Aizengard turned to Zenith.
"I don't care if my village is there anymore. All I care about is my daughter Sara and I need to know if she's still there. What if it was your child or Serena? Would you change your mind then? Would you have us go off course to look for them? Either way if no one else is coming then I'll do it on my own."

After catching up to everyone else, Elyan joined the conversation.

"No, we can't talk about splitting up now. I say we make for the village."

He turned to Zenith and spoke in a calm, but slightly stern tone.

"If we can't handle a few guards terrorizing a small village, what chance do we have against the king? We'll be fine. Let's just see if there's anyone left that we can help and we'll be on our merry way."

Mathuriel was unfocused, thinking about it.
"Zenith," he said softly.
"Even if we went up to the king now, and stopped him, would you be prepared for sleepless nights because every time you close your eyes you'd see them, screaming for help behind the lids?"
He looked at Aizengard.
"We go. Together. Now lead the way. End of argument."
He paused.
"If there was one. Anyways, let's go!"

"Thanks." Aizengard said.
"Are you coming with us Cora?"

Cora was terrified to go back to the village but she also wanted to know if sarah was ok. She gave a slight nod
"Yes I'll go with you, I might not be of much use if there are guards there but I'll do my best"



Ella nodded at the conversation
"Then its settled we go to find Aizenguards daughter then go after the king. At least this will give us a few days to prepare our attack on the king"
She looked at Aizenguard
"Lead the way"

Aizengard nodded his head at Ella's words.
"It should be to the north if I'm not mistaken." Saying this he turned to Cora.
"And there's no need to worry. As long as you stay by me I won't let you get hurt."

Cora smiled
"Thank you Aizen, you always did look after me, even when i was little you were like an older brother to me"
She started walking towards their village


Ella followed behind Aizneguard and Cora, her eyes surveying around them


OOT if you want to move on we can just skip the travel and say we approach the village up to you guys

OOT: Personally, I'm going to wait until Heizengard gives his post, as there's no point if he can't do it.

Zenith looked Mathuriel dead in the eye.
"Do you forget I elected to accept whatever fate befell my own village because of that same belief? My sleep would be no less disturbed."
She followed quietly behind the others regardless.

OOT: I'm fine with advancing to the village if no one else cares

The group arrived at the small village which was in shambles. The streets and houses were completely empty except for a few that managed to go into hiding. Some houses had been burned, some looked as if they were going to collapse, there were a few that only had a few broken windows or the doors busted in. The village was in turmoil


Cora slowly walked alongside aizen as they walked through the village
"our home..its..gone"
she was terrified being back in the village after the attack

A note fell through the spaces from the barred window. The content of it was detailed instructions on what to do with during the public hanging. The town wasn't awfully populated. But they did support the king and his decisions. Shortly after Carlyle read the paper. He ate it, if the guards found out he had any form of letter, they would delay the hanging. A door freaked open, it echoed throughout the entire holding block. The ironclad sound of boots and chainmail grew louder each passing moment until finally. "BANG BANG BANG" It was his jailcell with his holding buddy.

"It's time." the only words uttered as he was unlocking the cell. He walked over to the slender man in the cell grabbing him by his arm and overpowering him to the exit. A second guard followed behind him and walked towards Carlyle.

"I can walk myself, there is no need to drag me." said Carlyle.

The guard smirked at him "No. You don't have any rights in here. I will drag you if I damn please." Carlyle mocked him silently. The guard knew, so he raised his right hand and drove it in his face. Carlyle went with the punch and spit on the floor on the side of the guard. His countenance was livid, his demeanor wanted blood. Upon this the guard called in backup and 2 of them grabbed each shoulder and dragged Carlyle.

"Fuck you." Carlyle said to the guards, plain and simple. Once they caught up with the guard bringing his holding mate they walked together down the street. Anyone in the town could clearly see them, In their house or outside. They walked to the center of the town where the stage for public executions were held. A priest was already up at the podium praying for the men.

The guards walked them up, and quickly tied the noose around their necks. A public speech was beginning.

"Ladies, Gentleman, Boys and Girls!"

Carlyle looked up at the trees and was hoping that this new entity, "Allora" Was going to be there.

Aizengard tilted his head down at the sight before him and stood there in silence. After a moment a look of fear came to his face and he ran into the ruins of the village.
"Sara!" He shouted hoping for an answer.

"Speeches. Huh."
He picked his nose, completely unconcerned.
"Might as well calm down. Not much you can do."

Mathuriel couldn't stop himself shedding a tear at the devastation.
"The bastard...the scum..."
A tear fell.
Then he saw Aizengard running off and chased after him.
"Don't! They could still be around! Wait!"

