Nuck howled as blood arched through the air, a new gash in his arm as searing hot lead ripped through the muscle.

"Stop talking. Start walking, girl."

Patience looked over at nuck as she heard the gun go off. She gasped as the sight of the blood from his arm. She started backing away from the table. Turning around and made her way outside as she was told keeping her hands in the air with the guns pointed at her. She turned to face them when she got outside
"What are you going to do to us?"

Daniel, Inhaled a drag from his cigarette, as he walked in closing the distance between him and spike. They were face to face, and upon that. he exhaled, blowing out all the smoke at Spikes face. It was a means of insult. Resting hte cigarette back on his lips, he began.

"Spike, You are a Egotistical, Self centered, Narcissistic, Douche bag. I gave YOU a DIRECT ORDER to CLEANSE this town, Not to HARASS 2 Innocent Civilians MENTALLY, PHSYICALLY, and SEXUALLY. None the less, You think it is OKAY that you can do these things. I told you to FIX THE TOWN not DESTROY IT, the ONLY unity that was even brought about in this god damn town was UNITY to catch 2 Innoccent bystanders. You should be stripped as Sherrif as you stripped that other assshole before you."

The men around the room, were more tense now that Daniel was stating a clear flaw in Spikes accordance to demands. Their fingers just barely squeezing the trigger to their guns, Daniel however was prepared for anything. whether he be hit, shot at, etc. If he wasn't he could very well die in the saloon.

"Now, Spike, We're gonna begin doing things my way, by the books. Otherwise, You'll be attracting people like enigma back to this place, And though it seemed like You were going to be able to defeat him, He did more damage to the town than you did trying to dispose of him. Fear is the furthest thing of him, I just prefer we keep people like him away. As Your partner I will follow you. However, YOU MUST FOLLOW MY ORDERS, Otherwise, You'll become too much of a liability, and I don't take kindly to liabilities."

Daneil pretty much said he was going to kill spike if he didn't change his ways, and so. he prepared for anything to come.

Lewis released Paxton's shoulder from his grip, he was smiling welcomly, and homely towards the new father. He was more than glad to hear that Paxton was willing to at bare minimal kill the werewolve threat that was approaching this town. Reaching to his rifle holster placed on his back he pulled out his repeater. It was loaded, but his hand remained off of the trigger, He Showed the barrel of the gun to Paxton, it had 25 Tallies, all of which meant he killed 25 people. Though Paxton may not know that, he will once he kills another person.

Another decorative piece was added to it, the wooden stock, and wooden grip both had different crosses on it. one was a pagan located on the stock, on the grip was a Golden Crucifix with the lord and savior on it. though it wasn't off of the gun it gave it character.

"Father, truth be told, there won't be anyone other than Daniel, Spike, and I escorting you to the De Mayo base, From what I've heard they were keeping WereWolve humans as pets. and even working on a drug to activate said abilities during any time of the day. it is at least, what I've been told by a reputable informant."

Turning away from paxton he walked towards the pew he previously sat at, And got on his knees, and began to pray. He only prayed for saftey and guidance by gods hand during the raid they were to commit soon.

The men pointed at two very old and frail horses out back, next to some very well-fed and healthy horses.
"Give us your guns. Then get on that horse and start riding towards the canyon."
In the distance, the canyon could be seen in the darkening sky as a foreboding misty grey mass...


Spike very coolly cricked his neck, and waved at his men to lower their guns.
"It's ok, it's ok, boys. A man is, after all, entitled to his criticisms."
Albeit reluctantly, weapons were lowered.

Spike nodded thoughtfully.
"I can see your logic. If that's what you wanna do, then fe-ine by me. I'll just say I was drunk as a lord or sommin. You take the reins on this little plan then."

The men around him looked at Spike with concern. If any of them had dared raise their voices or blow smoke in Spike's face, they would have been dead before the bullet in their heads finally came to rest in their brain matter.

"Boys, go spread the word that I was drunk and that those people were even worse than previous. Maybe stick a few counts of bestiality in there or whatever..."

Spike wandered upstairs, putting his feet up on the sheriff's chair, dipping his hat over his eyes.
"...'l all be worth it when ey come back..." he smiled to himself, reclining in the light of the sinking sun and ignoring Daniel completely.

Patience took the two guns out of her holster and handed it to the men. She looked over at the horses then back at the men
"Id rather walk"
She started walking towards the canyon

The men leveled their guns at her, and one drew closer.
"Yeah, I'm not believing that's all your firepower, lady."
He cracked his knuckles.
"Arms out by your sides. Just for our safety, this is gonna be a strip search."
A few men looked at Patience with dark smiles upon hearing that...

patience sighed
"Fine"
She reached down in between her breast and pulled out a small gun then handed it to him. She then pulled the skirt up to her hip on her right leg and pulled another gun out. Then threw the hem of her skirt down. and handed him the gun
"Happy?"

