, he started to walk back into the cave.

Mathuriel surveyed his group, noting the new addition but deciding not to comment.
"Okay... are we all good to go? Who we missing?"

Ella walked back towards the cave
"Im assuming everyone is up?"
she looked around
"we need to get moving soon before the king sends more men looking for us. Now is our chance to strike. He will have his men out looking for us and will be short on staff so now is our chance to attack"
she started walking in the direction of the king

"My memories are vague. But judging by the crimson shade staining my clothing, that is slowly fading. I think I faught off a large portion of the kings army to protect Mathuriel, and Ella. I told them I'd catch up with them later, unless you know. I was dead." Carlyle held back a chuckle at the thought of his own death. "I appreciate you saving me. I didn't want to die, not then, not there. I have too many things I have to do before I die. so currently death isn't an option..."

Carlyle was inquisitve of Allora "... Why did you choose to master a bow, Though it is reliable at long range, when you're up close, you have no defense other than your animals, and a trained assassin could either silently get through them or pick off the bigger threat. not that I have anything against bows as an arrow just saved my life. Just an interesting choice. you face no real danger until it has closed in."

"Ah all right then." Aizengard said and walked into the cave trying to ignore Valeria's presence.

Elyan smirked at the news.
"So, we're finally getting to the main event."
He pulled out his bow and followed Ella. On the way, he stopped and turned to Valeria.
"You're sure about this, right? Things are about to get very dangerous."

Allora shrugged
"It was just something I found sitting along the road one day while traveling. I cleaned it up and practiced shooting it. Its came in handy for hunting"
she looked down at spirit
"well spirit hunts for me now, but before I found him i needed a way to eat"
she looked back at Carlyle
"I never thought about being an assassin"
at this point spirit quickened his pace and allora followed pursuit
"they are just up ahead, we better hurry if you want to catch them"


Ellas stopped looked back for a moment
"Is everyone here, are we all ready?"
she wanted to be sure everyone was ready before they headed towards the castle to go after the king

Zenith put her sword and tomes on her belt.
"I've got what I need." she said confidently.
Serena grabbed Zenith's hand and nodded.

Mathuriel started walking.
"If we're planning to take out the head of the snake, we should probably avoid the bulk of his forces. We need to get to a point where we can see his castle."
He was moving towards a large hill, one that would grant sight of the castle walls.
"Come on everyone. Let's go." What he left unspoken was that this was the last time they would be so casual. From here on out, it was killing time.

Ella followed behind Mathuriel
"It shouldn't be too far from here"
she looked back at the others
"I know from the estate i was at was about a 3 day travel to get there, we have already traveled two days"
As they reached the top of the hill they were able to see the castle

Mathuriel turned his head.
"That could help... any idea where they would be?"
He looked over his shoulder.
"Elyan, Aizengard, Zenith, Serena. Come closer, I'm only gonna get one shot at this."

Mathuriel closed his eyes, thinking.
"Ok. Assuming we had the element of surprise, how much damage do you all think you could do to the king in the space of, say... five seconds?"

"Hmm... I can use stealth based magic. I could always sneak around some of the soldiers and take out a few but that's it, a few. I can't use it for too long or I'll pass out."

Zenith came up beside Mathuriel. "So long as I have physical contact with my tomes, I can charge up a shot of each type of magic." She turned to Aizen. "You remember that, right?"

Ella's eyes started glowing
"I can send out a large lightening orb"
she held her hand up and within it was a ball of blue lightening
"If i can hit one it should spread out among the rest and give them a shock of their life"

Elyan's body started to glow as he channeled his energy through it, focused mainly on his right hand.
"If you give me a few more seconds before teleporting, I could blow through half the room as soon as we make it there. But after that, you'll need to cover me for a while. A Psionic attack this powerful is...difficult on my psyche. If I say or do anything unusual afterwards, try to ignore it."

Special characteristics: Laurence is just a shell. He has no distinguising characteristics, save for an odd circular scar on the back of his neck. Laurence is the host for an ancient demonic parasite, known as the Xan. The Xan is a changeling, but only when in control of a humanoid body. The Xan has no personality of its own, but is instead driven by the desires of its host. The Xan has many forms, each corresponding with one of the six "elements". Wind, water, fire, earth, light, and darkness.

The Xan must attune itself to the element of which he will shift into, meaning that it will only be able to use one form in between each attunement. As the host is human, it is limited to humanoid forms, augmented by its own power.

It has burrowed into Laurence's flesh at the back of his neck. Laurence is aware of its presence, but accepts it.

He loves the feeling of power.

Laurence took a deep breath. He loved that smell. Fresh blood.

He took a step over the mangled and grotesque corpse at his feet and retrieved his coin pouch.
"Damn thieves.. " he muttered.

He wiped the brain matter from the pouch, sending it off of his fingers with a flick.
He began to drag the dead boy, who couldn't be any older than 16, into a nearby Alley.

After he was finished, he proceeded to dust himself off, and put on a new pair of clothes. He would have to talk to the worm about adding his clothes into the change.. He only had two more sets of clothes in his pack.

He emerged from the Alley, freshly dressed and no one the wiser. He took a deep breath an d looked around.
"I could really use a drink.. "

"I personally don't like instruments of death. If I am too kill I will use my own hands unfortunately, I am forced to do such."

Carlyle paused in his speaking while he followed spirit.

"We will get to where we need to go before they abandoned post. I'm sure of it."

Jericho was silent for the entire walk. The new soldier right behind him. He was seconds away from the closest town, He and the newbie ventured into it blindly. It was busy on the main streets, but silent on the outskirts and side streets. A lust for destruction was hidden away inside of him. Everything he could destroy, the people he could murder. Keeping his urges under control he kept walking till he found a bar/tavern.

Upon entering no one paid any attention, His rookie just stood outside the door. He was nervous and had every right to be, once he sat down at the counter he ordered a black ale. Taking off his gloves revealed his maimed hand, His bones were practically popping out. Blood had ran below the gloves creating a gory grasp on the mug. He wiped off most of it on his sleeves. And took a small sip.

The kings actions were abundantly bothering him, which is why for the most part he remained silent. The first person on his bad side was the first person he would be killing.

Out of the corner of his eye, Laurence spotted a quaint little pub. It seemed quiet enough.

He pushed through the door and looked around, taking notice of everyone inside.
What an odd bunch.. he thought to himself.

Laurence found himself a dark corner in the bar. After he ordered a drink, he looked down at his nails. He could see blood and flesh underneath them. He began chewing at them vigorously. When the blood was gone, he inspected them one last time before slouching back into his seat and taking a swig of his drink.

He tried to shake it away, but for some reason, his scar was burning. As if the parasite was trying to say something.

A booming voice erupted in his head.

NOT LIKE. NOT LIKE PLACE! CHANGE! CHANGE!

Laurence shut the worm out of his mind before looking around again.
"Hmm..odd."
