"It very well could be. There isn't much sense in waiting for them to see us. So we may as well get in closer to them. I trust in your dog, spirit. It found me, so it must be capable of hunting down anything so long as it has its scent."

Carlyle walked up to spirit and pat its head in adoration. He liked the animal. And so he began to lead towards them. Spirit and Allora had already done the job they needed. Somehow suceeding.

Jericho had already finished his ale, Slamming the glass down on the table. He slowly began to stand up, His figure menacing overall the patrons of the bar. Picking up his gloves he put them back on. The moisture of wet blood still fill the gloves

"Alright." He said, Collected, and enthusiastically. "Who wants to try me first? Whoever can best me gets a free round of drinks." Knowingly there may not be anyone that can contest him, but overall will try.

"Now, Please. Think about your actions before acting out foolishly, for if you cannot best me, the wager is your life. If it is a stalemate, We have a drink together, and If you win, my life is yours to take."

He waited for a response from the crowd before he just went on a killing spree. He never looked up while he was speaking, he was looking into his mug the whole time.

Laurence let a wry smile creep across his lips is he stood up from his corner of them room and began walking ever closer to the obnoxious man.

"And what if I kill you?" Laurence asked, licking his lips.

Laurence placed both of his hands on the back of his neck and pushed, before a massive pain spread across his body. The front door to the pub whipped open, and, a gust of window began to envelope Laurence, before eventually becoming an eight foot tall tornado.

A large sword slashed through the winds, and they dissipated, revealing the Xan's wind form, and Laurence's favorite. A viciously powerful and violent creature, and unmatched in speed, to boot.
The creature aimed its large blade toward the man, while opening its one wing.
No expression, no words, he simply waited.

Jericho understood he couldn't take the man head on If the wind rushing in meant that he was as agile as the wind. However he knew he could outmanuver him. Though he decided to start a bit... cheap. He asked the bartender for more ale, and so he obliged. once he got his mug back. He simply took a sip. And turned over to look at the new figure.

"If you could kill me, I would welcome it, I welcome your attempts. However, You must remember you're looking at the angel of death himself." It was more-so a slang for his abilities, He wasn't no angel thats for certain. Upon taking one more sip. He turned toward the figure mug in hand. He gave cheers to the man. And violently swung the mug at his face, Shattering leaving glass shards poking out of the directed area. he followed up with a right jab to the jaw. And a kick to the stomach.

"We can take this outside, Or we can destroy this pub. Your choice my friend."

Jericho didn't have any time to relent, He began to charge towards the man though barbarically he was swift, maybe not as fast as this fighter, but capable of dodging speed. He was ready to draw his sword, which would be a first in a long time that he ever had to pull it out.

"Of course you can come along with me, Besides if thats not them, I'm sure they'll want trouble. so come on lets go."

Before Jericho's hand could ever reach the blade, the Xan struck.
All that the patrons of the pub could see was a streak of white, as the sound of metal clanged against the hard wooden floor. Jericho's sword strap had been cut, but no deeper than that. The Xan was an excellent swordsman.

The Xan crashed into a corner of the pub, nearly bringing down the wall. It was no trouble for the Xan though. It simply shrugged the debris off itself and continued holding it's sword towards Jericho.

The Xan would prefer to kill Jericho on the spot, but that was not Laurence's way.

Laurence enjoyed toying with his prey.

Once the distance was closed between Laurence and Jericho, instead of a charge in he waited for his opponents next move. In anticipation he sidestepped to the sword side and landed perfectly beside him. With positioning he placed his right leg between Laurence's and with all of his power forced him towards the ground, Though he would only be incapacitated for seconds, Jericho never fell with him, Instead he evaded back out of reach from the 8 foot figure.

The only thought crossing his mind was simply. 'He is a strong man. Looks like it's a challenge. Possibly a stalemate.' Him still incapable of his full potential, was frustrated
But his frustration only lead to him fighting better. Using his fallen sword as bait for Laurence, he stood nearby It and made a motion to go towards it. Allowing Jericho to get his sword could be fatal to Laurence.