"Spike!" He shouted as he walked away "Have you forgot you got business to attend to, and considering your antics you probably forgot to get the TNT. I Anticipated such, and already made preparations."

Daniel turned around and walked towards the door of the saloon. Upon doing so he pulled out 50 gold coins and threw them all on the floor for his guards to pick up. Opening the door he walked back to his house. He opened his door and entered, he kept it open so he could see outside and enjoy the weather.

Cracking open a bottle of whiskey, He began to sip on the handle. Only 1 shot for now, he waited patiently for everyone. They were all gonna enjoy and savor the taste.

Nuck had already been stripped of his guns.

"You still wanna walk?"

The men had mounted and had their guns dead on her.
"So here's the deal. Walk. You try to run, we shoot."

They ushered the pair to walk, at gunpoint, in direction of the canyon.

Spike laughed.
"Never think I'm not reliable. I'll get round to it. Eventually."
As he spoke, the explosives were carted round the back of the building to be stockpiled by his men.
"Just lucky fer you I got around to it pretty quick!"
He chuckled, sinking back into a dark thoughtful stupor.

Patience didnt say anything. She turned on her heel and started making her way towards the canyon. She walked closer to nuck and lowered her voice
"Are you ok?"
she looked at his wounds

Patience nodded
"Im fine"
she looked at his arm
"we need to stop the bleeding at least"
She ripped a piece of fabric off her shirt and used it to wrap his arm, as she tied it on she spoke
"I'm sorry about the way you were treated"
She looked ahead of them
"I just wonder what they intend to do to us, I'm sorry I lost the game"

Daniel sat back in a relaxed position, once again offering paxton alcohol. His inquisitive nature made him more than happy to have him on board with the raid, It wasn't going to be fun or easy for anyone. But, Paxton is going to have a harder time than the most of them.

"Well, We plan on taking out active patrol, They switch every hour. Which means, we have an hour to be smart in our approach, meaning no guns, no explosives, and no loud noises, until the patrol is taken out. I dont expect to encounter much resistance, but tonight is a full moon, and if these mythical creatures exist that you speak of. They will be active in guarding, unfortunately. Once they pick up our scent, they'll come running for us. Now... The unfortunate thing is, If that is the case, We're gonna have a lot of gun-shots to account for, And I know you're anxious around any kind of gun that shoots. We've got Dynamite, so the whole camp they've set up will be destroyed. It will lower the crime rate greatly so to speak. Making this town at least inhabitable by a traveler."

Daniel stood up and took off his hat and duster. And walked over to Paxton, he put his hand on his shoulder and sternly looked him in the eyes. Daniel smiling so he clearly had no Ill will.

"Listen here Paxton, I know you're just trying to be a priest, but no matter what happens today, tomorrow, a week from now, a month from now, or years from now. I need your commitment and unwavering loyalty to this town, I need you to believe no matter what you do it is the right thing, no second guessing yourself, just being positive and doing what you need to do. I place my faith in you, I'm not sure if you can do or say the same for me."

He let Paxton's shoulder go, and walked outside, he sat on his front steps as Lewis approached the house.

"Good Kid, Huh?"

Lewis nodded his head in agreement, as he greeted Daniel with a firm handshake. Stepping up one step and sitting side by side with Daniel, he was offered a smoke. He respectfully declined, alcohol was his next offer. Also declined.

"Y'know Daniel, I quit smoking and quit drinking, It will catch up to you eventually, I know it seems fun now but one day it wont be so fun. So... How has Paxton ever actually seen any face of human to human combat ever in his life? I know he is a kid but I dont wanna die trying to save his life. I hope he can handle his own out there."

Lewis stood up, turned around, and walked into Daniels house he smiled towards Paxton and sat down on the couch. He took 2 small boxes of ammo out of his pocket and slowly counted what he had for shotgun shells, and Repeater rounds. 80 all together, 40 each. "This'll have to do." he placed them back in his pocket. As his guns were already loaded.

The plan was already set in motion, only one more person was needed before they could proceed. As the sun went down, vague howls were heard in the distance, hopefully just coyotes. But life was never that simple. Daniel walked back inside and closed his door as he waited for Spike to get to his house.

"Maybe it was fate," came Nuck's cryptic reply.

"Keep moving."

They reached the canyon's rocky entrance, and the horses neighed and pulled away, not wanting to venture any further into the dark mists.
"If you turn around and run, the desert will claim you. Venture into the canyon. You will find whatever it is you seek there, but seeing as you lost, you go in without our protection."
The men faded away into the mist, leaving Patience and Nuck alone.

