He turned his body and got out of bed, the proceeded to looking for his clothes

fay got up and walked over to where she laid her clothes and started to undress
"i wonder what arthur and stake did all night"

Flint shrugged as he found his clothe and began to strip,
"No idea, hopefully keep the boat on track for one..."

"im sure they are"
she smiled as she clipped on her dress and started zpping up the back
"when we get to the next town i need to do a little shopping or a few things"

He finished changing and looked at her,
"Books?"

she shook her head
" no clothes, i figured i would purchase a few change of clothing since we will be traveling for a while"

"That makes sense",
Flint walked towards the door,
"I wonder if there is anything to do on this ship.."

Stake hadn't slept. Neither had Arthur. Neither had really felt much like sleeping, and neither truly needed it.

"If you're bored," his voice suddenly resounded throughout the ship, "I do have a research library down below deck in my quarters. You two bookworms should find it fascinating... and NO YOU CANNOT DESTROY ANY OF THEM!"

fay looked at flint
"would you like to go check out the library or go up on deck? either way im up for it"

He thought for a moment,
"Up to you, I don't mind what we do as long as we do it together",
he laughed awkwardly at his cheesy comment

she thought for a moment
"how about we go up on deck and see where we are at and enjoy the view, then go down and look through the library"

"Sounds good",
he opened the door for her

fay walks out the door and heads to the upper deck where arthur and stake were
"how are you two doing?"
she waits for flint

Flint follows a short distance behind. He may or may not have purposely waited while she went up the stairs.

Stake smiled at her.
"I'm fine..."

Arthur seemed to have taken root, long brown roots sinking into the ship and doing everything a crew would be doing.
"Having fun, sailing the seas, that sort of thing. What about you? Did my not watching you inspire any sort of friskiness?"

fay crossed her arms
"i told you we planned to take things slow, besides why would we tell you what we did"

Flint decided to watch and let this play out...

"No reason not to, being honest - remove the ego, instill the omnipresence of the id, combine with the super-ego and it's honestly easy..."

He sighed. "You're not very forthcoming... suggests you've got something to hide...have any plans with him then?"

fay shook her head
"i have nothing to hide, and if we did have plans thats between the two of us:

Flint can't help but wonder what she is thinking

"Whatever. Foreplay and whatnot is fascinating to me, but privacy and such is fanatically important to you paranoid humans."

Stake tilted his head, looking like he wanted to ask something.
"Why do you like Flint in that way? What is it about him?"

Flint looked at Stay then over to Fay, interested in her answer

she thought for a moment
"well he is nice, and he has the same interest as me and i enjoy spending time with him"

Flint couldn't help but feel disappointed by the answer, however it was perfectly reasonable at this stage in the relationship

Stake nodded, seemingly satisfied with her answer.

Arthur sighed, and looked out to the sea.
"Young love, I believe. Sweet, really, really sweet. It's touching... exclusive to humans..."
