Flint looked at Arthur then back at Fay then back to the Pie, he sighed and stood up, turning to face Fay as he did so.
A few moments pass in which he just looked at her,
"I may regret this in about 5 seconds but...",
he gritted his teeth and embraced her

A hug? is that it...? man I suck...

at first fay was shocked by his hugging her but she accepted it and hugged him back
"are you still regretting this?"

"I don't feel any pain... so no...",
he laughed awkwardly then broke the hug and rubbed the back of his head

"I'm a homunculus as well, my lady. No sense in putting pain in things like us. And that's more like it, there - admitting attraction, the first step..."

Stake wriggled slightly, not feeling well at all...

Flint blushed and looked down again,
"Erm... what now...?",
he looked from Fay to Arthur and back to Fay

fay looked at stake
"do you feel pain?"
she looked at arthur
"you might only be a homunculus but your still a living being"
she looked at flint
"i..dont know"

Flint shrugged and looked at Arthur and Stake,
"So what exactly are you doing?"

Stake slowly shook his head, looking very uncomfortable.
"Pain's too strong a word... I feel very... bad..."

Arthur tutted.
"Oh, just give me a moment would you? And techically, homunculi are no more alive than a curse or spell. We're walking spells. Now hold still whilst I carve you up..."

Flint wanted to say something but found his vocabulary rather lacking in this situation, instead he just looked with shock and mild interest.

I don't even want to know...

fay walked over and grabbed his hand
"either way he is still uncomfortable with you doing that, please stop, what is the purpose of this anyways?"

Flint pulled out a small piece of paper from his pocket along with a pencil and wrote down the word fire,
"Do as she says or I might accidentally start a fire..."

He gulped very slightly.
"I'm sorry, but... I'm going to have to insist no flames. I burn easier than the paper in your hands there...

Stake gave a low groan.
"Something feels... off..."

He peeked inside Stake's back and winced.
"Oh dear... excuse me, I think he needs a bit of help... some fire actually would be helpful right now, just over here would be the ticket..."

He walked over and lifted the word from the paper, it turned to fire as it left the paper,
"Why do you need it?"

Arthur looked sheepish.
"I think I may have started a spinal collapse... without the proper heat to weld it, he's going to crumple up into a lump of clay that can speak if we don't address this, but the fact being he was built for labor, not for combat! His body's cracked and broken, what has he been doing, wrestling trolls? He has, hasn't he?"

Stake suddenly gasped and began to writhe a little.
"This... feels... BAD..."

Flint just sighed,
"Tell me what needs doing and I will do, okay?",
he then looked down at Stake then back at Arthur
"Also if this results in his death... I will kill you next..."

"He can't die, just be very very inconvenienced. Now, shove that flame in there and start molding his spine into a straight line, there's a good chap..."

Stake growled like he wanted to hit something, and his body started to twist in places.
"Please... this... this isn't nice..."

He lowered the flame and began to do as instructed,
"Like this?"

fay just stood there and watched
"is there anything i can do to help?"

ella woke up after sleeping for a long time, she hadnt slept for days she woke up and looked around the room
"how long did i sleep for?"

Daemon looked at Ella,
"Only a day or so..."

Arthur looked over his shoulder.
"Yes... yes... that's it. We've got to stabilize his structure and repair him or else he'll shatter like a plate of fine china. Come on, a little more... then there's the issue of his "flesh", but fortunately I've got a plan for that... but a little more..."

He looked up at Ella. "I'm going to need you in a minute... or rather he will... moral support..."

Flint finished the work,
"There... will that do?"

"Well, I suppose. Sorry Stake, grit your teeth."

And before anyone could react, he'd clicked his fingers, a pit of molten rock had opened in the floor, and he'd tossed Stake into it.

"Right. Now, the moral support..." He stepped away from them, putting the pit between him and them.

"Now, don't be alarmed..."

Flint jumped back pulling out another bit of paper,
"Don't be alarmed?!"

she looked down at the pit
"moral support you just threw him in there, what am i supposed to do?"

[color=#66FFFF][she looked up at her brother
"a day or two why didnt anyone wake me?"/color]

Ren spoke up,
"We thought it be best if you slept..."
