Flint shuddered from the thought of drinking such a thing,
"The effort is appreciated... just not the taste"

fay looked at author
"did you just say goat saliva..do i even want to know what else was in it ?"

ella got up, and followed ren into the diningroom, sitting down in her seat at the table
"what is for dinner this evening?"

Flint looked up at the sky,
"So we going to make some progress before it gets too dark?"

Ren smiled,
"Whatever you want, I'm cooking tonight"

"No. Well, if goat saliva upsets you anyway..."

fay stood up
"then let get going if you ant to leave we might be able to make some head way"
she looked at author
"i wouldnt know what it taste like"

"what ever you feel like making i can eat just about anything"

Flint nods and begins to pack up the tend,
"Lets get everything away then",

Ren sighs and heads into the kitchen,
"Is pasta okay?"

Arthur huffed again and started packing his stuff into a box, grumbling about ungratefulness and perfectly good goat saliva going to waste...

fay nodded and started to help pack up the tent, she heard author huff
"are you ok there?"

ella nodded
"yes pasta will be fine, would you like any help?"

"Oh, fine, fine... just thinking of all the poor goats who had their saliva ungratefully wasted..."

Flint shook his head as they finished packing it away,
"We ready to go?"

Ren shook her head again,
"Its fine..."

fay looked around to make sure they have everything
"yeah im ready"

ella nodded
"o if you need any help just ask i dont mind"

After a while of walking through the desert again, the day began to turn to night, and it was generally agreed that a rest would be prudent.
So they all set up camp, blissfully unaware of the colossal danger they had all walked into...

Arthur set down the box again.
Then he looked at the others again.
"Well, now what? You two off into your tent and fondling each other with romantic whispers again...?"

Flint looked over to Arthur,
"You could of bought your own tent you know"

Ren came back out with two bowls of pasta, placing one in front of Ella,
"Here you go".
Ren smiled and sat down with hers

fay shook her head
"then there would be more to carry, we could always share but then..."
she trailed off

ella took the bowl and placed it in front of her
"thank you ren"
she looked around
"where is my brother isnt he joining us for dinner?"

Flint looked at Fay,
"But then...?"

Ren began to eat,
"No... He had to leave for a few days"

she leaned in and whispered in his ear
"be able to have any fun"

ella took a few bites of her food
"did he say where he was going?"

Arthur rolled his eyes.
"Oh, Lord preserve us... I don't need a tent. I'll just -"
Roots sprang from Arthur's plant body and in an instant he was rooted to the floor.
"There. I keep watch all night anyway. No need to sleep, unlike you two, and you two have..."
There was a slight pause.
"...things to do with and to each other..."

Flint blushed then looked at Arthur,
"Erm, yes.. okay... plus the tent only has room for two..."

Ren nodded,
"He went to Vanguard's scar... to his... grave...",

"i guess that works also"
he leaned in and whispered to flint again
"at least he didnt ask to observe us"
she chuckled

she looked down at her bowl, she was no longer hungry she was somewhat upset with her brother for not taking her with him but she didnt want to upset ren with her being pregnant, she kept her cool and spoke in a calm voice
"why didnt he wake me?"

Flint paused and then lowered his voice,
"...Face it... If he wanted to, he would".

Ren shook her head again,
"It wasn't of his choosing, so to say... Someone sent him a letter"

Arthur gave an irritated snort, starting to feel hurt inside at the conversation.
"I am a SCIENTIST, not a PERVERT!"

Flint sighed,
"I never said you were a pervert... merely that you did things similar to a pervert..."

"even if its for 'scientific' reasons, you still peep in on people, and how do we know your actually taken note when you are peeping on us"

she looked up at ren
"a letter?..what did it say?"

Flint looks at Arthur then Fay,
"That is a point... What does he do?"

Ren shrugged,
"No idea, he just said he was going to the grave"

Arthur scowled at them both.
"You are implying that I take pleasure from such activities and would not respect your privacy if you were to ask me to cease and desist! I am affronted! I am scandalised! I am, dare I say it, verbally savaged! I am not a common drooling lout, I am an intellectual!"

And in response to Flint, he pulled out a notebook from a side pocket that was filled with text.
"And here are my notes, in case you were wondering if I was lying and spent all that time drooling through a peephole!" he shouted, hurt blistering through his voice.
He threw it into Flint's chest, then stormed off before either of them could react, starting to cry...