"Dont be afraid to talk to them Alorra, They gave me a new beginning. Even after they were aware of what I had committed too. You'd be disappointed in me too If you knew the things I was ordered to do and follow up with."

Once Carlyle got in sight of the group he eagerly waited for them to look his way.

With an incredibly powerful gust of wind from his one wing, the Xan was on its feet.
With another gust, the Xan sent Jericho's sword darting across the room, eventually lodging itself on the back wall.

Using the split second opportunity of Jericho's shifting eyes as his sword blasted away, the Xan burst forward at more than the speed of sound, ramming its shoulder directly into Jericho's chest.

An audible crunch could be heard as his shoulder, and Jericho's sternum both fractured massively. The pressure of the hit sent Jericho flying into the back wall, almost bringing down the building, his body erupted into the alley. The Xan slowly stepped through the crack, its sword arm now next to useless as it could no longer be raised. The muscles had been shredded when his shoulder fractured.

Instead of switching arms like you would expect, the Xan simply raised its shield as the sword become one with its body again.

With its foot, the Xan slid Jericho his sword. It would let him draw it, if he chose to do so. The Xan was nearly out of energy, but his shield was impenetrable by everything short of a cannonball. It could no longer win, but it sure as hell wouldn't lose.

Jericho picked himself up from the debris. As it was all he could have done, Though the inital motion of picking up the sword felt like someone pierced his chest with a dagger. He was bleeding internally and he could feel it. Picking up his sword, He used it was a walking stick. The hilt in his hand, and the sheathed blade guiding his every footstep. Once he walked back to the pub he climbed up the hole in the side of the building. Agony in his eye, and in his walk. He rested his arms over his sword. and Happily smiled at Laurence.

"Well, You got me good, As you got yourself good, Judging by you placing your sword down. You fractured your shoulder." A sharp exhale was released from Jericho. Just another complaint to add to his list. He praised the man who could damage him to this extent. Though Jericho didn't try to do anything to serious to him. He knew that this fighter was an adept warrior.

"So, How about that drink?" Once the words left his lips. He Picked up his sword and began to walk towards the barstools. Sitting down as if nothing happened in the pub. The gaze of all the patrons were baffled, Absolutely perplexed at what they just saw. The bartender wasn't too happy either.



"WHO THE FUCK IS GOING TO PAY FOR ALL THE DAMAGES!" Was the words that left his mouth.

"Shut up and pour me and him a drink bitch." Was his simple response.

The Xan began walking towards the stool next to Jericho's as the shape slowly dissipated, revealing Laurence's stark naked body underneath. His shoulder was quite painful, but he was entirely considered about something else.

As he looked around at the stunned patrons of the bar, he erupted.

"God damn it worm! Would you stop destroying my fucking clothes!"

He went and retrieved another pair and put them on before sitting next to Jericho and quickly downing his drink. He pelted the barkeeper with a handful of gold coins before turning over to Jericho. Though annoyed with being hit, the barkeep quickly realized he had just been tossed a small fortune, and quickly brought another round of drinks.
He might be violent, and he might be a dick, but he wasn't one for screwing people over that hadn't wronged him.

"It's been a while since I've had that much fun. Props to you, friend."

Mathuriel looked over and saw Carlyle. "About time," he shouted.
"Get your arse down here! We're about to assault the king!"

Ella looked up when she heard Mathuriel call out to someone and looked in the direction of Carlyle
"So you're alive after all?"
she looked up at Mathruiel
"It looks like we are all here, shall we go?"