Spike strutted up to Daniel's door, opening it casually and sweeping inside.
"What's up, Danny-boy?"

Patience looked towards the canyon
"Well i guess we are on our own"
She looked towards nuck
"Might as well get a move on"
she started walking towards the mist of the canyon

"Hello Spike. I guess it's time to..." Paxton interrupted his speech questioning his choices. He couldn't handle him like he normally would so he thought of an excuse.

"Well Paxton, despite our recent disagreements, Spike is overqualified to help us in doing this task, not only that." his voice became stern on one word. "Spike" Back to a normal tone. "Is looking to accept god into his life. Like the 2 of us in this room, we each need a savior, he even has already agreed to a baptism and told me about it with great enthusiasm. In fact, we can do it right after we accomplish our goal. Trust me, he doesn't want to hurt anyone other than me."

Daniel grabbed his duster and hat, to put it back on. He then began to walk to the exit. Before he passed Spike he let a strong right fly directly into his stomach, only bending him over slightly, leaning down he whispered to him. "Any Recklessness and Either Me or Lewis will blow your head clean off, making you an afterthought in this god damn life."

Standing back up he continued out of the door, Lewis knew to wait to make sure Spike began to walk, he has to watch Daniels back in case he tries to assault him in anyway. "Paxton! Stay close to Lewis. You'll be just fine."

Lewis had already unholstered his shotgun, though he wasn't aiming it he was a master at QuickDraw. It would be in his favor if someone tried to assault him. He motioned his fingers for Paxton to move behind him even saying "Stay behind me kid. We can't let anything happen to you."

"Hey Spike, My name is Lewis" Said with a smile. "Look, No hard feelings, But I need to follow orders, Daniel is like my son, and he brought us together as a band of outlaws... You got the TNT, Bud? I just want to get tonight over with. I look forward to being close partners and friends with you. Also, glad you decided to become a Christian, Our lord and savior will steer you correctly. I promise."

Lewis waited for Spike to begin to walk out of the door.

Daniels footsteps looped around the house and to the north he wasn't that far away from anyone, with a quick jog they would all be behind him. He didn't explain the plan to spike, assuming he would just follow suit of what he is doing.

The dry barrenous wasteland of sand began to become dark, eerie, musty, and dangerous, Howls unlike that of a Hyena, Jeckel, coyote, or a wolf began to Echo through the wide expanse of cacti. Only making the job at hand harder.

Spike bit his tongue until it bled and spat blood onto Daniel's sleeve.
"Blood of Christ. Died for our sins."
Then he nodded at Lewis.
"Yeah, of course. I got it. Sure." He was clearly not paying attention to a word Lewis was saying.
But he turned and walked out.

Nuck followed, shooting looks around him at the shading walls.

The canyon was dark, shady, and as night was falling it seemed like Patience and Nuck were walking into the underworld.
Noises seemed impossibly loud, shadows seemed to dart everywhere. The mist made it feel like the air was becoming hard to breathe.
Then, as the canyon widened out into it's end, something very definite was moving, large and, strangely, unreal in the mist...

patience stopped walking and looked in the direction of the movement. She looked at nuck and placed a finger to her lips gesturing him to not make any noises. She slowly walked closer to the movement to try and get a clear view to see what it was
"if only I had my guns, but those idiots took them"
she whispered as she moved to hide behind a rock

lDaniel smiled at Paxtons anxiety, he knew it was going to be a rough raid, Paxton may not have been sure of the scale. It was possible they could all die tonight. The camp was filled with gangsters. And to make it harder, There were about 4 werewolves thrown in, maybe more. They were 20x tougher than ,than humans with thicker skin, and the serum they've given 'em just made them beefier.

"Paxton, We may not even sleep. However, We will be done before the sunrises, and we can watch that after we finish the stronghold, Also, don't worry about spike. Lewis has a dead sight on him. One wrong move and bang. "

He stopped dead in his tracks for a moment, as the howling began to come closer, growling was audible. They were close, and only drawing closer. It wasn't a good sign, either the wolves know that they're here or they're oblivious. Either way Daniel began to slow down.

Lewis did everything that Daniel did while staying focused on Spike.

Nuck copied Patience's hiding spot, then watched in awe as something impossible emerged.

It was a horse, but unlike any horse that could conceivably exist.
It was gaunt, black as night, and a strange black mist curved around it's hooves as it moved. It's bones were clearly visible through the skin and - to their shock - parts of it were actually missing, showing only bones through the holes, no blood or organs. It's eyes were burning coals of black flame, and when it reared, whinnying, the air became freezing cold.

"What on earth is that... thing?!"

Spike was uncharacteristically sullen, but nodded.
