Katia nodded her head, then she turned the corner. She carefully looked around, then turned back to Talon. "We need to find a car." She spoke softly. "There aren't many vampires awake at this hour, so getting out of here will be fairly easy...but we still need to be discrete."

Talon pulled a hood over his head, and walked alongside her, "Alright.....should be easy if we're careful."

Katia nodded her head, as she spotted a black car down the street. She looked at Talon and nodded towards the car. "That one." She whispered.

Talon quietly approached the black car, then stopped when against the door, looking back at Katia.

Katia rushed the car, and looked at Talon. "This is your last chance to change your mind." She said to him.

Talon shook his head, "My mind is adamant in this decision, you won't find me wanting to change it."

Katia nodded her head, as she unlocked the car door, and got in. She then slid over to the passenger's side of the car. "Let's get going then, before our absence is discovered."

Rainer stood up, and looked around the room, "Katia!" He called out.

Talon slipped into the car as well, "Yeah, I think the blowhard might be waking up about now."

Katia looked at Talon and smiled faintly. "Then I suggest that you lay rubber then."

Talon nodded, starting up the car immediately, and taking off at full speed.

Looking around, Rainer shouted, "Katia, are you here?"

As the car sped off, Katia put on her seat belt. "We should avoid main highways." She suggested, as she looked at Talon.

Talon nodded, deciding to take the backroads as they travelled.

Rainer ran out of the house, and smelled the air, "She's already so far away........dammit!!!!" He started following her scent as best he could, running at full speed.

As they drove, Katia removed her seat belt and rested her head on Talon's shoulder. "I hope you don't mind." She spoke softly.

Talon shook his head, "Not at all." He drove at a fast rate, but the ride remained smooth.

As they drove, Katia looked at Talon. "How long have you wanted me?" She asked in a soft tone.

Talon simply said aloud, "Since the moment my eyes met yours."

Katia looked at Talon, as she lifted her head off his shoulder. "Seriously?!" She said, as a puzzled expression formed on her face. "You were all but begging me to kill you."

Talon sighed, "I was scared at first, but I still wanted you. Besides, I feel as though I've always had communication issues......." Several memories flashed before his eyes.

"Well being on the run won't help with that." Katia replied, as she rested her head on his shoulder. "Do you still have no memory of the life you had as a human?" She asked out of curiosity.

Talon shook his head, "I've a few memories, here and there.....none of them......." The two of them were approaching another city.

"I suppose it's better than nothing." Katia looked towards the approaching city. "The vampires I told you about, they live here." She spoke softly. "Though they live in a dive...but it's better than no roof at all."

Talon was driving through the streets, "Just tell me where to stop, okay....."

Katia sat up in the seat. "Right there." She pointed to a run down building. "They'll be there."

Talon pulled and stopped. Next, he got out of the car, walked over to her door, and opened it, offering her his hand.

Katia took Talon's hand, as a young teen aged girl walked out of the building, carrying a sliver thin sword. Her long pink-ish hair blew gently in the breeze.
"Why are you here, Katia?" The teen girl demanded, almost as if she thought that Katia was here to bring her in for something.
"I'm not here to take you into the counsel, Ushi." Katia said, as she got out of the car. "We're escaping them ourselves."
The teen girl- Ushi- smiled faintly, as she opened the door. "You'll need to talk to Asher about that."