Allora walked up to everyone
"Hello again, hope you dont mind we tag along"
spirit walked up beside her and sat down


While Jericho was away, Divinity kept busy. If she wasn't reading while enjoying a nice cup of tea while sitting by the fire, or baking something sweet and delicious to satisfy her sweet tooth, she would spend most of her time out shopping which resulted in her being in the spare bedroom of the castle

"Well, that was the first time anyone ever broke something on me. Nonethelesss, The first time anyone ever stopped me from drawing my sword... Cheers!" No sooner than that he stood up still using his sword as a crutch. He couldn't apply too much pressure on his sternum, otherwise a bone could pierce his heart.

Once he began to walk, he remembered what he wanted to say. "You know, I am looking for someone of your talents to join me, in my quest of becoming the king. If anything happens from there I assume your ambitions will only guide you to success me. So what do you say, care to work with me? or do you care little for it?"

He continued his way onward, A Limp in his step to keep pressure away.

Carlyle ran towards the group. Without hesitation his head held high

"Turns out Allora is my sister. And nearly getting hung isn't quite fun. Glad to see you all made it away safely."

Mathuriel nodded to Allora and raised his eyebrow at Carlyle's words.
"Sweet. Congratulations, Carlyle, Allora. Let's not throw it away by dying now. Here's the plan."
He grinned, mischievously.
"Our best chance is to catch the king off guard. With that in mind, I'm going to dimension-warp the lot of us straight to his throne room. He shouldn't see it coming. Then, with maybe one or two of us keeping the guards distracted so they can't get reinforcements, the rest of us hit his Most Royal Dickhead with everything we've got. Ok?" He looked around to see if there were any objections.

Ella nodded
"Ready when you are"
she prepared herself for them to be transported



Allora smiled
"Well it beats sitting around doing nothing all day

Elyan raised an eyebrow at Carlyle, who was a complete stranger to him. But since everyone else seemed to know him, Elyan didn't say anything about it. He simply nodded and replied to Mathuriel.
"The sooner, the better. My powers are putting more of a strain on me by the second..."
He said that since he was still charging one of his more powerful Psionic attacks.

Laurence shrugged as he stood up from the bar stool.

"I care not for the so called "power" of men.

He smiled wryly as he walked closer to Jericho.
"I care for entertainment, and money."

"If its entertainment and money, Id take the offer I gave ya. There will be plenty of both. At any rate, I gotta be getting home. I'd suggest you follow me. Its a long road, and the company would be more than appreciated."

Carlyle had no objections. And was prepared to march in to kill the king at a moments notice.

"Lets do this."  

Mathuriel stepped close to everyone.
"Alright everyone."

He closed his eyes. A strange, foggy, ghostly energy emanated from him, obscuring the whole group. It suddenly became extremely hard to breathe. Nobody could see, nobody could move, nobody could escape it, nobody could -

"LET'S GO!!"

There was a sound like a thunderclap, a sensation like going over the edge of a waterfall -

Then it cleared, and the entire group was standing in the king's throne room.
The king's guards stared in shock, and instantly moved to engage the intruders.
The king himself sat in his shroud of shadow, gazing intently at the newcomers.

Ella eyes started to glow as the guards started to engage them, in her hand a lightening orb was being formed, She threw it towards the closest guards. As it struck one of the guards the lightening expanded lightening danced around from one guard to the next shocking several of them
"we need to get closer to the king"

"Like HELL we do!" Zenith yelled. She unleashed a torrent of water on the surrounding guards. She shot fire to incinerate the the king and used her wind magic to spin it into a pillar, consuming him.

"Well...it's about time."
His body glowing brightly, Elyan unleashed all of the energy he had stored up in a single attack. A massive shockwave spread out through the entire room, tearing through anything that got in its way. Any guards that weren't annihilated outright were gravely injured and thrown outside of the room. Even the structure itself had taken some noticeable damage. After this, Elyan fell down on his knees, panting to catch his breath.
"If they didn't notice us before...they definitely did now...get ready for reinforcements."
His vision started to blur and his mind became foggy. The attack took more out of him than he expected and caused more damage than he meant to inflict.

Laurence got up from the bar stool and followed behind the man lethargically.

"why not?" he said to himself.