Allora kept watch on the hanging stage. She had noticed the noose being tied around the mens neck. She looked down at spirit who was resting at the base of the tree
"him?"
spirit sniffed the air and gave her a slight nod
"alright then lets do this, skye you know what to do"
Allora lowered herself on one of the large branches of the tree, laying on her belly, her crossbow in front of her resting on the branch. She started aiming for the rope of the noose. Lining up for her shot. Spirit flew out of the tree, made a few circles around the town then rested on a roof of a building. Allora had her finger over the trigger waiting for the right moment

Cora stayed with the group as aizen went to look for sarah
"do you think he will find her?"
she had a worried expression

Ella walked slowly through the town
"Just like the rest of them, they come in destroy then leave, sometimes random guards stay behind to patrol the area for those that manage to escape and decide to come back afterwards"
She looked at the group
"Its best we dont stay too long just in case they aren't to far"

Aizengard kept running and shouting out Sara's name, but he never got a response. His running slowed down to a stop so he could catch his breath till he heard the sound of walking nearby. Aizengard clung his back to what used to be the village's pub and hushed his breathing. He peaked around and saw what looked to be a knight digging through the rubble of a house. Aizengard's eyes flashed red with rage. He knew the man who owned the house he was looking through. He was a friend of Aizengards and seeing this he could no longer stand it. Aizengard drew his sword and ran up to the knight screaming. The knight didn't respond in time and Aizengard stabbed his sword through the knights neck. He heard another man's voice coming from another direction.

"What's going on over there!?" The other knight said walking over to where the noise was coming from. Aizengard heard the sound of multiple footsteps drawing near.

Shit! I should have been quieter! He thought to himself as he tried to flee but the knights found him.

Carlyle finally caught a gaze of her crossbow. "I might survive" he thought to himself. Turning to his right he caught a quick look at his cell mate.

"I will see you on the other side friend."

the preacher had finished his speech, and prayers, the town was packed at the center. Everyone began to cheer while the executioners began to pull the levers on the stage. One by one men were hanging finally he reached him and his cell mate. He began to pull the lever about halfway when Carlyle blurted out to the executioner "duck."

He ignored the words and finished pulling the lever. The man started to walk towards Carlyle. The shot needed to be taken now before he were to die.

One of the attacking knights was suddenly drenched, and then started screaming as he was picked apart by piranhas with metal teeth.
Two more were suddenly grabbed by huge tentacles and dragged, yelling, through a dimensional rift to some ancient sea world.
The remaining group wavered, wondering if it was worth it to avenge their comrade.
A moment later, the choice was made for them as a dimensional rift opened directly above their heads and a swarm of vicious bees, each the size of a man's head, buzzed angrily onto them, stinging and stabbing.
"Gods, I hope they don't breed..."
Mathuriel grabbed Aizengard and pulled him backwards, behind the pile of rubble.
"Next time, try not to deafen your enemy before killing them," he dryly advised.
"Now calm down so we can get the hell out of here!"
More clanking and the whizz of crossbows announced the arrival of reinforcements and he swore.
"Oh, ****ing hell...GUYS!! A LITTLE HELP!"

He stabbed one of the knights in his neck with his dagger and another with his sword.
"I'm not leaving yet! We can handle them! Let's just kill them and I can continue searching for my daughter!"

Allora pulled the trigger the arrow went flying in the air shredding the rope just above carlyle's head. the arrow landing on a beam behind him attached to it was a drawing of a duck
"well I guess now we wait"
She noticed the other man next to carlyle and wondered if she should help him as well. She pulled another arrow and placed it in her crossbow and began to aim it at the rope


A sudden blast of electricity struck several of the guards causing them to fall to the ground, behind them stood ella her eyes blazing blue. She was keeping an eye out for the guards and had watched them approach and managed to sneak up behind them. Some of the guards had been to far for her blast to strike them but she managed to pull a gun from her holster and aimed it at the other guards
"I really do hate these guys"
She looked over at mathuriel
"you guys ok?"

From his vantage point on the rooftop, Elyan shot the enemy knights in rapid succession, his anger at their razing of the village showing clearly on his face.
"Three...four...five..."
As he continued counting his fallen enemies, he soon noticed that a small group of soldiers had made their way to the roof that he was on. His eyes started to glow a light blue as they approached him.

"Rebel scum! How many of you do we have to kill?!"
The knights drew their swords and charged at him.

"Bad idea. Very bad idea."
Elyan turned around and launched them into the air with a powerful psionic burst. If the initial attack didn't kill them, the fall certainly would. He then jumped down to join the rest of the group, shooting another knight on the way. He turned towards Aizengard.
"For once, we can agree on something! Let's clear them out so we can get back to more important things!"

Mathuriel got up.
"We seem to be OK! Now, Aizengard, get looking! We'll hold them off!"
He focused, and with a click called forth a massive hole in space-time that resulted in several knights being crushed into tins by the overwhelming vacuums of space.
"...I AM OVERDOING IT!"
He closed it, then picked up a crossbow, started shooting.
"Any time, Heizengard!?"

"Okay!" Aizengard ran to where his house was in hopes of finding Sara there. When he made it there he saw that most of his house was gone. He ran into the remains of the house and began to look. "Sara!" He shouted but he got no reply. Anger and sadness was welling up inside him by this point and he ran out of the house.

OOT its fine. i finally got some time to reply since im at work and have nothing to do might as well RP a bit lol. a nice break from moving


Ella shot blast after blast of lightening at the kings army knocking them out one by one.
"We need to hurry it wont be long before the entire army will be here. I'm sure word got back to the king thats this town is under attack and he will be sending more men to take use down"
She shot another large blast towards a small group of them. She started to feel the affect of using so much of her ability draining her


Cora followed behind aizenguard. She figured she would be more help trying to find sarah then fighting.
"SARAH!!"
she called out then listened for any sound. she looked over to aizenguard
"Any luck?"

"No I can't find her! I don't think she's here. Damn it!" Aizengard slammed his fist on a wall.
