Flint shook his head,
"No, it's fine... we can stay for a bit longer",
He rested back against the pillow,
"Not like there is anything else to do..."

fay thought for a moment
"well there is something we can do"
she got up, walked over to her satchel and pulled out one of her books and handed it to him then got back in bed next to him
"make it come to life, i have another copy of this book"

He watched her get up, admiring her figure as she walked to the book... The next moment he was handed a book however,
"Um, sure",
he sat up and adjusted the pillows to make the backboard more comfortable while sitting on it,
"May I ask what book it is? It helps to have a rough idea of what it is about before I bring it to live..."

she smiled
"its my favorite book of course, i couldnt have just one copy so i bought two but i want to see it come to life again"

"Pride and Prejudice?",
He smiled and opened the book, gliding his hands over it as the words sprang out and began to form shapes. They were playing out the story

she rests her head on his shoulder watching as the story played out
"i have always loved this story, have you ever read it?"

"No, I always fancied fantasy books and such...",
He looked from the book to her,
"Not to say they never had their drama or romance in..."

she looked at flint
"and what is your favorite book?"

"My favourite?",
he thinks for a second, scratching his head as he does so,
"I have never really thought about it... But I guess it would be one that speaks of love, romance... action and adventure... maybe even betrayal.. Oh and penguins",
He laughs,
"Guess my favourite would be a dictionary"

He moved back to the hole in the wall, and looked through it.
He watched them play with the magics with a sudden feeling of sadness.

"I can't help but wonder... did our creator simply not care? About us?"

Stake opened his eyes, and was listening intently.
"I... I don't know..." he said quietly.
"All we have... is loneliness."

Arthur nodded sadly. "I have, unfortunately, to agree..."

"a dictionary, but thats just a bunch a words, its not a story"
she chuckled a little
"no favorite book at all?"

"Why pick a favourite when I can love them all"

she thought for a moment
"thats true"
she watched the images from the book
"you think maybe we should get out of bed now?"

He shifted slightly,
"Probably..."

fay sat up and got out of bed
"do you think we should change or just keep what we have on?"

"Up to you... My outfit just looks like shorts and a tshirt so I should be fine..."

"Neither me, nor Stake, are bothered in the slightest!"

Arthur shouted through the door, having been examining their waking routines.
"Ignore us completely!"

fay hears stake though the door
"well thats a lot easier said then done when your spying AGAIN"

Flint looked at the door,
"Don't make me burn this place down..."

"I have told you! IT IS NOT SPYING, IT IS OBSERVING!"

There was a huff, from the other side of the door.
"I really don't understand your reluctance to take part in my research! It doesn't harm you at all... my word, humans are so..."
Then a silence.
Then an oddly choked, "Oh, just do what you want."

fay looked over to flint
"well im assuming since we spent half the day in bed there is no point in changing, but i am a but hungry, how about you?"

Flint looked at Fay and smiled,
"Sure, I just hope they have food here... Had enough Pie for a while"

Upon hearing this, Arthur walked out of the door, going shopping for more food.

Stake, meanwhile, was still encased in rock, only his head visible.
"Hello...? Can I...? Great."
He relaxed, waiting to talk to the others when they emerged.

fay headed out the door she turned back
"you coming or staying in bed all day"
she smiled and headed into the room where stake was in
"how you holding out?"

He pulled himself out of bed and followed her, stopping just a short distance behind and looking at Stake,
"Yo"
